I had been planning this for weeks, though I wouldn't admit it out loud. The twins were my little partners in crime, and they were ecstatic when I told them the plan. "Mommy doesn't know yet," I said, lowering my voice as Hanith and Jasmine leaned in. "We're going to make this a surprise."
They squealed immediately, jumping up and down on the sofa like it was a trampoline. I laughed, holding my hands up. "Easy, easy, we need to keep it a secret. She can't find out until the perfect moment."
