Cell gathered all his energy and fired a full-strength Kamehameha at Goku in one breath.
Even facing the perfect attack, Goku remained perfectly calm. This level of power wasn't enough to faze him.
Even if Cell had been a hundred times stronger, Goku would still be unshaken.
With the Super Saiyan 4 energy pool buried deep inside, Goku had reserves that Cell could never hope to reach.
Cell watched as Goku stood firm, unfazed, and a twitch appeared at the corner of his mouth.
There must be a limit to looking down on others!
Goku simply didn't take him seriously. And Cell, being constantly belittled like this, could feel his frustration boiling.
The strongest android, yet powerless to impress the Saiyan warrior before him.
Just as Cell's Kamehameha neared, Goku's eyes sharpened.
In a flash, he kicked the massive energy wave, unleashing a burst of his own energy.
The Kamehameha was deflected, flying beyond the atmosphere before exploding in outer space. The light illuminated half the Earth.
Cell staggered back, horror etched on his face. "Goku… who are you? Why is your strength a bottomless pit?"
With every display of Goku's power, Cell's understanding of limits shattered further.

Krillin cheered, unable to contain his excitement. "Goku! Even Cell's full-strength Kamehameha couldn't touch you!"
"Exactly! That's Goku!" Yamcha added, eyes wide in admiration.
Tien Shinhan smiled. "There's nothing Goku can't do. I just don't know where the limits are."
Son Gohan's eyes sparkled. "Dad… you're incredible!"
Piccolo shook his head in amazement. "How did Goku train? His strength seems limitless."

Vegeta was speechless, jaw wide open.
He had expected Goku to expend at least some energy deflecting the attack. Yet Goku hadn't even shown a hint of strain.
Vegeta's mind raced. If Goku can do this so easily, his power must far surpass Cell's. There's no other explanation.
Indeed, Goku had tapped into the energy pool of Super Saiyan 2 in an instant.
Even Super Saiyan 1 alone could not have deflected Lightning Cell's attack with such ease.
Even Number 16 stared in disbelief. "I can't calculate the power Goku just unleashed. He's terrifying. These androids were designed to destroy him? Impossible!"

Goku crossed his arms, calmly watching Cell retreat in fear.
To him, Lightning Cell's current strength might be comparable to Majin Buu when he first appeared.
Yet Goku had mastered techniques far beyond this, including Super Saiyan 3—and of course, Super Saiyan 4 remained his ultimate trump card.
Cell broke out in cold sweat, panic spreading through his body. He had felt true fear, and he never expected to feel it again.
Finally, trembling, he begged. "I was wrong, Goku! Please… forgive me! Don't kill me! I'll be your subordinate!"
He didn't care about pride or face—survival alone drove him.
Goku shook his head, sarcastically dismissing him. "I don't need a waste like you, Cell."
Cell froze, disbelief written all over his face. "Why not? My strength far surpasses anyone here! I could be your most powerful subordinate!" He gestured toward the Z Warriors—Piccolo, Vegeta, Tien Shinhan, and the others.
But even this plea did nothing to sway Goku.
