Seeing Blueno appear in front of him, Luffy exclaimed, "How did you do that just now? That was amazing—was it magic? You scared me!"
Blueno said calmly, "I knew the casualties were more than five. Since the founding of the World Government, this is truly unprecedented—to allow someone like you to infiltrate this deeply."
Silence filled the air. After staring at each other for a moment, Luffy said, "Move, ox."
Blueno looked down at him. "How long do you plan to run wild?"
Luffy half-squatted, lowered his head with a smirk, then looked up. "Until I die."
The air fell silent again. Luffy added, "Robin is in the building behind you, right? Move, you dumb ox."
"It seems you still haven't realized," Blueno said. "This is a world-class crime you're committing."
Luffy blinked. "What are you trying to say?"
Blueno continued, "The World Government influences more than 170 nations across the seas. By invading this island—territory of the Government—you've made enemies of every one of those countries.
They will expose your wickedness to the world. With only a few dozen people… your power is insignificant."
Luffy said flatly, "I'm telling you to move."
Blueno replied, "Whether I move or not is irrelevant. I only want to tell you—ruffian pirate—that you have no future.
Fighting me is meaningless. You've already seen our Six Styles in Water 7. The difference in strength is obvious."
While Blueno rambled, Luffy warmed up on the side. By the time Blueno finished, Luffy was done stretching.
"You're right," Luffy said, cracking his knuckles. "But for some reason… I won't lose to you now. Gomu Gomu no…"
He extended his right arm in a spiral and dashed forward.
"Gum-Gum Whip!"
"Iron Body!"
Ptooey.
Blueno spat out blood. He truly didn't expect the attack power to jump so suddenly.
Before he could react—
"Gum-Gum Gatling!"
"Shave!"
Blueno flickered away, but even using high-speed movement, Luffy closed the distance.
Luffy's fist smashed into Blueno's jaw mid–Shave, sending him crashing into a nearby cylindrical building.
Rumble—!!
The massive impact shattered the structure, though Blueno—tough as an ox—wasn't severely injured. As he half-squatted, Luffy adjusted his hat.
"World Government, whatever. We came to take Robin back."
Blueno stood back up like nothing had happened. Truly CP9's indestructible ox.
Sandy, watching from afar, clicked his tongue. Damn impressive.
After another short staredown, Blueno made his move.
"Moon Step!"
He vanished, reappeared in the air, stepped along the sky, and moved into Luffy's blind spot.
"Storm Leg… Iron Body—Wheel!"
Blueno spun his leg like a rotating blade, slicing toward Luffy, but Luffy dodged each strike with nimble footwork.
"Door-Door."
Frustrated, Blueno switched strategies. Two doors opened beneath Luffy's feet, locking them in place when they closed.
Then, Blueno opened another door—on Luffy's face—twisting it around.
"WHAT!?" Luffy shouted. "My eyes! Why is everything spinning?! Stop it!"
Seeing an opening, Blueno launched—
"Storm Leg!"
The balcony corner split apart from the slash — but Luffy had already punched a hole through the floor and escaped.
He climbed back up through the hole and touched his face. "The door on my face closed."
Blueno nodded. "Naturally. A door that opens can also close. I didn't expect you to dodge my Storm Leg."
"It's nothing," Luffy said, brushing off dust. "You're not my opponent."
"Nani?" Blueno muttered.
Luffy crouched low, placing one hand on his thigh and the other upright along the inside.
"Second Gear!"
Steam billowed from his skin.
"Gear?" Blueno frowned. "Steam is coming out of you… imitating a steam engine? Are you trying to be mysterious? Did you lose your mind?"
"Heh."
Luffy stood up, extended his left hand toward Blueno, and clenched his right fist.
"Gomu Gomu no…"
Blueno said expressionlessly, "A long-distance attack? That only makes you easier to dodge. If you're brave, come at me—Shave!"
"Jet Pistol!"
Blueno, mid–Shave, was punched directly in the stomach.
A shockwave exploded outward—air bursting from the impact of Luffy's high-speed strike.
Blueno looked ahead—but Luffy was gone.
Bang!!
A blow slammed into his cheek and sent him flying. Before he recovered—another hit.
"Gum-Gum Whip!"
"Ugh—!"
Blueno tumbled through the air. Luffy appeared above him and struck his stomach again.
Blueno was stunned.
With veteran instincts, he fought through the pain, scanning desperately for Luffy.
Crack!
Another blow slammed into the back of his head. Blueno rolled into somersaults to regain his footing and crouched, searching wildly.
"Stamp!"
Luffy appeared behind him again, stomping Blueno's head into the floor.
Luffy didn't give him time to breathe.
"Again—Pistol!"
"Ughh!!" Blueno's eyes rolled up.
Luffy extended his arm mid-air, grabbing Blueno's two horn-like hair strands.
"Gum-Gum Rocket!"
Blueno became a ragdoll.
He couldn't see Luffy at all—only getting slammed again and again.
Knowing he couldn't evade, Blueno triggered his strongest defense.
"Gomu Gomu no…"
"Iron Body — Steel!"
"Jet Rocket Launcher!"
Blueno falls.
