After the group left the room, they heard the door open, which made them look at it. Soon after, they saw Katelynn holding a yellow and purple beach ball in her hands. "Katie," Kevin said before quickly approaching her, which made the group follow behind.
Katelynn turned to the group as Kevin stood before her and examined her. "You OK? You aren't hurt or anything, are you?" he asked.
Katelynn annoyingly sighed and nodded. "I'm fine, Big Brother; you don't have to worry about me like I'm eight years old," she said.
When the group was near the siblings, Michelle looked at Katelynn. "I'm so sorry for what I did at the dining hall; I—" she was interrupted when she sternly looked at her. "And you shouldn't worry about me either."
Michelle looked at Katelynn, surprised as she sighed. "We're all playing big parts in this to save Poppy and Kissy..." she whispered before looking at her with determined eyes. "And if I have to be buddies with the one person who brainwashed all of us... then so be it..."
Michelle remained silent and looked down before nodding. Kevin grinned at Michelle. "Well look at that, you got told off by Katie," he said.
Michelle looked at Kevin, baffled, before pointing at him. "You're no better either; still being the overprotective brother even though you knew she was just helping Lily make Yarnaby pretty," she said.
Kevin flinched a bit before looking away, annoyed. "Of course I'd be worried about her; she was with a psychopath this entire time while taking care of a beast," he said.
Michelle rolled her eyes and shrugged her arms. "Sure, whatever helps you sleep better," she said, which made Kevin sternly look at her with a slight growl.
Katelynn stared at the interaction before smiling and giggling. "What's going on?" a female voice asked.
The group looked forward as Katelynn stepped away, revealing Lily Lovebraids. "Oh, they're just bantering between one another; it's nothing too serious," she said.
Michelle looked at Lily Lovebraids. "Where is Yarnaby at?" she asked.
Lily Lovebraids smiled. "I thought you'd never ask!" she shouted.
The group stared at Lily Lovebraids as she walked to the side before making trumpet noises with her mouth. "I present to you the most beautiful toy in the dollhouse: Yarnaby!" she shouted.
The group heard heavy footsteps until they saw Yarnaby with parts of his mane tied in braids, black eyelashes drawn on his face, and a large blue bow on top of his head.
Silence filled the room until Kevin snorted and laughed. "This is the best thing I've seen since I've been in this place!" he shouted.
Michelle looked away while trying to keep her composure; when she glanced at Yarnaby, he was staring at her with bright eyes, which made her laugh. "Damn it, I thought I could keep it together, but I can't!" she shouted while laughing.
Jack giggled a bit while Mommy Long Legs looked away, trying not to laugh. "He looks so ridiculous..." she said, lowly, before glancing at Yarnaby. "Though I'm surprised that he allowed it..."
Matthew stared at Yarnaby. "It might be because he acts more like an animal than a person..." he whispered.
When Lily Lovebraids looked in Matthew's direction, she noticed Baby Long Legs in his arms. "He just looks so fucking stupid!" Kevin shouted.
Lily Lovebraids looked at the group with slightly bloodshot eyes. "HEY!!" she shouted, which made most of them look at her while taking fighting stances. "No bad language in front of Mommy's baby!"
Most of the group looked at Lily Lovebraids, confused. "Mommy's baby?" they asked before looking at Baby Long Legs.
Lily Lovebraids approached Matthew. "Also, you're holding him wrong; you're supposed to make sure his neck is supported," she said.
Matthew flinched a bit. "Oh, how careless of me," he said as he cradled Baby Long Legs before looking at Mommy Long Legs. "Apologies for that..."
Mommy Long Legs looked at Matthew. "Oh, it's fine... he's got a, uh... strong neck," she said.
Lily Lovebraids smiled at Baby Long Legs. "I'm so glad you could join us for tea, Baby," she said before looking at Mommy Long Legs. "And look, your mother is here too! She must be thrilled to be reunited with her baby."
Mommy Long Legs nervously smiled. "Uh... yes, I'm... beyond ecstatic," she said. "We should find his seat downstairs."
Lily Lovebraids smiled and nodded. "Great idea, bestie; let's go!" she shouted.
The group nodded as Lily Lovebraids walked forward, humming, before turning left. As the group followed behind Lily Lovebraids, the couple stayed at the back next to Katelynn. "By the way... was there anything in particular you saw?" Michelle asked, lowly.
Katelynn looked at the couple. "Her room had a few things, including a large heart-shaped bed; I asked her about it, but she told me not to touch it..." she whispered. "The most important detail I saw in that room is that wall Jack tried to open; there's a dresser with her hair tied against the cupboard..."
Kevin hummed a bit. "That has to be where the key is..." he whispered.
Michelle nodded. "Agreed... you played your part well..." she whispered.
Katelynn smiled as they caught up to the group; as Matthew placed Baby Long Legs in the chair, Lily Lovebraids smiled. "We're still missing one friend," she said before looking around. "Where oh where could Dolly Grub be?"
Michelle looked up and noticed panels on the roof. "I might have an idea where she might be," she said before aiming her right arm at it.
The Pressure Hand shot from Michelle's wrist and touched the panel before she pulled herself up.
Soon after, Michelle let go of the panel and landed on the balcony while the Pressure Hand retracted back to her wrist. "The only one we haven't encountered yet is CatNap; he must be in here..." she said, lowly, as she looked at the yellow star in the top left corner before aiming her left arm at it.
The blue hand shot from Michelle's wrist and grabbed the star before she started pulling, which made the wall turn.
When the wall made an opening, Michelle retracted the blue hand back to her wrist before she went through it. As Michelle entered, she heard a thud against the ground before hearing an annoyed sigh. "Finally..." a male voice said, lowly.
Michelle turned her head to the right and saw CatNap with his right paw inside the shower. "CatNap?" she asked.
CatNap turned his head to Michelle. "Ah... you have excellent timing, Angel," he said as he retracted his claw before lowering his right paw.
As Michelle approached CatNap, he pulled his paw out of the shower before holding it out to her, revealing Dolly Grub. "This doll was inside the shower with Lily's hair wrapped around it," he continued.
Michelle grabbed Dolly Grub. "And from what I heard, it probably took a lot longer than you expected," she said.
CatNap sighed. "Indeed... it felt like I was cutting at her hair for hours..." he said. "Besides burning it, I don't know of any other methods to free us from it..."
Michelle sighed a bit. "So in other words, if all of us are ensnared in her hair, we'd all be screwed; that's just great..." she said, lowly, before turning to the opening. "Well now that we found Dolly Grub, we shouldn't keep them waiting."
CatNap nodded before the duo approached the opening; as they went through it, she got on the railing before jumping down. The air jets on Michelle's shoe braces activated before she landed on the ground.
After CatNap landed on the ground, the duo approached the larger group. "I found Dolly Grub; seems like she finished her bubble bath," Michelle said.
Lily Lovebraids sniffed the air before humming in delight. "Vanilla; how delightful," she said.
As Michelle placed Dolly Grub in the seat, Lily Lovebraids smiled and clapped her hands. "Oh, this is the best day of my life; all of the friends," she continued before gasping. "I almost forgot, I need to get ready!"
Lily Lovebraids turned to the door. "Braid Buddy, you and Suzy, follow me to the kitchen," she said before approaching it. "We need to make final preparations before our Special Guest arrives.
The duo looked at one another before following Lily Lovebraids as she placed her hand on the doorknob and twisted it. When the door closed behind the trio, CatNap looked at Yarnaby and noticed his makeover, which confused him. "What have I missed?" he asked.
Huggy Wuggy looked at Yarnaby with a hearty chuckle. "A lot..." he said.
The trio approached the door on the left before she placed her hand on the doorknob and twisted it before opening it. The trio went through the opening before turning right and approaching the opening on the left.
As the trio entered the kitchen, Lily Lovebraids looked at the items on the cabinet. "Oh look at this mess; we need to tidy up," she said before smiling at Katelynn. "Could you please help me tidy up in here, Doozy Suzy?"
Katelynn nodded. "Sure thing," she said as she held the beach ball with her tail before grabbing a few plates.
Lily Lovebraids picked up a plastic book before holding it out to Michelle. "As for you, Braid Buddy, return my recipe book to the nook upstairs while the rest of us get everything ready," she said.
Michelle nodded. "Sure, I can do that," she said as she grabbed the plastic book with her left hand.
When Michelle intently looked at Katelynn, she nodded before smiling at Lily Lovebraids and holding the beach ball up with her tail. "Hey Lily, once we're done tidying up, how about we play catch inside the dining hall?"
Lily Lovebraids placed her finger against her chin with a hum. "I don't know... there's so much to do..." she said, lowly.
Katelynn gave Lily Lovebraids puppy dog eyes. "Pretty please, Lily..." she said.
Lily Lovebraids looked at Katelynn before smiling. "OK! But I'll need to do one thing once we're done tidying up," she said.
Katelynn smiled and raised her arms. "Yay! Then let's get cleaning!" she shouted.
As the duo was putting things away, Michelle smiled at Katelynn. Nice one, Katie, she thought before approaching the opening.
Back in the dining room, Michelle opened the door and closed it behind her as the group approached her. "It's go time," she said before looking at them. "When those two return to the dining hall, you're going to play catch with that beach ball Katie brought."
Michelle turned her head to Huggy Wuggy, Mommy Long Legs, and CatNap. "Remember, play along or act if you have to," she continued.
The trio nodded. "Right," they said.
Michelle looked at Matthew, Kevin, and Jack. "Time to move," she said.
The trio nodded as they approached the stairs before climbing them; when they reached the top, they approached the door on the left.
Michelle placed her right hand on the doorknob before twisting it. After Michelle opened the door, the group entered before the door closed behind them.
