~Lydia's POV~
I stood there in the middle of the room, staring at Jethro and Serah like I had walked into some kind of nightmare. "Is this why you brought me here?" My voice came out sharp, but inside my chest everything felt heavy and tight.
The guards had dragged me straight from the cold stone cell. I could still picture it clearly in my mind, the damp walls covered in green slime, the iron bars that smelled of rust and old blood, the tiny puddle of water in the corner that never dried. I had paced that small space for hours, feeling the weight of every insult Serah had thrown at me. Now they expected me to stand here and beg?
Jethro looked at me without any softness. "I said, apologize to Serah right now or risk being taken back to the dungeon."
