"Magic Card 'Pot of Greed', draw two more cards from the deck.
Then activate the Equip Magic 'True Love Hero' from my hand." The Supreme King said, "Equip it to 'Evil Hero Malicious Bane'."
"True Love Hero, the strongest Equip Card exclusive for heroes." Ed said solemnly, "Not only can you search any field from the deck, but it also greatly increases attack power.
If this effect takes place, Malicious Bane's attack power will soar to 6200, surpassing Slifer the Sky Dragon, restricted by the Enervating Mist!"
"But even so, it shouldn't be easy to attack." Manjome said, "As long as the combination of Jam Defender and Revival Jam is intact, the Supreme King can only attack the slime.
But no matter how many times Revival Jam is defeated, it will resurrect, and meanwhile, continue to increase Slifer's attack power..."
However, the Supreme King obviously had a strategy: "Flip Cover Card, Trap Card 'Karma Cut'!"
A trap card flips, and a powerful energy emerges, instantly shrouding the field above Youyu!
"Karma Cut, there's no need to explain this effect, right?" he said.
Youyu: "..."
"I discard a card from my hand." The Supreme King said coldly, "Remove 'Revival Jam' from the game!"
Karma Cut activates, dimensions twist. The invincible slime is sucked into the space rift, disappearing into the other side of the dimension without a trace.
"'Revival Jam' can only revive when destroyed." The Supreme King said, "Now, you can't use the slime for defense."
"By limiting hand size with 'Enervating Mist' and lowering Osiris's attack power, then using 'Karma Cut' to create a blind spot in this defense system..." Youyu smiled, "You've done quite well."
"I'm not your student." The Supreme King said, "Just the last opponent you'll face in life.
Enter the Battle Phase. At this moment, the effect of the Equip Magic 'True Love Hero' activates!"
The entire field suddenly begins to shake, seawater is pushed aside, a pitch-black castle rises from beneath the water, waves crashing against the firm dark walls.
Hellfire seems to evaporate the seawater, a bridge slowly rises, lightning illuminating the entire Dark Castle.
"Field Magic 'Supreme King Castle', activate from the deck!" The Supreme King said, "And at the moment a card appears in my field, 'Evil Hero Malicious Bane's attack power increases by its own defense power!"
[Evil Hero Malicious Bane, ATK 3200 → ATK 6200]
"Go, Malicious Bane!" The Supreme King's dark aura erupts again, "Shatter what you call a god for me!"
Malicious Bane stands once more, towering over, its body seemingly releasing boundless darkness, determined to engulf the entire Egyptian God!
"Flip Cover Card," Youyu snapped his fingers, "Trap Card 'Reckless Greed'. At the cost of skipping the next two Draw Phases, draw two cards from the deck."
Ed's eyes lit up, "If you draw a card, Osiris's attack power will surpass! Even if 'Enervating Mist' limits the hand size, the extra cards are only discarded at the end phase of your own turn!
And the Supreme King can no longer cancel the attack order..."
[Slifer the Sky Dragon, ATK 5000 → ATK 7000]
"Then during the Damage Calculation phase, the effect of the Field Magic 'Supreme King Castle' activates." The Supreme King didn't back down, "Once per turn, when a Fiend-Type monster battles an opponent's monster, by sending an 'Evil Hero' from the deck or extra deck to the graveyard, the monster's attack power increases."
The Supreme King revealed a card.
"From the extra deck, I send 'Evil Hero Dark Gaia' to the graveyard. Gaia's level is eight, hence 'Evil Hero Malicious Bane's attack power increases by 1600!"
[Evil Hero Malicious Bane, ATK 6200 → ATK 7800]
The attack power overtakes once more!
Malicious Bane's claws dragged a dark trace, slashing across the body of Slifer the Sky Dragon, the claws tearing the invulnerable hide of the Egyptian God, and the attack power of 7000 was still insufficient to withstand the blow from the Evil Hero, only letting out a low groan before slowly descending, dissipating into mist.
[Youyu LP 900 → LP 100]
"Damn it," Manjome squinted at the Supreme King, "Even a god isn't his opponent..."
"It's not over yet." The Supreme King waved dramatically, "Continuing the effect of the Equip Magic 'True Love Hero'! When a monster of the opponent is destroyed in battle, discard 'True Love Hero', and the equipped monster can attack once more!"
[Evil Hero Malicious Bane, ATK 7800 → ATK 4800]
"Master Youyu!"
"Principal Youyu!"
The two students couldn't help but exclaim in unison.
"This time it's really over!" The Supreme King waved, "Go, Malicious Bane, the final blow!"
The equip is discarded, and Malicious Bane flies into the air, its arms raised high as if bringing down a calamitous force from above!
Enveloped by overwhelming darkness, there was no evading!
No obstacle before him, Youyu looked up at the descending darkness akin to the judgment of death, with only a slight upward curl at the corner of his mouth.
"Being able to dismantle the perfect setup of Osiris, truly worthy of being the King dominating the Twelfth Dimension, I'll grant you some praise for now.
But..."
Youyu's expression turned somber, speaking softly.
"If you think that is the full extent of Divine Power, then perhaps you, honorable Supreme King, are a bit naive too."
Saying this, he made a grand gesture with his hand.
"Open Set Card, Continuous Trap——
——Ultimate Divine-Beast!!!"
The Continuous Trap flips, and suddenly lightning pierces the sky again! A terrifying blue radiance emerges from the face of the Trap Card, depicting a roaring red dragon, with its entire body wrapped in endless golden yellow currents!
The card image distinctly shows Slifer the Sky Dragon!
"Is that...a trap exclusive to the Sky Dragon?" Manjome raised his arm to block the sacred blue radiance before his eyes, involuntarily shocked in his heart.
Principal Youyu...actually has such a complete full set of Egyptian God support systems in his hand!
Could it be that Principal Youyu's previous matches with Teacher Kaiba's teaching...never used full strength yet?
Manjome's heart was in turmoil.
"The effect of 'Ultimate Divine-Beast' activates." Youyu declared, "The moment the opponent's monster declares an attack, discard a Magic or Trap Card from your hand, and Special Summon the Divine Beast-Type Monster from your graveyard in face-up Defense Position!"
He raised his arm high, hand open, invoking the great deity to penetrate from the Netherworld to reality!
"Slifer the Sky Dragon——Resurrect!!!"
The Netherworld is pierced, the red dragon soars out, its body twisting and turning in the air, Divine Power transformed into vivid lightning!
[Slifer the Sky Dragon, DEF 6000]
"At this moment, the effect of 'Card of Safe Return' activates." Youyu said, "The instant Osiris is resurrected, I draw three cards from the deck!"
[Slifer the Sky Dragon, DEF 6000 → DEF 9000]
"In this situation, you managed to summon Osiris again?" The Supreme King frowned slightly, "Then Battle Recall, the attack is terminated. I cancel Malicious Bane's attack command..."
"I'm sorry, that's not possible." Youyu pointed to the vividly depicted trap card of Slifer the Sky Dragon's image beside him, "Continuous Trap 'Ultimate Divine-Beast', follow-up effect!
When the Egyptian God is resurrected through this card's effect, the opponent is forced to attack the summoned Egyptian God!"
"What?" The Supreme King squinted his eyes.
[Slifer the Sky Dragon, DEF 9000]
[Evil Hero Malicious Bane, ATK 4800]
Once this attack goes through, it will directly reflect over four thousand battle damage!
God's Trap, a lethal counterattack!
