"I can't believe this girl is so bold! But still, I should try to maintain some composure. I need to get to sleep quickly, otherwise I won't be able to wake up tomorrow. A good night's rest will give me all the energy I need to have a great day out tomorrow!" Hiroshi thought, shaking his head gently.
He closed his eyes and slowly drifted off to sleep.
Even though it was summer, it was still quite chilly outside, especially at night. It felt like autumn was just around the corner.
But they were still very happy to be out exploring. Soon, they would be heading back home, and this year they would definitely celebrate the New Year with their family.
And so, time passed quietly, and the night came to an end. Most people in this village didn't go to bed until one or two in the morning.
The next morning, Harumiko woke up early. She noticed that Hiroshi was still sound asleep beside her.
"I should get up and get ready first. I'll put on some makeup, get dressed, and then wake Hiroshi up. I'll let him sleep a bit longer, since we'll be out all day again today!" Harumiko whispered softly, gently getting out of bed.
She headed to the bathroom to get ready. Harumiko really was a thoughtful person, always considerate of others' feelings, especially Hiroshi's.
Knowing that they would be spending the whole day outside, she wanted him to get as much rest as possible.
Time passed, and about an hour later, Harumiko finally finished changing, doing her hair, and putting on her makeup. She then walked over to Hiroshi's side to wake him up.
"Hiroshi, time to wake up! It's getting late. Let's get ready and head out!" she said gently, shaking him lightly.
Hiroshi dimly heard someone calling his name. He slowly opened his eyes and saw Harumiko next to him, waking him up.
"Okay, Harumiko, I'm up. I'll get ready quickly, and then we can go! We need to grab some breakfast before we head out. I don't think I can make it through the day without eating!" Hiroshi said, quickly sitting up and smiling at her.
Harumiko nodded gently and sat down on a nearby chair, enjoying the view outside the window.
Once Hiroshi was fully awake, he quickly rushed to the bathroom to use the toilet and then started his morning routine. Knowing they had a full day ahead, he decided to take extra care and get ready very nicely.
"Finally, I'll get to see that place and find out if it's really as magical as the legends say!" Harumiko thought to herself, gazing out at the scenery.
In the bathroom, Hiroshi was speeding through his routine. He didn't want to waste a single precious moment of the day.
"After I'm done, we'll find a place to eat breakfast. Then we'll head straight to the lake. I heard it's not too far from the village!" Hiroshi thought as he brushed his teeth.
Soon, Hiroshi was done in the bathroom. He tidied up his hair and clothes, then walked out. Just then, he saw Harumiko sitting by the window, admiring the view outside.
From behind, Harumiko looked incredibly beautiful, almost like a little fairy sitting there, lost in thought.
