*BOOOOMM* A huge explosion occurs in the distance. Nytri's shoulders slump down, "What did that girl do now?" she sighs. Emma looks at the explosion and back at Nytri, "Uh, I believe an explosion that big would need our attention." Nytri smiles and her thoughts, "She really worries about us." Nytri shrugs, "That's just my daughter working something dangerous again, I'm honestly getting tired of beati-ahem, correcting her."
Emma is shocked, "Wait, YOU HAVE KIDS?!" Nytri is taken aback and Emma speaks, "You're not even 10,000 years old!" Nytri is shocked, "Who the heck gives birth at 10,000 years old?! They'd be dust by then!" Emma is surprised, "Dust, how?" Nytri makes an exasperated face, "Humans don't live for 10,000 years!" Emma looks at Nytri skeptically, "You think you're human?"
Nytri squints her mouth uncertain, "Yes?" Nytri waves her hands, "No, that's not important-" Emma speaks, "What's important is how someone as young as you have kids!" Nytri smiles wryly, "Yeah, it's a long story." Emma folds her arms, "Well, I'm here to listen." Nytri chuckles scratching her head, she starts to recount her life from as far back as she could remember, "I was actually an orphan..."
Nytri speaks quickly, so fast that anyone near would think she's just making noise. But Emma heard every word she said and expressed compassion, sympathy, anger and a whole lot of emotions is a couple hours. Nytri finishes recounting her life, "And that is how I fainted."
Emma is filled with emotions, her hand on her forehead, "Tell me, where is that bastard who dared to kill an orphan?" Nytri raises a brow, "Why do you ask?" An ominous aura spreads from Emma darkening the sky pure black, "Having his title stripped and working as a slave is not enough to satisfy me." Nytri is shocked then she tries to calm Emma, "Emma Emma, it's okay, I'm okay now." Emma's eyes narrow at Nytri, "Well, I'm not!" Nytri forces a nervous smile thinking of ways to sooth Emma's wrath.
Nytri quickly takes out cookies from her storage space and stuffs it into Emma's mouth, "How is it?! I made these myself!" Emma's eyes widen in surprise at the explosion of flavor from the cookies, "Wow, this is good! You can cook?"
Nytri's shoulders drop weighed by her experiences, "When your food turns to charcoal trying to roast it, you tend to explore alternative ways to survive." Emma hugs Nytri consoling her, "It's alright, It's a miracle you can actually make something good from the flames of the Abyss. That kind of fire is not meant for cooking." Nytri is surprised, "Really? But it does burn well."
Emma is puzzled, "The flames of the Abyss literally burn anything to utter destruction. You're the only one in the universe cooking with it." Nytri giggles, "Somehow, I doubt that, hearing it from you. You said the same about teleportation." Emma replies with a hint of embarrassment, "Well, there's that."
Nytri wave to Emma, "Let me show you around." Emma nods floating behind Nytri. Nytri descends quickly but stops hovering over one of the districts. Emma gazes at the atmosphere in the place, pleased and impressed, "To think you gave birth to all purebred Azurians and Xenos. You made such a beautiful nation. It reminds me of how my home was before the war." Nytri's eyes sparkle with curiosity and her voiced laced with compassion, "What was it like before?"
Emma starts to share her life with Nytri as they fly over the districts and villages of Azuria. Nytri takes it all in, feeling Emma's grief.
Emma's gazes over the nation. A group of Azurians are having fun with an outdoor game. An Azurian woman and a man are coupled on a date. A group laughs at jokes on a picnic. An Azurian woman chases a woman for speeding. There's a big stage with a movie being played and people loving it. A group of architects build a beautiful fountain which sprinkles water at the plaza. It was truly peaceful, as if there was never a tear in such a place.
Emma was happy that a sight that was once in the Celestial realm, is now before her eyes. As she finishes sharing her life, a tear streaks down her beautiful face. Nytri whips the tear with her hand on Emma's cheek, "You've experienced so much pain, but it has made you stronger and a righteous person." Emma rests her head on Nytri's hand, "Thank you. You've also been through so much…How do you stay happy after all this?"
Nytri smiles looking at the setting sun, "I have faith, that at the end of it all. Everything will be alright. If it's not, then it's not the end." Nytri's eyes transition into golden flames and Emma sees these eyes and words of mystery leaves Emma's mouth, "The Eyes of Faith." Nytri thought Emma meant she has faith on unseen.
Emma smiles, "You're unlike anything I've ever seen." She puts her hand on her chest and an egg materializes as she moves her hand back, "This is a phoenix egg. A Celestial beast gave it to me at its final moments." She moves the egg before Nytri, "I want you to help me raise this little phoenix, to be a symbol of hope and your faith. I believe-no I know you've always done the right thing and you will continue to do so."
Nytri is surprised by the phoenix egg, but she smiles and stretches her hand putting it on the egg. Her power moves into the egg as it absorbs the power of the Celestial Spirit-kin Princess and the Azurian Progenitor. Nytri glances at Emma, "Have you thought about a name for this little one?" Emman shakes her head with a smile, "How about you give her one?"
Nytri stares at the egg, "Aia." Emma smiles, "Why that name?" Nytri smiles, "Because she will be the sparkle between our 2 realms." Emma gasps excited to hear that, "I look forward to this." The egg glows slightly.
[AU:INFO
AU: And that is how the black Phoenix got her name, Aia, Aia Alcore.
Aia: WHOOOHOOO!!!! It's finally my turn to appear!!!
AU: Yeah no, you're a bit far from hatching.
Aia:...…..
AU: Setting me on fire won't change that 😐
Aia: I wasn't planning to! You really have issues with all this.
AU: Well, I get to end the 'INFO' this time. Cheers.
Aia: Hey, this is supposed to be a tour with mum guiding my mum.
AU: Yeah, they flew across the districts watching people living a peaceful and happy life. What else do I have to say?
Aia: You could've at least talked about how my mums stopped at a café to have ice cream, played at the arcade and mum scolding big sis Isa for blowing the research institute up again.
AU: You say scolding but we both know what happened was more than that.
