While Shurry continued to pay a visit to everyone else who needed to be informed. The people he'd left behind in his dust were thinking all of the weighty thoughts about what was to come. Some agreed to undergo training right away, but there were still others who thought it best not to just do what he said.
As a result of the differences between these people, their gods had to get involved in the discussion to help settle everyone down. Though it seemed even with their aid, it only created more issues. In the end, the gods relented to the wishes of the children who wanted to grow stronger, and would participate.
Eventually Shurry had made it through to every single one of the viable candidates to undergo his crazy training that bordered on having a death wish. He also did his level best to avoid meeting this timeline's Rose. It would cause too many problems, and then he went into the dungeon.
"I've got to clear this whole damn thing by morning…" He stretched, and then… "Alright, here I go." He said with a grin.
The dungeon instantly felt like it had a heart attack the moment Shurry began his noble hunt. Clearing floor after floor, it was as if he wasn't even a solid mass at all… That's right, he was moving at borderline the speed of light… Well, about half of it anyway, He didn't want to cause too much destruction just from moving.
His actions, found and slew every single one of the freaky monsters in league with that corrupted spirit, and also led to him saving dozens of groups of adventurers, mostly by accident. It took him a little longer than an hour to fully complete the whole dungeon down to the 60th floor, where now he was graced with the corrupted spirit, and Revis.
"Hmm, So this is what's been giving them a hard time?" Shurry spoke, shocking Revis and the spirit to finally process the new information.
"Who the fuck are you?" Revis swore, putting her sword up.
Shurry turned, and looked around, then pointed to himself.
"Yes you, dipshit!"
"That's also not my name. My goodness, even for an evil woman, you should at least be able to tell I'm a werewolf."
"Revis kill him, kill him now!"
Revis moved in with a heavy downward slash. Shurry didn't move, letting it hit him full force. It didn't even dent his skin.
"WhAt?!"
"Well, I am level 14. You have no chance against someone like me. There could be a truly endless number of you and it wouldn't matter. I'm actually here to save the spirit from her suffering. The dungeon has had hold on you for far too long now."
"You're getting rid of her?"
"Nope."
"Huh?"
"See, here…" Shurry said, holding a ball of light in his palm. "I'm already finished." He chuckled.
"What the fuck, how!!! When!?" Revis panicked, holding her head in agony, falling to her knees. "What are you…"
"I am, despite my efforts not to be, a hero." Shurry answered, and the dungeon began correcting itself to the natural state the floor should be.
Revis, who'd been constantly ordered around by what was now dead and gone, fell to her knees. The magic crystal which kept her alive, started cracking… similarly starting from her fingertips, she slowly turned to dust.
"So, this is the might of a true hero…" Revis said, with a smile… then she was nothing more than a pile of dust, slowly being absorbed by the dungeon.
"Damn, that's rough. At least you've been set free now." Shurry sighed. "If your soul manages to leave the dungeon, may you be blessed with a good life. If you don't manage to leave, may you feel refreshed, as a Xenos… It may be different for you, but at least you'll have friends and family." He spoke, and then looked to the spirit he kept safe inside an impenetrable light cage.
He made his return trip, stopping by to see the Xenos again. It was a brief meeting, and one even Asterius learned quite a bit from Shurry. Then…
The night began to give way to the morning's light, dawn was here, and the central plaza was filled with adventurers. Most of them were staring at the rather odd gathering…
"Why do you think the Loki familia, and the former Freya familia are gathered together like nothing's wrong?"
"I don't know, perhaps they're going down on a joint expedition to push further down."
"Who knows?" One random guy shrugged. "It could even be something to do with that ridiculous werewolf that appeared yesterday.
"Hey look, Hestia familia's arriving now too."
"And Magni, Modi, and even Baldr familias."
"Yeah, and their gods are with them?"
"Then where is Lady Freya?"
"Probably hiding among them. But why would all of these gods come here?"
"Even familias like Ogma's are here… What the hell?"
The numerous powerful adventurers having gathered, it was clear that something odd was going on. And, then even Ganesha's top brass showed up with him in tow.
"Ahahaha, I AM GANESHA!" He bellowed with laughter. "Welcome my kin, and their children. It is a beautiful day for an expedition!" He spoke with a powerful voice.
"Shut your face! My head's throbbing, damn it!" Loki cursed holding her head.
"Oh, sorry, I am… GANESHA!"
"AHHH!" Loki cried.
"Pfft, Ganesha, you sure have a lot of energy this morning."
"But of course I do, Hestia. For I am the god of the masses…" He pulled his arms back. "LORD GANESHA!" He shouted out leaning back, laughing.
Bell chuckled, and then spoke. "Everyone's here. This should be fun. I can't wait to see just how much stronger he is."
Leon picked up on that with ease. And looked over to Bell. "Bell Cranel, the Rabbit's Foot. What do you mean, when you say that? It implies you've seen him before."
"That's because I have. He's a large reason why I'm Level 7 now. Training with him before he was level 10, was enough to draw out this much. Now he's level 14…" Bell smiled, noticing that Leon was different from what he was told. "Congratulations on your level up, Knight of Knights, Sir Leon."
Before Ottar could make any comments about that, everyone felt a shift in the air.
