'Whoosh'.
Huh? I don't believe it!
I run, I chase!
'Whoosh'.
So this scene unfolds: a bearded strong man is bending down like he's picking mushrooms, while a green groundhog is speeding across the ground.
The two are playing hide and seek, the green shadow dashing everywhere, even drifting off walls and ceilings. Who's ever seen a 'corpse' like this?
And Gass has completely forgotten his original goal. All he can think about now is catching Garfield and stuffing those ten-year-old expired cookies into his mouth.
Of course, their untimely antics made the girls think they're even more childish.
Playing games on the battlefield, is it appropriate?
"Ah, if only I could act with the Justice League." Steel Armor sighed as she used her two-handed Warhammer to keep smashing Fish-Men's heads.
At least, even the most unreliable-looking Green Lantern Hero in the League wouldn't fool around with teammates on the battlefield, right?
Raven, expressionless, followed from behind with Magic in her hands, sarcastically remarked, "He rejected well. At first, I thought Beast Boy just wanted to find a girlfriend, but later found out he didn't just say it to me but to every girl he's met, asking them out. He's not only childish but also a jerk."
Donna charged at the forefront, enemies around her all decapitated or crushed with a Shield: "I haven't encountered it, but I think it's because he's afraid to mess with Amazonians. Actually, my niece Cassie was harassed by him."
"He mustn't have known Cassie is a Demigod, right? Soul Drain!"
Raven hurled the Magic from her hands, the black Magic particles wrapped around several enemies, directly pulling their souls out. She continued to mock.
"Hmm, he likely only realized after being punched into the ground by Cassie."
Donna smiled, Cassie is still young, not yet seventeen. Although her fighting skills are average, her strength and gear make her a tough match among her peers.
However, thinking of this, Donna suddenly felt she herself was aging, having transitioned from Teen Titans to Titans.
Currently, the Teen Titans are another squad, with Batman and Superman's sons in it, representing the true next generation.
"Anyway, I feel Titans are doomed since Nightwing left due to serious injuries."
Raven glanced at the two guys still playing hide and seek, sighed, and followed the two Female Warriors, finishing off the Fish-Men that weren't dead yet:
"Donna, can you help me talk to your sister about letting me join the Dark Justice League?"
"Wait, what if Nightwing comes back?" Steel Armor countered.
"Nightwing's injury is extremely severe, his brain damaged, even the Justice League is at a loss," Raven divulged the intel she knew, "He's awake now, and Midnite Strange Doctor fixed his external injuries with a dinner knife and a few toothpicks, but the brain, or soul, is beyond Doctor's capability."
"Huh? What exactly happened? Maybe I can think of a solution." Steel Armor, though not knowledgeable in medicine, firmly believes in the omnipotence of physics.
Donna pushed through the enemy lines, beginning to clear and scour the heavily injured Fish-Men; it was a secret operation.
Killing all informed is strict confidentiality, as taught by Deathstroke: "Nightwing suffers from amnesia or perhaps a soul disorder, believing himself to be a forty-year-old Arab and a taxi driver in Paris, France."
"Gasp..."
Steel Armor inhaled sharply; what's going on?
Raven added a few more lines, Xiaona clearly gasped prematurely:
"There's more: He now only speaks Arabic, with limited French language, making communication with us difficult... Upon seeing people in tight suits or masks, he becomes very frightened. When I cast Magic to investigate his condition, he cried and yelled I'm a Demon, using a pillow to drive me out of the ward."
In reality, Raven's Investigation Magic was successful, but the soul inside Nightwing's body is no longer the original. Such an occurrence, even she hasn't encountered before.
Donna nodded, indeed, like Rachel said, Nightwing no longer recognizes everyone.
"In summary, we can't determine if he's still the original him, or even ascertain whether he's a good person now."
This issue is more severe, Steel Armor merely pulled down the corner of her mouth, not mentioning her help anymore.
This matter frankly can't be helped by physics; electrotherapy on Nightwing isn't feasible, right?
We can only hope Nightwing regains his memories one day, but that day seems far off, considering even Batman is helpless, having handed over the Bat Clan's leadership to Barbara.
"So seeing the boys in the team like this, I've lost hope."
Raven adjusted her hood, covering her forehead, only exposing her big eyes in the cloak's shadow:
"Xiaona can go to the Science Squad, where the science maniacs are abundant, you'd love it there; I'll find other Warlocks in the Dark Justice League; Donna goes to the Justice League to seek mature and reliable allies; let's let Gass and Garfield play by themselves!"
But Donna knew Rachel's words were just venting; she actually still wanted to be with everyone. Otherwise, with her abilities, she could join the Dark Justice League.
Titans have the strongest Warlock among all squads. If only comparing Magic damage, Constantine and Zatanna are inferior to Rachel.
Raven once wiped out 3,000 Demon Army with one Magic spell, an accomplishment unmatched by other Justice League Warlocks.
However, Raven is still a young girl; sometimes she appears emotional, also very fond of making sarcastic remarks and pulling faces, particularly drawn to cold jokes.
"Why not? Should we hire someone to temporarily lead the team?"
Speaking of cold jokes, Donna recalled someone, the joke about making barbecue wings for Barry is indeed cold.
That man is a Tactical Master on par with Batman; able to defeat the complete form of Diana under strategic conditions, and seems to have extensive connections, knowing lots, Rachel would surely get along with him.
"Hire? Batman will never allow us to find outsiders." Raven stated, raising her small hands and curling her index and middle fingers to make quotation marks: "Anyone joining the Justice League or related squads must pass his 'assessment'."
"Not him, Batman can do nothing about him."
Donna remembered the many instances Deathstroke casually hung up on Batman's communication, Batman instead acting as a call-and-go employee.
And the hire relationship is precisely reversed.
Rachel was smart; she knew who it was. At the gathering, where almost burned by Witch Fire, she was present; last night, Trish and Night Shadow beat Witch Fire up, she was watching nearby.
Her eyes widened, scrutinizing Donna as if looking at a stranger.
"Are you crazy? Let Deathstroke lead Titans? Even if temporarily, that's absolutely impossible; I might really leave the team."
"Geez, he's not the old man we used to deal with, he's quite nice, a great Warrior, also quite mature."
Donna glanced at the two who were relegated far behind the team, and pursed her lips.
Rachel squinted; Donna seemed strange now, surely something happened that she's unaware of.
