Red looked at the man with curious eyes.
"Uncle… may I know your name?" he asked softly.
The man laughed warmly. "Of course. You can just call me Fisherman Uncle, hahaha…"
Red tilted his head slightly. "This uncle is strange… hmm…"
"Hahaha… then call me Uncle Star," the man said with a grin.
"Wow… that's such a beautiful name, Uncle," Red replied with admiration.
"Of course it is, son," Uncle Star answered proudly. "Oh yes… you already know your name too handsome boy with eyes as beautiful as a red lunar eclipse."
Red blinked in confusion. "What do you mean, Uncle?"
"Nothing, son, hahaha…" Uncle Star chuckled. "Your name is Red."
"My name is Red?" the boy repeated. "But why do you call me a handsome boy like a red lunar eclipse?"
Uncle Star pointed toward the living room. "Go look in the mirror and see those red eyes of yours. They shine just like a crimson lunar eclipse."
Red walked over and stared at his reflection for a moment before smiling shyly.
"This uncle really knows how to compliment people, hahaha… thank you, Uncle."
A faint blush appeared on his face.
"Hahaha… you're such a funny kid," Uncle Star said with a soft laugh. "Oh yes… do you remember anything?"
"Remember what, Uncle?" Red asked innocently.
Uncle Star's smile slowly faded. "Hahaha… it's nothing. But if one day you remember what happened to you, I hope you won't torture yourself or drown in sorrow because of it."
Red looked even more confused. "What do you mean, Uncle?"
"It's okay, kid," Uncle Star replied gently, stroking Red's head. "When you grow older, you'll understand everything… and someday, you'll be strong enough to accept the truth behind what happened to you."
"Hm…?"
Red could only remain silent, unable to understand the hidden meaning behind Uncle Star's words.
Would Red ever remember the tragedy that had changed his life forever?
