With the Fire Elemental and Wind Elemental crises resolved, only the Water Elementals remained.
Skywall was taken back to the Wind Elemental Realm by Thunderaan, so Gale could only use the Rainbow Bridge to rush to Darkshore with Freya.
The Blade of the Master, the place where Gale killed Sogus the Slitherer. Sogus's massive body was already partially buried in the sand, but the giant sword still stood.
Freya: "Is this a Faceless One?"
"Sogus the Slitherer!" Gale waved his hand, channeling the essence of Ragnaros to incinerate Sogus's corpse. Then he summoned Holy Light to purify the Shadow energy from the earth.
Looking around, a giant whirlwind could be seen in the distance, swirling through the forest. Further north, by the sea, a massive Water Elemental was vaguely visible, attacking the shore.
Freya also looked over, "It seems we need to hurry."
Gale nodded, activated the Rainbow Bridge again, and teleported north. When he reappeared, he was already near the whirlwind.
"Let's deal with it first."
Gale took out Mjolnir and dispelled the whirlwind with a single strike.
At this moment, a group of Kaldorei appeared from within the forest, looking at Gale with surprise.
Freya said, "They are your kin."
Gale nodded, "You go ahead, I'll be right there."
He asked the group of Kaldorei, "Do you live in Amissaran?"
"Yes!" The Kaldorei looked at Gale in astonishment, "Which elf are you from?"
"I am Gale Morninglight!"
The Kaldorei gasped, "Your Majesty Gail?"
Clearly, they had heard of Gale's name, and held him in high regard.
Gale pointed to the crown on his head, "In the Kaldorei Empire, is there anyone else worthy of wearing it?"
The Kaldorei confirmed Gale's identity and quickly bowed to him. Gale inquired about the situation in Amissaran and learned that it was relatively safe. Although whirlwinds raged in the forest, the Water Elementals had torn open the riverbed, isolating Amissaran on the opposite bank, which inadvertently protected it.
Amissaran's lord, Etherix, was currently in Auberdine fighting against the Water Elementals' invasion, and Malfurion had already led people to reinforce him.
Gale had them stand closer, then activated the Rainbow Bridge, arriving near Auberdine.
The Kaldorei looked around in surprise, then spotted Freya, who had left alone earlier, behind them.
Freya walked over, saying with a hint of envy, "The Rainbow Bridge is so convenient."
Gale spread his hands, *I thought about cooperating with you, but you weren't willing to part with the global positioning system!*
Auberdine was already submerged by seawater, and the Kaldorei resistance was still using Auberdine's buildings to resist the Water Elementals' attacks. They were currently fighting a giant Water Elemental. Malfurion, alerted by nature, sensed someone's arrival.
Turning his head, he was stunned by Freya's stature.
Freya strode over and grabbed the Water Elemental. The Water Elemental frantically attacked Freya, but it could not cause her any harm.
She squeezed with her hand, bursting the Water Elemental. Then she cast a spell to guide the water back into the sea, where it disappeared.
Malfurion also noticed Gale at this point, and his expression became complex. Although he had not left Mount Hyjal, Cenarius continuously gathered information about Gale, and Malfurion had only then learned of the great deeds Gale had accomplished.
He had to admit that if the Kaldorei Empire had been in his hands, it would surely have perished in these disasters. Even if he was favored by nature, it would not have been enough to contend with so many threats.
"Has Guardian Cenarius not come?" Gale asked.
"Teacher has gone north to inspect the situation; a part of it has also been submerged by seawater."
Perhaps influenced by Gale, Malfurion also answered calmly.
Gale nodded, looking at Etherix, "Long time no see."
Etherix, trembling with fear, bowed to Gale, "Your Majesty."
Gale smiled, "We'll talk more later."
Saying this, he looked out at the sea.
Everyone, puzzled, also looked out at the sea. A giant whirlpool appeared on the surface, and a tall Water Elemental rose from the vortex, coming ashore.
"Guardian, how may I be of service to you?"
Freya: "Neptulon, it seems you've lost control of the Water Elementals."
Everyone was astonished, so this tall Water Elemental was Neptulon. Then who was this Guardian that Neptulon treated with such reverence?
Neptulon gave a wry smile: "To be honest, a large number of traitors have indeed appeared among the Water Elementals. They were incited by Deathwing, wanting to return to the real plane, wanting to regain dominion over this land, just as in ancient times."
The Kaldorei then realized, no wonder the Water Elementals had been continuously attacking Darkshore; this place was previously ruled by Water Elementals, and they wanted to "reclaim lost territory."
Gale stepped forward, "And what about you, Guardian Neptulon?"
Neptulon glanced at Gale, recognizing his identity through the eternal spear.
"Your Majesty Gail, please don't misunderstand, I myself and the Water Elementals who still remain loyal to me have no desire for this place. We are Water Elementals; we should live in the vast ocean. Now that the real world's ocean is so vast, why should we contend for such a small piece of land?"
The Kaldorei were stunned once more; they hadn't expected Neptulon to speak so softly to Gale.
Was this really the King of the Water Elementals? The legendary Four Elemental Lords?
Gale said, "I highly commend your understanding, Guardian Neptulon. If you can keep the Water Elementals in check, I can represent the Kaldorei Empire and form an alliance with the Water Elementals to share ocean resources. From now on, in the vast ocean, we will help each other and forge an eternal alliance."
Neptulon was overjoyed: "Excellent! The Water Elementals have always been peaceful and do not like conflict. But there are many creatures in the sea who wish to enslave us. With the help of the Kaldorei Empire, the Water Elementals will be even safer."
"Rescuing allies is our bounden duty," Gale said. "However, Guardian, you should know that the Kaldorei are, after all, land creatures. We might be able to participate in battles on the sea surface, but for deep-sea battles, we would be powerless."
"Naturally!" Neptulon quickly nodded. It was already excellent not to offend Gale, and receiving help from the Imperial Navy was a complete surprise.
Immediately upon returning to the real world, Neptulon dispatched a large number of Water Elementals to gather intelligence worldwide. Gale's killing of Ragnaros in Redridge Mountain and the Imperial Navy's battle against the Wind Elementals were all relayed back by the Water Elementals.
That is why Neptulon feared Gale's strength and recognized the power of the Imperial Navy.
The Sea Monster Killer's ability also made him extremely wary.
He did not want to be an enemy of Gale; being able to form an alliance with Gale would be even better.
