Chapter 762: The Beast Body's Small Completion, The Ancient Body Refining Tower

Whoosh!

The meteor streaked through the vast belt, carrying four figures as it sped toward the blinding radiance at its center—a blazing sphere like a second sun. The four sat perfectly still atop it, while between them, the Blood Spirit Embryo rotated continuously, releasing streams of crimson mist that coiled through the air before being absorbed into their bodies.

Time flowed swiftly. In the blink of an eye, half an hour passed.

Exhaling a faintly reddish breath, Mo Yu slowly opened his eyes. The sensation within his body was overwhelming—his blood boiled fiercely, his muscles pulsed with life, and his flesh felt ready to burst apart from sheer strength.

But what startled him most was the sudden tremor deep within his Supreme Sea where the shadow of the Force Ape resided. The phantom seemed to stir awake, quivering like a slumbering giant on the brink of awakening.

A terrible pressure radiated from Mo Yu's body, the air itself shuddering as if sensing the movement of a being capable of shaking heaven and earth.

The disturbance startled the other three from their meditation. They opened their eyes to see Mo Yu wrapped in a terrifying aura, his presence so oppressive that space itself seemed to ripple around him.

"He's… about to advance his Divine Beast Body," Mang Lie and Mang Yu gasped, their faces filled with astonishment.

Buzz…

At that moment, the shadow of the Force Ape within Mo Yu's core erupted with blinding black light. A powerful suction surged outward—not aimed at them, but at the Blood Spirit Embryo spinning in their midst.

The embryonic mass shuddered violently before two tremendous torrents of blood energy—each dozens of meters long—burst out and were devoured whole by the Force Ape's phantom.

Mang Lie and Mang Yu froze. Earlier, even after long effort, they could only refine thin threads of energy from the Blood Spirit Embryo. Yet now, the Force Ape within Mo Yu was consuming it like an endless maelstrom.

The sheer speed of his absorption was breathtaking.

"Let's hurry!" Mang Yu cried anxiously. "At this rate, he'll drain it all before we get a share!"

Mang Lie nodded at once, immediately focusing his energy again. They resumed drawing in faint streams of red mist as fast as they could.

Only Cai Lin slowed slightly, her violet eyes gleaming as she watched Mo Yu. As a Nine-Colored Swallowing Python, her cultivation path did not lie in body refinement. Seeing that he benefited more, she deliberately restrained her own absorption, allowing him to take the majority.

Half an hour passed in silence, during which the Force Ape within Mo Yu's Supreme Sea continued its wild consumption. Streams of crimson energy endlessly surged into it. The phantom's once-hazy figure grew increasingly solid, its body coiling powerfully like living obsidian, arms lengthening and hardening as though forged from dark-gold metal—unyielding and indestructible.

At this point, Mo Yu could almost pass for a true descendant of the Force Ape Clan.

Crack.

A fine fracture suddenly appeared on the surface of the Blood Spirit Embryo. After such relentless siphoning, its energy was running dry.

Mang Lie could only sigh helplessly. Under normal conditions, this embryo would have sustained all four of them for days. But because of Mo Yu's overwhelming draw, it was nearly spent within hours.

More than eighty percent of its power had been devoured by him alone.

Even so, Mang Lie merely shook his head without complaint. The embryo's extraction had been agreed upon fairly, and none could've predicted that Mo Yu's affinity for it would be so great.

Crack, crack!

The fractures spread in quick succession. Cai Lin and the siblings stopped refining, watching as Mo Yu absorbed the final tide of scarlet energy.

When that last brilliant light vanished, the once-glowing Blood Spirit Embryo turned dull and lifeless, crumbling into dust that scattered like sand across the meteor surface.

All of its blood essence was gone.

As it vanished, Mo Yu's eyes snapped open, gleaming like polished obsidian. Within them flickered a faint image of the Force Ape.

A surge of invisible pressure rippled outward from him, shaking the void. It lasted only an instant before fading away, leaving behind clear, steady eyes.

"The Divine Beast Body… small completion," Mo Yu murmured.

His fists clenched, power humming through his limbs. His flesh felt vastly denser, stronger—and the Force Ape body within him now possessed latent divine qualities. His combat strength had risen drastically.

A soft cough drew his attention. Looking up, Mo Yu found Mang Lie and Mang Yu staring straight at him, while Cai Lin turned away with the faintest trace of amusement.

Realization dawned—he had absorbed far more than his share. The ashes on the ground were proof enough.

"Apologies," he said sincerely. "If we find more treasures in the Divine Beast Origin, I'll make it up to you."

Mang Lie didn't reply, his expression merely contemplative as he sensed the intimidating strength radiating from Mo Yu's body. Mang Yu pouted slightly but smiled. "Alright, since you've said that, I suppose we'll let it slide."

Mo Yu smiled lightly and nodded in gratitude.

"We're approaching the Divine Beast Origin!"

Cai Lin's voice suddenly cut through the quiet. The three instantly looked up. Ahead of them, the endless meteor belt was finally thinning.

Beyond it floated a massive continent—a land so colossal it stretched beyond all horizons, suspended in the void like an ancient world of its own.

Even from afar, they could feel its weight, its overwhelming presence. The air resonated with a deep, primal power, carrying whispers of ancient beastly roars that still echoed from a bygone era.

They had arrived.

The Divine Beast Origin lay before them.

As the radiance of that world bathed his gaze, Mo Yu saw it clearly—a boundless land steeped in the aura of archaic might. Even from their height, no end could be seen. It emanated an ancient pressure unlike anything in existence.

Then, as they drew closer, his eyes caught something staggering: a massive crater stretching for millions of meters across the continent—perfectly shaped like a colossal handprint.

It was as if a being from beyond the heavens had struck down upon the land, tearing it apart. Entire mountain ranges had crumbled beneath that strike. The surface of the world below was scarred by gouges and chasms extending endlessly into the distance.

That single attack had sundered the land.

Mo Yu felt cold dread ripple through him. The power required to cause such destruction surpassed comprehension. Even an Earth Sovereign of the highest order could not have survived a blow like that.

"So this was the power of the otherworldly races…" he muttered.

Had it not been for heroes like Xiao Yan and Lin Dong, the Great Thousand World would have long since fallen under such might. Still, there was time—the Evil God's return was far away. He, too, would grow stronger, someday to fight alongside those legends and carve his name upon the Heavens Ranking.

Boom! Boom!

The meteor ignited as it tore through the Divine Beast Origin's atmosphere, friction turning it into a burning fireball. Flames streamed past them like falling stars.

The four cloaked themselves in protective energy as the searing light blazed across their skin. The ground below loomed larger with every heartbeat.

"Let's go!"

Cai Lin shouted, her form transforming into a streak of flowing light as she shot ahead. Mo Yu and the siblings followed close behind.

Moments later, the four landed upon a vast hilltop. The impact of their descent sent tremors through the earth. In the distance, the fiery meteor crashed into the plains, exploding into a massive crater that shook the ground beneath their feet.

Mo Yu lifted his gaze, looking over the ancient, broken landscape before them. Despite the ruin, it pulsed with a wild, untamed vitality—the lingering breath of an ancient age. Towering trees, each as large as mountains, stretched their canopies across the skies. The world around them reeked of primordial might.

High above, countless blazing streaks continued to fall—other groups descending upon the Divine Beast Origin.

"It seems the other clans have arrived," Mang Lie said calmly.

The others stiffened. This meant competition. The struggle for fortune within this realm was truly beginning.

After a brief pause, Mang Lie continued, "Our first destination should be the Ancient Body Refining Tower."

"The Ancient Body Refining Tower?" Mo Yu's brows lifted with intrigue.

Mang Yu giggled. "Yes—there used to be thirty such towers across this realm in ancient times. Each grants immense power to those who brave its trials. If you manage to climb the tower, your body will be refined and rewarded with treasures—divine techniques, maybe even proto-saint artifacts."

Mang Lie nodded gravely. "But to earn such rewards, one must achieve extraordinary results within the tower—a feat few can accomplish. Only geniuses from the strongest divine beast races have ever succeeded."

Mo Yu's interest deepened. Unlike his true self, he specialized in body cultivation—places like this were tailor-made for him.

"In ancient times," Mang Lie added, "only the most powerful clans were allowed to build these towers. Of the thirty once erected, merely five remain today—and even those are damaged. When one awakens, the number of challengers allowed inside is severely limited. The competition will be brutal."

Mo Yu nodded slowly. "A treasure that strengthens the body is worth any risk."

Mang Lie looked at the others. "Then, shall we vote? Should we head there first?"

He raised his hand.

Without hesitation, Mo Yu raised his as well. His newly enhanced Force Ape Body had reached small completion—if he could refine it further within the tower, he might approach mastery itself.

Cai Lin followed suit, her elegant fingers rising calmly.

Mang Yu smiled. "I'll go wherever you do."

Seeing unanimous agreement, Mo Yu grinned. "Then it's decided. Let's go see for ourselves the legendary Ancient Body Refining Tower."
