[3rd POV]
Walking through Gotham, Raven watched as Amity glanced around the place. They were in one of the nicer sides of the city, and the girl was...a bit overwhelmed. With there being bright flashing lights all over the place, courtesy of the various stores. There was also the cars that were driving by, the sound of their engines making her tense every time she heard one.
The amount of people was also making her rather uncomfortable, as there was a lot more than she was ever used to seeing in one place. The mere sidewalks of the streets of Gotham were huge, and the city itself was far and away larger than the Boiling Isles.
Hell, she found out that there were more people in Gotham than there were in the entirety of the Boiling Isles. And the boiling isles was huge, but Gotham was a single city! Sure, she knew that the Earth itself had a far higher population, but she didn't think single cities would be so much more populated.
The other major thing that she had noticed was the actual appearance of the city. Raven, Milim and Naruto had brought her to the nicer side of the city. The nice side of the city was largely protected and cleaned, in order to make it look nice.
It was the same place that all the rich and wealthy folk shopped and went out in. But even with it being the "Rich" side of the town, the place wasn't exactly safe. Raven had already noticed around seven different pickpocketers trying to reach into their pockets, to steal something from them.
None of them had succeeded of course. As she had used a bit of magic to stop them before they could even reach their hands fully near them. So they just walked away with a confused expression on their faces, wondering what they were just doing.
Besides those that were trying to steal from their pockets, there were also several shady individuals that Raven noticed were seemingly robbers of some sort. Probably prowling about to wait to find the perfect person to push into an alleyway and threaten to hurt.
And those individuals all had handguns.
None of them would be coming near them though, as Raven had once again used a bit of magic to make them stay away. It was nothing serious or anything, just a simple "Notice me not" charm that she had learned from the Harry Potter world, courtesy of her girlfriend, Wanda.
'Seems she's overwhelmed' Raven thought silently. She had been watching the facial reactions of the teen for a while now, and it was obvious that she had no idea what she was doing. Milim and Naruto were kind of just dragging her alone at this point, and Raven decided she needed to put a stop to that.
Walking up towards her side, Raven glanced down at Amity before speaking "Would you like to go anywhere, Amity? Like a cafe or a store?"
Amity, hearing the question, turned and looked up into the eyes of the woman that had brought her into this new city that was unlike anything she had ever been expecting. Both in good ways, and bad ways.
"Um...what sort of stores are there?" Amity asked, a little nervous, but also curious.
"Well, Wanda has told me that you are interested in chemistry and working with electrical circuits, right?" Raven asked in return, as the teen blinked in surprise that she knew this info, but nodded in the end.
"Well there is a store a few minutes away that sells a lot of equipment involved in electrical work, and I do believe they have quite a lot of chemicals as well. They also sell books that explain them and teach how to use them properly too, if you're interested" Raven explained, knowing that the girl wanted to learn this in order to strengthen her abominations. The girl was a genius that believed that by combining chemistry and electrical circuits with abomination magic, she could massively strengthen the abomination in question.
She wanted to make her abominations strong enough to surpass any and all others in the field. Including the head of the Abomination coven. The man that could turn himself into an abomination goop thanks to how skilled he truly was in the art. He was one of the strongest witches in the entirety of the boiling isles, and the most skilled in the art. The only one that was comparable to him was Amity's father...or old father at least.
He wasn't much of a father in her eyes anymore.
"Can we go there? I really want to learn more about these circuits! I want to see if I can somehow mimic the circuits into the abominations, and maybe give them the ability to learn and use magic!" Amity asked, her eyes suddenly sparkly as she looked into Raven's eyes with thinly veiled excitement.
While Milim and Naruto were both looking at her like she was weird. Because who wants to go out to a shop for industrial work and stuff like that?
Amity did.
"If that's what you want we can" Raven responded with a small smile forming on her face as Amity openly cheered, and promptly asked her to lead the way. Milim and Naruto grumbled slightly, but that stopped when they saw the look on Raven's face, and saw the excitement on Amity's.
They couldn't be annoyed when she was that happy. Even if they were going to somewhere that they both thought was dreadfully boring and not at all enjoyable.
But that didn't really matter. Because if it meant that Amity could enjoy her time in the new world, then they would be happy. Afterall, they were both hoping that she would be their new sister. And they would do their best to make that happen.

The time in the store had been an interesting one. As Amity had asked Raven a lot of questions about the items, and had asked what their budget was. And once she was informed that she didn't really have one, Amity started to go a little ham. Not too much, but she did end up grabbing nearly every book they had in the store on chemicals, electrical circuitry, and other areas that were similar to them, and connected to them.
She had also grabbed the necessary items to actually do this as well as tons of the chemicals that she wanted to experiment with. The chemicals would be tested mostly in potions, as she had been learning and mastering a few of them thanks to Wanda's help, and some of the books in the bookstore that she had read.
Most of the books on potions was from two different worlds, this being The Vampire Diaries and Harry Potter. Personally, Amity had preferred the latter. Their books were much more in depth, more advanced, and produced potions that were almost always vastly superior in every way.
There were only a handful of potions from the Vampire Diaries universe that compared at all. And they were some of the most powerful, and rare potions from that universe. The rest were not really comparable, and kind of useless to her to be honest.
But the one thing that Amity did notice about the Vampire Dairies potions was that they were far far far easier to make. They didn't require potion ingredients that were too insane, with most of them being relatively easy to acquire, as they were mostly non magical ingredients that she could just buy online, or find in the right type of store.
Which she actually had. When they had passed by the store where she had bought all the books she wanted and the chemicals, they had found that there was also a large shop that sold all sorts of plants and seeds.
She ended up buying one of pretty much every single one of them. Raven didn't really mind the price though, as her money was Wanda's money. And Wanda had an infinite amount of money, so she could spend billions and it wouldn't matter at all.
Amity was definitely getting spoiled at the moment, but Raven decided that it was worth it. The girl deserved to get spoiled a bit, considering what she had to go through over her years of living.
This was only the beginning of it though.
As now they were walking through the streets of Gotham, on their way to this local pizza shop where they'd have a nice lunch. And hopefully, bond with Amity a bit more than they already had over the last hour or two.
And as Raven walked behind the three children, she had a small smile on her face, and one thought on her mind.
'She fits right in'
