"Ultimate Divine-Beast... it even has traps exclusively for gods?"
Both Manjome and Ed expressed their newfound insights.
But now it's finally time to end this!
The attack of Malicious Bane cannot be stopped, he has no choice but to launch a desperate charge against the Divine Beast with a defense of nine thousand! Ultimately, he cannot avoid being countered by Slifer the Sky Dragon's divine power, which will mark the Supreme King's defeat at that moment.
The Supreme King has zero Set Cards in his back row, and most of the commonly used hand traps in the graveyard, like Necro Gardna, Kuriboh, Sphere Kuriboh, and Kiteroid, can only block attacks from the opponent.
There's almost nothing he can do to stop this suicidal charge from his own side!
The fate is almost sealed at this moment, with golden thunder swirling in the mouth of the sky dragon. The dazzling light in the dragon's maw is enough to obliterate Malicious Bane and the Supreme King in an instant!
Sparks jumped in the air.
Azure arcs danced between the enormous Divine Beast and Malicious Bane, electric snakes leaping forth. A powerful repulsion force suddenly pushed both sides apart.
Osiris roared in discontent, but the electric light in his mouth gradually dissipated.
Youyu furrowed his brow: "That is..."
"Activated the Quick-Play Magic 'Rescuer from the Grave' from the graveyard." The Supreme King showed a card being withdrawn from the graveyard, "By excluding this card and four others from the game, I can force the Battle Phase to end." (Anime card)
He revealed five cards grasped in his hand.
"I exclude 'Vicious Claw', 'Fusion Birth', 'Hero's Rule', 'Torrential Tribute', and 'Rescuer from the Grave' from the game to forcibly end the Battle Phase."
Youyu glanced at the Duel Disc display, which had already switched back to "Main Phase 2": "To have prepared such a backup plan... It's truly cautious of you, as a King."
"The feeling is mutual." The Supreme King's face remained expressionless, "Now, in Main Phase 2, I activate the Magic Card 'Card of Sanctity' from my hand, allowing both players to draw until they have six cards in hand from their decks."
After a pause, he glanced at Youyu.
"You already have nine cards, so naturally, you don't need to draw."
Then, with a grand gesture, he set three cards on the field and ended his turn.
With the announcement of "End Turn", Slifer's form behind Youyu began to fade, its roar seemingly vanishing into another dimension before gradually disappearing.
"The Special Summoned Slifer can only remain on the field for one turn, then must return to the graveyard during the End Phase."
Youyu took a deep breath.
"Next is my turn. However, due to the side effect of 'Reckless Greed', I must skip my Draw Phase."
But he didn't really need that one card right now.
"Activating the Quick-Play Magic 'Double Cyclone' from my hand!" Youyu announced, "Destroying the Magic and Trap Cards on both my and my opponent's fields."
I will destroy my Continuous Magic 'Infinite Cards' and your Set Card in the back row!"
A red and gold cyclone arose simultaneously, one shattering Youyu's continuous magic, and the other sweeping up the Supreme King's set card, tearing it to shreds.
In the storm, everyone could see what that card was.
The Trap Card 'Dimension Wall'.
"'Dimension Wall' is a Trap Card that lets the opponent take the battle damage," Manjome said, "It would have been dangerous if attacked recklessly... "
"With Youyu-sensei's Life Points at only 600, it would've been a one-hit kill trap." Ed also felt a chill.
Youyu shook his head.
Sigh, with such a significant Otherworldly King title, instead of printing a few more new 'Evil Hero' monsters, he always resorts to such sneaky stuff. Karma Cut and Dimension Wall, such decay in society...
Youyu continued, "I'll discard a card and activate the Magic Card 'A Feather of the Phoenix', returning a card from the graveyard to the top of the deck.
The card I'll return, of course, is 'Slifer the Sky Dragon'!"
The Divine Card was ejected from the graveyard, and Youyu smoothly slid it back to the top of the deck.
"Next, I activate the effect of 'Magicians' Souls' in my hand!" Youyu exclaimed, "I'll discard 'Magicians' Souls' from my hand to the graveyard, then send a Level 6 Spellcaster-Type monster from my deck to the graveyard.
After that, I can Special Summon 'Dark Magician' or 'Dark Magician Girl' from the graveyard!"
Youyu lifted his arm.
"Come back, Dark Magician Girl!"
A pink array unfolded, and the blonde magical girl appeared on the field for the third time.
The girl, who had been wiped out twice consecutively, cautiously peeked her little head out from the array, cautiously scanning left and right. If things didn't look good, she seemed ready to hastily retreat back into the graveyard.
After a tentative look affirming nothing seemed amiss, she promptly hopped out, adjusting her stance in front of her master.
"At this moment, 'Card of Safe Return' effect activates," Youyu declared, "Drawing three cards from the deck."
Watching the top three cards swiftly return to Youyu's hand, the Supreme King couldn't help but say in a low voice, "You really put that God back in your hand, huh..."
"Then, I'll Normal Summon 'Ra's Disciple' from my hand!"
A dark-skinned emissary, clad in a golden robe, appeared, distinctly themed on the Sun God's image.
[Ra's Disciple, Attack Power 1100]
"Ra's Disciple, effect activates!" Youyu drew out two cards popping from the deck, "Upon successful summon, I Special Summon two more 'Ra's Disciples' from the deck!"
[Ra's Disciple, Attack Power 1100] x2
"Next, I activate the Magic Card 'Double Summon' from my hand, granting an additional Normal Summon.
Using this effect, I sacrifice the three 'Ra's Disciples' on the field for a Tribute Summon!
Between the Netherworld and reality, amidst celestial lightning and chaos, return----
----Slifer the Sky Dragon, Summon!!!"
Lightning crackled, storms roared in the sky! A terrifying tornado shook the land, a colossal shadow descended from beyond the heavens, with the crimson divine dragon dominating the world!
Slifer the Sky Dragon has reappeared!
"Slifer's attack power is determined by the player's hand count," Youyu stated, "Currently, my hand count is five, so Slifer's attack power is five thousand!"
[Slifer the Sky Dragon, Attack Power 5000]
Youyu's gaze swept over the steadfast Malicious Bane and then at the massive fortress behind it.
In battle, Supreme King Castle can enhance Malicious Bane's attack power, calculated as the level of discarded 'Evil Hero' x200 points.
The highest level an Evil Hero can reach is eight, meaning a maximum attack boost of 1600 points.
Thus, Malicious Bane's actual attack power should be 4800, still 200 less than Slifer.
The Supreme King's Life Points remain at 200.
Checkmate.
"Battle." Youyu commanded, "Slifer the Sky Dragon, attack 'Evil Hero Malicious Bane'!"
