Rosaline struggled harder, she was so scared, she just couldn't believe what was happening now. Was Lucian really doing this to her right now because of Sabrina, that witch!
"I forbid you from coming close to me or my room, and this is for as long as you live," with that he left her alone in the room.
Rosaline sat on the ground heart broken, she couldn't believe Lucian just said that. Ever since that woman came into their lives, she had changed her husband completely and made him fall out of love for her, that witch! She hoped she doesn't show her face here ever again, if not she was ready to end her life once again.
As the days passed by, turning to months, then years, things changed in Hallow, Lyon was forced to pick his Luna and after what he heard from Elena about Sabrina, he had felt heart broken too. Beth's father had managed to convince Lyon to get married to his daughter, which he had accepted because he had no other choice. His people had been patient enough for him to get his Luna but he had only hoped that Sabrina would come back to be his but now she was gone for good.
On the other hand Sarphina was still missing her daughter, it's been years and she still haven't seen her daughter, she missed her so much, so did Elena and Hannah, who felt for the woman,
"I miss her mother..." Elena whispered to her mother who sat beside her while Sarphina sat lost in her own thoughts. Even after years she still miss her.
"I know. And I'm sure she misses us too, my dear," Hannah spoke and Elena only sobbed, "Come on, stop that now," she scolded her daughter who only continued crying.
While in the council, Lucian sat in front of his desk, going through one parchment after another, after few minutes he finished with sorting them out and headed out of the council with Theodore behind him, he stepped into his wealthy carriage with Theodore and the coach man drove off,
"Malcolm has invited you over to his kingdom, it's his birthday and he says it would be an honor if you attend and spend sometime there too," Theodore informed and Lucian only hummed staring out into the woods, "And also," Theodore paused for a while before relaying the message sent by the King and Queen, "His majesty and her grace would like to know when you will come back to the mansion,"
It was because after the Incident, Lucian barely lived in the castle, of course he was betrothed a private mansion of his own, which he now stayed at. Even when Rosaline gave birth to his son, he hadn't spend much time at the ceremony and hadn't even carried the baby or spent time with his wife but left as early as possible which had hurt Rosaline and surprised Selene who later found out what happened. Even the King and Queen had understood after hearing what happened to Sabrina and when they had found out about her being a completely different creature, they had been shocked, even little Vincent who wasn't little anymore but still missed Sabrina.
"Why don't you just forgive, Rosaline? She's your wife and she has given birth to an heir for you now," Lucia tried to convince him the day of the ceremony, "I know she did wrong and even I am not happy with what she did to poor Sabrina but it has happened and it's been a while now-"
"Your grace, I would really appreciate it if you don't tell me what I should do and what I shouldn't," Lucian said not calling her mother which hurt Lucia and she just kept quiet. She knew that it had hurt him deep ever since that time, he had become even more heartless and less caring.
"Now father I will be taking my leave now as I have more important things to do," he said and Rosaline just frowned unhappily, holding her baby while looking at Lucian who didn't even spare her a look. Lucian walked closer to her, not looking at her, he bent down and kissed their baby on the forehead which brought tears to Rosaline's eyes as he turned and walked away, Selene went to pat Rosaline's back who cried bitterly.
