The following morning, the students were at their best, overflowing with energy and excitement for the trip, which was considered a priceless opportunity from both an educational and motivational perspective.
Everyone was eager to showcase their talents, especially in front of the elite students and those from royal families.
However, the lower category student didn't have the chance to participate in this trip.
Category C and lower students will not participate due to the fear to lose them.. its a Chaos gate after all weather it is level one or not, they were weak enough to join this trip
Category F students had already been expelled from the academy.
So out of the total number of students of the first year, only 60% will join to this trip.
The total number of full teams each consisting of 10 students is 60 teams.
Each day, 8-9 teams will enter the gate over the course of a week, meaning 80-90 students will enter the gate each day.
At present, all the students were heading to a hall inside the academy called Bryant Hall.
This hall was named in honor of an old warrior in Lucaria who died defending his home, which has now become a large gathering place for the students.
In this hall, the students received more information about the trip and how it will be be.
There was a random draw system where the 60 teams would be determined.
Therefore, the students were eager and excited about which team they would belong to.
Jin stood in the corner of the hall, not speaking to anyone as usual.
He hadn't made any friends other than Henry, who he had met on his first day of the entring ceremony.
The same couldn't be said for Henry, as Jin watched him chatting with some of his other friends.
"Everyone seems excited " Jin thought to himself, sighing as he looked around.
"Why am I like this… I don't even have any friends? Maybe I should've taken some sociology classes."
Henry spotted Jin from afar and waved at him as he approached. "Heyyy, Jin! Jin, hello!"
Jin waved back. "Oh, hello, Henry. You're full of energy and seem excited."
Henry replied, "And you look like a corpse as usual. Also, why do you have dark circles around your eyes?"
Jin scratched his head. "Oh, don't worry about it, I just didn't sleep well."
Henry looked at him, placing a hand on his face. "This is bad.. you should take a rest in the way to the gate"
"Yeah maybe i will" Jin replied.
Henry sighed "I know you're excited, but you should have gotten some rest. This trip may be safe, but it could also be dangerous. As you know, it's a Chaos gate after all."
Jin smiled. "Just don't worry about it i will be fine."
"Well, Hmmm, I'll go now, I hope we end up on the same team, Jin," Henry waved as he returned to his friends.
"I hope so too," Jin replied and returned to his corner of the hall.
A few minutes later, five teachers entered the hall and stepped up to the stage in the hall.
Teacher Xiao stood in the center of the hall and raised the magical device, saying, "Hello, students. Give me your attention, please."
"As you all know, your trip begins today, the gate is about a day away from here, so by 2 days we'll be ready to enter it."
"Today we'll do a draw to determine the teams, and then another draw to decide the first 9 teams that will participate on the first round"
" We'll repeat the second draw every day throughout the week until everyone has had a chance to participate"
"Good luck to the students who will be selected for the first round."
"As for the escorts, your teams will be accompanied by instructor Catherine, Sarah, Kentry, John, and me and finally, Saint Martin."
"All the accompanying instructors are at the Commander rank, so there's no need to worry about your safety. In addition, for extra safty, each of you will wear a device on your wrist that will alert you if any danger occurs."
"This device will light up if any dangerous situation happens, which will make Saint Martin to go personally to protect you."
"Now, it's time for the draw. Good luck everyone."
Everyone cheered with excitement.

The students then formed lines to draw random numbers from a huge jar on the stage where Teacher Xiao and the other teachers stood.
The jar contains pieces of papers with team numbers from 1 to 60, and each number has 10 copies which is the number of students in each team
Jin stepped up to the stage and took a paper from the jar. "Hmm Team No. 45 ..."
Then he said, "Alright, I hope this number isn't one of the last ones to enter the gate. I don't want to wait as long as I did before."
The students continued drawing their numbers until the jar was empty. Some students chatted amongst themselves to see who joined which team, but Jin and many others didn't care about this matter.
Teacher Xiao returned to the stage. "Now that you've drawn your numbers, we will call the first teams that will enter the gate first"
Teacher Xiao clapped, and an academy worker brought another jar containing team numbers.
"So, all students from the selected teams should be mentally prepared. Once the teams are chosen, everyone should head to the academy's main gate and there will be carriages waiting for you."
"Let's begin!" Then Teacher Xiao used an amazing magic.
He placed his hand over the jar, and the slips of paper inside flew around randomly before 9 of them shot out into the air!
Teacher Xiao grabbed one of the floating papers and said, "Alright, I will now call out the teams!"
The students were eagerly awaiting the announcement of the first teams to enter the gate.
Teacher Xiao started calling, "Team 17, Team 54, Team 22, Team 13, Team 35, Team 43..."
He continued calling the team numbers until he called, "Team 45, Team 51, and Team 32."
Jin looked at his paper and smiled "Hehe, yes! I'm in one of the first teams. It seems like my luck finally is smiling at me."
Then everyone moved to Lucaria's main gate.
As Jin moved along with everyone, he saw a crowd of students surrounding someone he didn't recognize. It seemed this person was a celebrity from one of the selected teams.
"huh, looks like he is one of the royal families" Jin thought as he looked around.
Jin didn't see Henry anywhere, so he let out a sigh.
"Great… the trip to that gate is going to be really boring."
A few minutes later, the students arrived to the carriages outside the Academy gates, and each carriage driver was holding a sign showing their team number.
Jin spotted the carriage assigned to him and headed straight for it.
"Yo, Jin Yoshta, you're here too!" someone said behind him.
"Ah, hey… what's your name?" Jin turned to him.
Jin already knew exactly who was talking to him and was a little shocked that he was on the same team but he decided to ask his name so he wouldn't show that he was interested.
"Haha, that's really strange. I thought everyone knew me."
"Anyway, I'm Alucard Shanzu. Glad to have you on the team." Alucard extended his hand with a friendly smile to shake Jin's.
Jin shook his hands, as he said "I'm glad you're on the same team too"
"But… how do you know my name? Did we talk before?"
Alucard laughed as he stepped into the carriage. "Of course not, but I remember what you did on the first day of entry ceremony you were… really bold."
"Tch… I didn't do anything!" Jin felt a bitter taste in his throat. How could he not notice that, when he knew his reputation was basically ruined over some stupid thing he didn't even do?
As Jin was talking to Alucard, a beautiful girl with white hair approached them.
"Um, Alucard, you're on the team too?" the girl asked Alucard.
Jin looked at her and coughed, almost spitting out blood... How could two of the most popular students be on the same team as him!
"Isn't it a wonderful coincidence that Yumi Artavelia herself is on our team? How amazing!" Alucard laughed.
Yumi smiled as she was looking at Alucard "It's been a long time, Alucard."
Alucard smiled back "Yes, it's been a long time since we were together."
Yumi glanced at Jin but ignored him, and she simply got inside the carriage without speaking to him.
Soon, the rest of the students arrived and they all was amazed and thrilled that Alucard and Yumi were on their team.
The driver called out to everyone, "Come on, come on, get in the carriage , please!"
So Jin and the remaining members of the team got into the carriage.
Everyone was excited to have Alucard and Yumi with them and tried to talk to them and showering them with compliments.
As usual, Alucard was very social! He responded to everyone and chatted with them, while Yumi was less talkative and sometimes even ignored them.
As for Jin, no one even looked at him, everyone completely ignored him.
Jin tried to sleep several times, but everyone's voices were too loud beside him.
Every time Jin tried to sleep, he would wake up to the sounds of the other team members.
They were talking so excitedly and loudly... how could they not be excited to have two of the strongest students in the academy with them!
Jin was extremely annoyed, not only because they were completely ignoring him, but also because he was sleepy and couldn't sleep in the damn carriage because of the noise of their conversations.
"I hope some ugly Chaos creatures eat your bodies you fucking bastards!" Jin kept muttering to himself in frustration as he tried to sleep again and agian...
