~Katherine's POV
I woke to the faint rustle of movement in the living room, the soft murmur of voices, and the faint whir of the television. My eyes fluttered open, and it took a moment for the world to make sense. The sun had barely crept over the horizon, spilling pale light across the room, and yet the house felt alive, humming with activity in a way that was both familiar and strangely comforting. I rubbed at my eyes and pushed myself up slowly, careful not to wake the twins if they were still sleeping, though a part of me already knew they weren't.
