Chapter 99 - Mcu-A new adventure cap 99

Peter wasn't the only one who thought about creating superhero video games.

This has been done for a long time with Captain America, for example.

And although the Terra Formars game had been successful before the appearance of Spider-Man, with the appearance of the arachnid superhero the popularity of the game exploded, gaining players and fans from all over the world.

Taking advantage of that popularity, Parker Games created many other games based on the arachnid character, for both computers and consoles.

The popularity of the game and the money obtained made many covet this new gold mine, and calls kept pouring into Susan's office.

Although Susan had already rejected all the proposals and had chosen Peter's, she did not make these people give up.

After all, they didn't want to miss this opportunity.

When they approached Tony Stark about collaborating, he immediately rejected them and instead created his own gaming company, using the Iron Man character as his main focus.

Therefore, without knowing when new superheroes would appear, these people did not want to give up and continued to insist despite the rejections.

Tired of these calls, Susan didn't bother to be rude and ordered her assistant to ignore them.

Besides preferring to work with someone she knew, she was also grateful to Peter for his previous help.

Even this could not be considered returning the favor, since Peter's proposal was much better than those of the people he was now ignoring.

In addition to a hefty bonus for the rights to produce a video game featuring the Fantastic Four and include the characters in other games, they themselves will also receive a percentage of the sales of those games.

With such a proposal, even if Susan was not grateful to Peter, she had no reason to refuse it.

His three colleagues also had no complaints about collaborating with Parker Games, and Johnny even wanted to participate in the game's development.

Of course, his brother knew nothing about video game creation, but he wanted to participate in the testing and has said he will visit Peter's company offices to 'check on' the progress.

And surprisingly, Ben joined his brother, and the two of them spent a lot of time playing Parker Games' other games in their offices.

Although Ben's condition meant he couldn't grip the controls or press the keyboard keys, this was solved with custom-made controls and a keyboard.

The man was very happy with Peter's gift and accompanied Johnny to play video games in his free time.

These gifts also surprised the group and reminded them of their friend's troubles.

Especially Red, who immediately worked to design things to make his friend's life easier.

In addition to a new bed, he also modified his bathtub, toilet bowl, as well as many other things.

Of course, Susan was also involved in overseeing the creation of the video game and has been communicating with Peter to find out the details.

He definitely did it just to make sure the image of the Fantastic Four wasn't damaged.

TRUE?

Since Peter was also a shareholder in the company, he also began to give him ideas or advice on how to manage the company's direction.

Reading the last message, Susan couldn't help but feel frustrated and was surprised by the sudden feeling.

Not fully understanding her actions, the woman did not reply to Peter's message and kept her gaze fixed on the air.

"Throw!"

Suddenly, the door burst open and her young assistant rushed in, shouting urgently and pulling Susan from her thoughts.

"What happened?" Susan said as she stood up from her seat.

Susan knew that the young woman did not normally behave like this, so she deduced that it was something urgent and asked with concern.

"..."

When she heard the young woman, Susan sighed wearily.

"Mr. Richards, I assure you that if you help us, you will have the gratitude of General Ross."

"Besides being able to help you finance your experiments, with General Ross's help no one will dare bother you," said Colonel Moore, referring to the demands of certain agencies for the study of the Fantastic Four's powers.

Facing Colonel Moore was Reed Richards, who for a moment remained thoughtful at the mention of funding.

The two men were conversing in the reception area on the first floor of the building, as this is where Colonel Moore found Reed when he arrived unexpectedly.

Seeing that Reed Richards did not immediately deny his proposal, Colonel Moore nodded in satisfaction.

It was not the first time Colonel Moore had come here, but his visits were always turned away.

Therefore, he had taken it upon himself to gather information about the new superhero group before returning and tried to tempt the man in front of him when he was lucky enough to find him.

Within the group, Reed Richards was the one with the best chance of convincing.

The Storm brothers were rich and they found nothing about them that would help convince them.

The same goes for Ben Grimm.

The man only had problems with his former fiancée. And even if they could change the woman's mind, Ben Grimm wouldn't be much help.

With Reed Richards it was different.

The man was not rich and had the same problems as many scientists.

Lack of funds, something they could easily resolve.

And since the superhero group had been under a lot of pressure lately, he thought that offering his help might change the group's mind.

Unfortunately for him, Reed soon shook his head and said decisively.

"This is not my decision"

"The group has decided to decline the offer," Reed said.

Although the group was willing to help if they needed it, Colonel Moore's proposal seemed suspicious.

They wanted the group's help, but refused to share the details of the problem they needed to solve.

If the group wanted to know more, they had to sign strict contracts that not only legally obligated them not to disclose the information obtained, but also forced them to obey the orders of this so-called General Ross during the work.

All of this seemed too suspicious, and no one in the group wanted to get involved in shady dealings, so they declined the offer.

After all, they were talking about the army, and they could guess what they would be forced to do.

"Mr. Richards, you are the leader of the group."

"I'm sure I could convince his colleagues."

"General Ross will be very grateful"

Reed's refusal annoyed Colonel Moore, but he kept his annoyance to himself and tried again to convince the man.

Reed shook his head at their compliments.

Of course, the group had followed his orders in their aid operations.

But that was because he was the smartest of the group and his ideas were reasonable.

But this does not mean that he is the leader.

Seeing Reed reject his proposal again, Colonel Moore began to grow impatient.

"Mr. Richards, I remind you that General Ross is a very important person and he might be offended by your constant rejections," said the uniformed man.

"Is this a threat?"

Suddenly, a voice startled them and they both turned in its direction, where they found a woman arriving behind Reed.

While Reed sighed with relief at the sight of Susan's arrival, Colonel Moore grimaced because the woman in front of him was the most vocal in refusing to help.

"Not at all, Miss Storm"

"I'm just emphasizing that it won't be easy to gain General Ross's friendship after this," said Colonel Moore, shrugging his shoulders.

"We already told them no," Susan said.

"And if you have no other business to attend to, please leave the Baxter Building."

Colonel Moore gritted his teeth.

But not acting on impulse, the man simply turned around and left without saying goodbye.

When the man left the Baxter building, he crossed the street and walked toward a black car and got into the back seat.

Ordering the driver to start the car, the man took his phone out of his pocket and made a call.

"General"

The call connected quickly and Colonel Moore immediately greeted his superior.

Since this was his personal phone, he was sure of who he was talking to.

"What happened?"

"Did you convince them?" came the voice on the other end of the phone.

"I'm sorry, General, I failed the mission," Colonel Moore replied regretfully.

The other end of the phone remained silent for a few moments before General Ross's voice could be heard again.

"It's regrettable, but expected," replied General Ross.

"I'll take care of them later."

"Come back right away, the target has appeared."

"Let's go to Brazil"

The new orders cheered Colonel Moore up, and he ordered the driver to hurry to the airport.
