Seeing everyone staring at him with wide eyes, Jabura felt extremely awkward. That reaction earlier was purely instinct!
But Jabura, who had eaten the Dog-Dog Fruit, Model: Wolf, also inherited a wolf's cunning. In an instant, he figured out a way to cover up the embarrassment.
Jabura tossed the meat aside, scratched his head, and chuckled.
"Actually, I was just playing with them, Kaku."
Kaku sighed, "It was obvious from the start. I really can't believe you mistook yourself for a dog…"
Sanji exhaled, "The world really is full of wonders. Today I've seen one."
Jabura ignored Sanji's mockery, but he was furious at Kaku for not giving him any face at all.
"I hate that about you, Kaku!"
Kaku replied calmly, "Think whatever you want. The Buster Call has already been activated. We should settle things quickly."
Zoro drew his three swords again and stepped forward.
"Settle things? The chance to beat me like earlier won't come again. Sandy, you and Nami go on ahead. Leave this place to me."
Sandy waved, "Alright. Nami, Chopper, let's go—"
Wanting to leave?
Jabura hadn't forgotten how Sandy's earlier move insulted him.
"Ten Finger Gun!"
He lunged—but halfway through, Sanji intercepted him with a kick.
Bang!
Jabura's head snapped aside, while Sandy and the others continued walking. Usopp suddenly stopped, a strange thought crossing his mind.
"Wait for me!"
Usopp hurried over, snapped a few small leafy branches, and tossed them right beside Kaku.
"…"
Kaku twitched.
"Damn you!" Kaku growled and slashed.
"Storm Leg: Line!"
Clang!
Zoro blocked the strike.
Usopp trembled, "That was terrifying!!"
Nami snapped, "What the hell are you doing? Zoro, Sanji—handle this! We're going!"
Jabura, rubbing his cheek as the smoke cleared, growled, "Who the hell was that!"
Sanji relit his cigarette, posed coolly, and answered, "A hunter."
"Heh heh." Jabura smirked. "Switching opponents? Fine by me. Howl…"
"Shave!"
Jabura vanished.
"Iron Body Fist Style—Wolf Bullet!"
Sanji leaped and blocked the strike with a kick, but was launched backward into the building, flying right past Sandy.
Sandy frowned, "Sanji, you're only cool for like three seconds!"
Jabura laughed loudly from outside.
"A pretty capable hunter… only good with his mouth!"
He stepped into the building after Sanji.
Usopp shouted, "Sanji, are you okay!?"
Nami rolled her eyes.
"Sanji is fine. Let's hurry and save Robin."
Sandy nodded, "I still have to bring some meat to Luffy. That guy's fighting a life-or-death battle with a leopard."
Jabura licked his lips.
"You're way too relaxed. Iron Body Fist Style—"
Again, midway through his attack, Sanji suddenly reappeared and kicked Jabura in the face.
Jabura almost coughed up blood from rage alone.
Sandy kept moving, muttering regretfully, "That wolf looked kinda fun to kick. I wanted a turn, but that bastard Sanji…"
Zoro rushed Kaku, and Sanji resumed fighting Jabura.
Jabura, rubbing his face again, growled, "You've got guts! Ten Finger Gun!"
Sanji dodged, appearing behind him.
"Veal Shot!"
Jabura steadied himself with one hand on the floor.
"Useless idiot."
Sanji replied, calm as ever, "Your Iron Body techniques are seriously annoying."
They clashed several times before Jabura suddenly changed his tone.
"A man like you is truly admirable. I've been waiting for someone like you."
Sanji's eyes narrowed.
"Hm?"
Jabura dropped a key.
"Help me save Robin."
"Huh? What are you talking about?"
Jabura placed a hand over his heart, speaking with dramatic seriousness.
"I never told anyone… Robin is actually my biological little sister."
Sanji froze, "WHAT!? Is that true!? She never mentioned that!!"
Jabura nodded gravely.
"You can't blame her. Twenty years ago, in the West Blue… a beautiful summer… Robin and I were playing on the beach… siblings who loved each other deeply… until pirates appeared…"
He continued spinning a dramatic, emotional story, acting like a tragic movie protagonist.
Sanji nearly facepalmed internally.
Why is he acting exactly like a certain bastard I know…?
Still, Sanji walked toward the key.
"Alright. Leave it to me. I'll take the key and save Robin."
(Not like we even need the key, but whatever—if this wolf wants to act, sure.)
The moment Sanji reached down for the key—
Jabura attacked.
But Sanji's upward kick sent Jabura's head smashing into the ceiling.
Sanji chuckled, "Robin is your sister? Idiot. Don't brag if you can't commit. Compared to a certain someone, you're way behind."
Jabura fell back down, dizzy and miserable.
Sanji tossed the key lightly.
"Had enough yet, Mr. Wolf?"
Jabura shouted, "You bastard! You actually took the key—"
"Didn't you give it to me?"
"Bastard!! Iron Body!"
Sanji turned and ran.
"Bye bye."
"STOP! Deceiving people is MY specialty! Don't look down on me! Shave!!"
Jabura rushed in—only to get kicked square in the nose again.
Before he could react:
"Party Table…"
"Iron Body Fist Style! Huh?"
It was a feint.
Sanji appeared behind him.
"Tenderizer!"
"Skewer Kick!"
Jabura dodged the heavy blow.
"Damn it! I'm pissed!"
He roared, "I'll show you the true power of Iron Body Fist Style!"
Sanji began spinning in place.
Jabura blinked, "What are you spinning for? Why's your leg turning red?"
Sanji lifted his blazing leg.
"Diable Jambe. A leg heated like a demon. My speed and attack power increase."
A flash of scorching light hit Jabura.
"SO HOT!! UWAAH—"
"Its attack power is demonic."
Jabura was blasted away, rolling on the ground.
"So hot!! It burned through Iron Body! My bones—!! Damn it—!!"
Still, as expected of CP9, he endured. He leapt up.
"My opponent is a Rokushiki user, and yet you dare face me in mid-air!"
He jumped.
"Diable Jambe: Veal Shot!"
"Moonwalk!"
Jabura dodged and appeared above Sanji.
"Too arrogant! I'll finish it here! Moonlight Ten Finger Gun!"
Sanji struck one of Jabura's hands aside, leaving only one hand coming toward him.
Jabura laughed.
"You blocked one hand, so what? You can't block both—"
Sanji smirked, "No need. My other leg is reserved… to finish you. Diable Jambe…"
"Ah!? Wait wait wait—!!"
"Finishing Kick!"
This time, the blazing high-temperature strike smashed into Jabura's face, severely injuring him.
Sanji won.
