Rhaegar was laughing and drinking while Leaf also seemed more relaxed. The Child of the Forest realized that humans were not as bloodthirsty as the men Beyond the Wall. Although there were some looks of distrust and even disgust, it was a minority. Most were curious about her and showed no animosity.
Remembering Brynden's words, that hatred can be forgotten over time, Leaf truly saw this firsthand. Unlike her, who had hundreds of years of life, human life was truly short.
The gigantic war that happened almost ten thousand years ago seemed to have been forgotten by humans, but for the Children of the Forest, the war was still a fresh concept in the mind of her race. After all, she herself had pierced the Night King's chest with the sacred dagger.
(Note: according to Wiki, Leaf is about eleven thousand years old. It seems Viserys will have to clear the cobwebs from Leaf's tunnel HAHAHAHA!!!)
"Lady Leaf, I presume you wanted something from me." Taking a sip of wine, Rhaegar asked with a gentle smile, his gaze couldn't be deeper at that moment. He looked at the human creature beside him with narrowed eyes.
"As Your Grace said, we really need help." Leaf, despite being over ten thousand years old, didn't seem fit for politics, as she went straight to the point. Rhaegar's lips curved into an even gentler smile seeing her political incapacity.
'Sorry Leaf, but remember that humans are especially treacherous.' Rhaegar thought with a deep gaze.
When Rhaegar was about to ask more about the matter, he heard Cadmus's voice beside him. "I think it's better to discuss this in private."
Rhaegar looked at Cadmus and frowned, but seeing the solemn look on the wizard's face, the king changed his expression and became calm, he nodded and looked at Leaf again. "Let's put this aside for a moment, we are at my sister's wedding."
Leaf was surprised, but looking at Daenerys and Cadmus, she nodded, although she was reluctant to stop such an important conversation because of a marital bond.
When the Banquet was at its peak, Cadmus stood up and, in an instant, apparated before everyone. He reappeared thirty seconds later, but this time, he had two more people with him, both women.
Rhaella and Kinvara.
"Mother!" Daenerys hugged her mother with a big smile on her lips.
"My girl is getting married, I still remember when I held you in my arms on that stormy night." Rhaella hugged Daenerys and said with a soft and emotional tone. She still remembered the baby wrapped in her arms while thunder roared in the sky.
Daenerys laughed and looked at Kinvara and said with a soft tone. "I will leave my wedding in your hands, Lady Kinvara."
"It will be an honor, my princess." Kinvara spoke with a respectful tone and remembered the conversation she had with Cadmus, the way he wanted her to speak and how to act during the ceremony.
Cadmus looked at the scene and smiled with satisfaction. He drew his wand and with a flick of his wrist, the environment began to change drastically. To the shocked and surprised eyes of everyone, the entire Hall of a Hundred Hearths began to change.
Festive themes of gold and red appeared on the walls and ceilings. The coats of arms of House Targaryen and House Peverell mingled, forming a single coat of arms. Each occupying one side of the shield. The Phoenix and the Dragon.
Cadmus didn't stop and flames appeared in the air, transforming into fire petals and floating in the air with a fascinating and beautiful grace. Red roses appeared on the floor, painting the entire floor with petals. The candelabras flew around in order and magically.
The music, which seemed to come from the air, changed drastically, becoming an elegant and noble tune.
(Note: You know how expensive wedding roses are? It's insane how overpriced these plants are.)
Daenerys opened her mouth as she watched with fascination Cadmus act like a god, changing the world around him like a child playing with sand.
"I will wait for you at the altar, my love." Cadmus turned to Daenerys and said with a soft tone. Although marriage was not a dream of his, he knew that women loved this kind of occasion, so he didn't mind making this day unforgettable for Daenerys.
Daenerys bit her lips and suppressed the urge to jump on Cadmus and kiss him, she was dragged by Rhaella and Rhaegar accompanied, after all, without Aerys, as the older brother, he should give Daenerys away at the altar.
Cadmus moved the main table and stood on the platform, where the two thrones could be seen. One silver and one gold.
Kinvara was beside him, with her hands on her belly as she looked at the Hall of a Hundred Hearths with a touch of emotion. "You know how to win a woman's heart, Cadmus." Said the Red Priestess.
She didn't lie, even having five hundred years of life, she felt moved by everything that was happening. Not that there were men who loved their spouses so much, but few could truly impress her.
The guests, who were still shocked by the turn of events, finally realized they were at a wedding and stood up. Everyone focused on the two figures near the thrones. There was a touch of fear in their eyes.
They personally saw Cadmus changing the world as if it were nothing. If that didn't impress them and make them afraid, they might as well be declared the bravest warriors of Westeros.
Suddenly, the music changed again, becoming something more sacred and full of beats, the doors opened and Daenerys accompanied by Rhaegar and Rhaella, along with a dozen servants, walked on the carpet of red roses.
Over Daenerys's head and shoulders and back was a red cloak with the Targaryen House sigil.
Seeing Daenerys, Cadmus's eyes were fixed on her. Even if she hadn't changed her clothes, for some reason, she seemed ten times more beautiful. Was it the magic of the wedding? Cadmus didn't know, he only knew that his heart was beating faster.
The entourage finally reached the steps and ascended towards the thrones, where they stood facing Cadmus and Kinvara.
Rhaegar took the golden cloak, which had the Peverell House sigil, the Phoenix, and removed the Targaryen House cloak.
"As my ancestors before me, I give my blood to you and we will become family." Seeing Daenerys wearing the Peverell House cloak, Rhaegar turned to Cadmus and said with a solemn tone. "Take good care of her or when my dragon grows, I will burn this castle again."
Cadmus's lips curved into an amused smile, he wanted to see if his barrier would withstand the weight and power of a dragon the size of Balerion, the Black Dread.
"Don't worry, I will treat her as the most important thing to me." Cadmus said with a solemn and serious tone.
Rhaegar showed a satisfied look and stepped aside, standing next to Viserys, who looked like he was about to cry at any moment.
"Why are you crying?" Rhaegar asked with a confused tone to Viserys.
"I'm ashamed to be the last to marry, they'll call me a bachelor now." Viserys said with a sad tone. Although it was just his imagination, he felt that everyone looked at him with contempt.
Rhaegar rolled his eyes and ignored his stupid brother.
Taking a step forward, Kinvara took Daenerys's hands and Cadmus's hands. Her voice spread throughout the hall.
"Dear brothers and sisters, we are gathered here to witness the union of Daenerys and Cadmus in this beautiful union of two souls.
Marriage is an alliance of love and fidelity, instituted so that man and woman give themselves to each other, promising to live together in joy and sorrow, in sickness and in health, all the days of their lives."
"Daenerys and Cadmus, have you come here to unite in marriage of your own free will?"
Daenerys and Cadmus looked at each other and answered at the same time.
"Yes."
"Do you promise to love and respect each other all your lives?"
Again, both answered firmly.
"Yes."
"Do you promise to lovingly welcome the children that the Red God entrusts to you and educate them in faith and justice?"
For the third time, both answered solemnly.
"Yes."
Kinvara showed a satisfied look and looked at Cadmus, waiting for his moment.
To Daenerys's surprised eyes, Cadmus held her hands and looked directly into her eyes.
"I, Cadmus, take you, Daenerys, as my wife,
and I promise to be faithful to you,
to love and respect you,
in joy and in sorrow,
in sickness and in health,
all the days of our lives."
Daenerys felt her eyes welling up, but she promised not to cry at that moment and repeated with a choked voice, but full of determination.
"I, Daenerys, take you, Cadmus, as my husband,
and I promise to be faithful to you,
to love and respect you,
in joy and in sorrow,
in sickness and in health,
all the days of our lives."
Kinvara couldn't help but click her tongue in admiration. Once the details of this wedding were known across the continent, she could imagine that all women would want a ceremony like this.
Putting those thoughts aside, Kinvara looked at Cadmus and Daenerys and spoke with an extremely solemn and fanatical tone.
"I declare you husband and wife. What R'hllor has joined, man cannot separate."
The lords began to applaud as they looked at the couple who seemed to be bathed in the sacred glow of the gods with emotion.
Daenerys looked at Cadmus with a warm gaze and whispered to him. "I swear, you won't be able to get out of bed the next day."
Rhaegar couldn't help but be speechless, he felt he had exaggerated and made Daenerys's lust explode completely!!!
