"Do you really not need a good rest?"
Odin asked in a deep voice, unable to stop himself.
At this moment, Odin wore a white robe and looked unusually relaxed.
Even so, that attire did nothing to diminish his majesty. His name alone was enough to intimidate.
"I think I'm ready," Noah said with a faint smile.
"As you know, although dealing with Hela is troublesome, I believe I can handle it. Plus, with the other Thor helping, it shouldn't be difficult at all."
"It's true. It shouldn't be difficult," Odin nodded, then looked at Noah with a wry smile.
"However, I was hoping you would face the Hela who has returned to Asgard for some time, not the one who has just been released."
Odin was genuinely frustrated.
He had not expected this young man, filled with limitless potential, to be in such a hurry.
Noah had just finished a life-and-death struggle against Dormammu-even if that battle was based entirely on the premise that he could not truly die.
Yet the way the boy fought made Odin feel it would have been better to simply die and be done with it.
It was torment.
Ten minutes of combat at a time, only to be cleanly killed.
Again and again.
Over a span measured in decades, centuries, or even millennia.
The fact that the boy had not collapsed mentally under such circumstances made him one in a million.
Even setting aside the constant deaths, the sheer length of uninterrupted combat alone was enough to break anyone's will.
Yet the boy looked perfectly fine.
That kind of will-perhaps a will to live-was terrifying.
And now, during what should have been a rest period, he still refused to properly recover.
Odin did not know that Noah had long grown accustomed to the passage of time within system space, nor that the system filtered out negative emotions during combat.
He also did not know Noah's true situation.
In other words, Odin had no idea why Noah was in such a rush.
Was he a battle maniac?
Did this boy harbor an even stronger craving for combat than that brat Thor?
No wonder he was still a novice in romance-just like that thousand-year-old brat Thor.
For a moment, Odin felt genuine concern for the future of these juniors.
Noah should be spending time with his girlfriend-if he had one-walking, chatting, nurturing a relationship.
"But Your Majesty," Noah said helplessly, "I don't have a choice. My situation is a bit dire."
He truly was helpless.
He had no idea what Odin was thinking.
If he did, he would have said, I'm not a battle maniac like your son. I want to rest with my girlfriend too.
Unfortunately, Noah neither knew nor cared to think about such things.
He understood Odin's concern, but he could not afford to wait.
The Hela who had just been released likely could not even be handled by Thor.
In the original timeline, after breaking free from her seal, Hela had crushed Thor's hammer, Mjolnir, with ease.
Then, while Loki frantically summoned the Bifrost, she seized the opportunity to charge through it and return to Asgard.
Thor and Loki were kicked out of the transport channel and fell onto the planet ruled by the Grandmaster.
But could such a thing still happen now?
If it did, it would only mean one thing.
Thor and Loki were not worth training.
Now, facing a Thor who had awakened his God of Thunder powers and obtained Stormbreaker, Hela's current strength was likely insufficient.
Thor would suppress her in a single encounter.
And that was without mentioning that Thor possessed the Power Stone, while Loki had fully transformed and mastered the Reality Stone.
If even Thor and Loki could handle her, why would Noah-the so-called "nuclear weapon"-need to be deployed?
What Noah needed to face was the Hela who returned to Asgard, gradually recovered her strength, and revealed her ambitions.
"What's wrong with your situation?" Odin asked, confused.
He truly could not see any problem.
Although Odin was not a sorcerer, as a Tier 11 god-level being, he could still perceive many things.
Noah's aura was stable.
His mental state was good.
His mana reserves were abundant.
He did not look troubled at all.
"Well... it's like this." Noah hesitated briefly, then decided to explain.
"My Domain is about to solidify, but I'm still missing one element. It's an incredibly difficult choice for me."
"Missing an element?" Odin frowned.
"I remember your Domain already has six elements. Being able to fuse and stabilize those six is already an incredible feat. You've even surpassed your teacher. You're still missing one?"
"Yes," Noah sighed.
"I'm missing the Light element, and I'm counting on you to open such a world this time."
Odin froze.
What kind of monster was this kid?
Was a six-element Domain not enough?
Was that level of fusion still insufficient?
Odin had seen the Ancient One's Domain, and that alone had shocked him deeply.
That strength had been tempered through real combat.
Odin himself had no reliable way to deal with it.
He could also tell that its degree of fusion was not particularly high-certainly nowhere near this boy's.
Yet even so, Odin had been helpless against it.
Then what would happen when this kid reached that level?
He could not imagine it.
He truly could not imagine it.
And yet, the boy was still not satisfied.
Six elements were not enough.
He wanted seven.
No.
Eight.
Odin suddenly realized that Noah also possessed a deeply hidden Dark element.
An eight-element Domain.
Odin almost sucked in a breath.
He had been somewhat helpless against the Ancient One's Domain, which did not even have highly fused six elements.
So what about an eight-element Domain with an extremely high fusion degree?
After a moment of hesitation, he asked cautiously, "Can the Domain you created fuse elements infinitely? I heard your teacher say this requires talent, patience, and extreme difficulty."
"Yes. It is extremely difficult," Noah said calmly.
"You could say I have no confidence in it myself."
That was a lie.
Or rather, a half-truth.
Noah lacked confidence, but the system did not.
"Then why insist on doing it?" Odin asked.
"Because I want to try. I am the creator of the Domain. If I don't try, should I wait for future generations?" Noah replied evenly.
"Besides, I don't want to give up any of the powers I already possess."
Hearing this, Odin could only sigh.
Noah's ambition was enormous.
Or rather, he perfectly fit the image of a genius sorcerer.
Odin admired this mindset.
Truly admired it.
Someone who did not merely wish to witness history, but to create it, deserved respect.
The path Noah was opening had never existed before.
Odin sometimes wondered what it would have been like if he had met this boy in his youth.
Or if that little brat Thor had met Noah as a child.
Would Thor be even stronger now, with a far broader future?
He shook his head.
Such things would never happen.
There was no point dwelling on impossibilities.
"Alright," Odin said with a smile and a nod. "I admit you are brave, and capable. I support you, child."
"But why are you in such a hurry to obtain the power of light? You could wait until your strength is sufficient, then go find those winged fellows."
"I'd like to," Noah sighed, "but my battle with Dormammu brought me enormous gains. The fusion progress of my Domain has accelerated greatly."
"The current strength of my Domain is enough to support a Divine Transformation. Once it fully solidifies, I'll never have another chance to add an element."
Only then did Odin understand why Noah refused to rest or stabilize his strength.
The logic was simple.
It was like pouring different colors of water into a bucket and letting them freeze.
During the freezing process, more water could still be added.
But once frozen solid, nothing new could fuse.
Yet Noah's explanation also left Odin feeling helpless.
This outcome was far beyond his expectations.
Odin had planned to summon Valkyrie back.
The prerequisite was that she abandon her hatred for Hela.
A key part of that plan involved a sorcerer like Noah, one who mastered special magic.
Odin had heard Thor's report about the woman in Noah's Sanctum-someone who had lived since the Isu era on Earth.
Noah had freed her from Isu constraints and restored her to a young body.
He had also once asked Odin about the world of the dead.
Everything pointed to one conclusion.
Odin intended for Noah to master soul-searching magic.
Then, he would have Noah resurrect the fallen Valkyries.
But now, things had changed.
Given Noah's current state, he clearly would not choose a universe centered on summoning souls.
This deviated sharply from Odin's plans.
Yet Odin could not blame him.
That made it even more uncomfortable.
"You know, child," Odin said with a wry smile, "this is a major deviation from my expectations."
"Why?" Noah was startled.
"What happened?"
"Because I wanted you to go to a world where you could find souls," Odin said slowly, "but now it seems there's a problem."
"...That really is unexpected."
