Oliver led Elias into the stadium zone through a service corridor that opened under the lower seating ring.
The scale of the place forced Elias to slow down.
He had seen large kitchens, airport terminals, and cargo hangars. This was different. The stadium zone sat inside Cube X like a city hidden inside another building. Training fields occupied one side. Drone lanes crossed above reinforced nets. A firing range flashed behind soundproof glass. Farther ahead, a long steel structure stretched through the middle of the zone from one end to the other.
Oliver noticed him measuring it.
"The stadium zone covers roughly three point one million square feet. It is the largest indoor structure on Prime Planet, at least among the ones command admits exist."
Elias adjusted the books still aching in his arm from earlier, though he had left them in A Block.
"That sounds like the kind of sentence taxpayers hear after the money is already gone."
