"What's with that group of people?"
"Yeah, I thought that big sister would just be a background character at most, but she turned out to be a main force."
"The power of this thundercloud is insane. All the guards watching the area were knocked out cold."
The Franky Family whispered among themselves; they had struggled a lot earlier when they were blocked.
At this moment, Sandy jumped off Yokozuna's back and snapped at Sanji, "Stop being a lovesick fool and move! We need to catch up to Luffy!"
Chopper nodded quickly. "Right, right! But that gate is huge… how do we get inside?"
Zambai shouted proudly, "Straw Hat Pirates! Leave it to us—"
Sandy raised his hand. "Let me."
"Space Field…"
He drew his treasured sword, High Wind, and said dramatically, "In this mundane world, there is no door that cannot be opened. Open Sesame!!"
Clang! Clang!
Sandy slashed the massive iron gate twice. A perfect triangular chunk was cut out of the iron wall over a hundred meters tall.
"Space Transfer!"
The huge right-angled triangle pieces vanished instantly, teleported away.
Zoro's expression darkened. What the hell kind of ridiculous line was that? And why did Sandy sound like him earlier? Was this revenge?
Meanwhile, the shipwrights and Franky Family stared in disbelief. They had never seen a technique like this in their lives.
"Look, everyone! We can pass straight through without opening the gate!"
"How did he do that?! Where did the giant gate pieces go?!"
"That's not even the point! That door is so thick—can you even cut that with a sword!?"
Ignoring the chaos behind him, Sandy hopped back onto Yokozuna, and the group rushed through.
Usopp couldn't help complaining, "Open a door? That's not opening a door — that's cutting a door!"
Once inside, they found themselves in the guards' living quarter, buildings everywhere. But soon, another group of guards rushed in.
Sandy opened his mouth to deliver another dramatic line—but Usopp jumped forward first.
"Oh?" Zoro raised a brow. "You going?"
Sandy blinked. "Usopp? For real?"
Usopp adjusted his goggles. "How can I always let you guys do the fighting? Chopper."
"Oh!" Chopper transformed. "Arm Point!"
Usopp shouted, "Everyone, close your eyes! Sure-Kill — Flash Star!"
Before the guards reacted, an object appeared overhead and burst with blinding light. The guards were instantly dazzled.
While they were blinded, Chopper charged like a reindeer missile, knocking them down one after another. The guard formations were thrown into chaos.
"Oh—sugoi…"
"Is this the Straw Hat Pirates?! They're too strong!"
"Charge—!!"
But chaos was still just chaos. The guards were only scattered, not seriously injured. Once they recovered, they stood up again.
Zoro seized the moment.
"One sword splits the mountain… one sword cuts the sea… one sword cleaves the sky… Three-Sword Style Secret Technique — Three Thousand Worlds!!"
Sandy, on Yokozuna's back, widened his eyes. This shameless bastard! He totally stole the exaggerated naming style! This had to be revenge!
Sandy growled, "Sanji! It's our turn!"
"Huh?" Nami said. "Didn't you guys already handle everything?"
Barry stepped forward. "Straw Hat Pirates! Leave these ones to us! You guys keep moving!"
Sandy muttered darkly, "Aren't you all hungry? Ahem… look at all these hounds. Don't waste them."
Before he finished, Sanji was already cooking.
"..." Everyone.
Sandy added, "Sanji, roast mine and Luffy's first. Roast theirs later. Once it's done, I'll bring it to Luffy."
"..." Everyone.
After roasting seven or eight hounds, just as Sandy was about to carry them off to Luffy, another platoon of soldiers appeared.
Music suddenly blasted from the loudspeakers—dramatic, heroic background music echoing across the residential district.
Sandy lowered his head and slowly walked forward… then snapped his head up. A pale blue aura burst outward, covering all the guards.
Instantly, most of them dropped unconscious. Only a handful resisted the wave.
"What happened?! Why did all the guards faint?!"
"Who did that?! Are we seeing ghosts?!"
"No… it must be that guy walking in front…"
"No way! He didn't even do anything!!"
Hearing their bewildered whispers, Sandy felt deeply satisfied. Just as he prepared to go find Luffy, a Franky Family member shouted:
"Sleep God Sandy — who exactly are you?!"
Zoro turned his head away immediately. Sanji scoffed. Nami's eye twitched violently.
Sandy rose into the air like an idiot. "Who am I? Good question! Listen well! Riding the righteousness of heaven and earth!
Controlling the changes of the Six Qi! Roaming free and unfettered! I am carefree and at ease—Sleep God Sandy—HAHAHAHA!!"
"..." Everyone.
Meanwhile, elsewhere…
Luffy was alone on the island, using his rubber abilities to leap between buildings, making the guards chasing him dizzy.
In the CP9 lounge, no one believed that only "five casualties" existed on the island.
If pirates interfered with Robin and Franky's escort, CP9 would take full responsibility.
So Blueno used his Door-Door Fruit to intercept the intruders.
On a tall balcony, Blueno and Luffy met.
Luffy stood on the balcony, preparing to jump to the last building, when a distortion in the air appeared.
Luffy blinked. "What is that?"
"Air Door."
A door opened, and Blueno walked out.
Luffy pointed. "Ah! You're that bull guy who was with the pigeon man!"
Blueno ignored him. "The report seems… extremely different from the actual situation."
