Chapter 485 - Chapter 482 I Will Absolutely Not Finish It!

"Sally, the eldest daughter of the Brewster family, is twenty four years old this year, a level seven mage, and she's…not bad looking, though of course, she's still a bit less attractive than me." After Amy walked away with the Ugly Duckling, Bluer also subtly sized up Sally.

He had read a lot of information about Sally, all of which was given to him by Engelwey. It was detailed, even including the story of Sally falling into the river while fishing with Princess Irina when she was seven years old. It seemed that the Bebili family had gone to great lengths to obtain this information.

"I'm not here for a blind date. Life is already so short, why waste time on romance? Of course, I'm going to dedicate my life to the great cause of liberating the Elven race." Bluer smiled and looked at Sally, thinking to himself, "If Engelwey knew I was here to recruit people to join me, I wonder if he'd be furious."

After a long wait, Bluer finally got an empty seat. He glanced at the three hideous demons sitting at the table and hesitated.

"Miss Cheryl, perhaps we should wait a little longer? There will definitely be two empty seats soon." Constantine said hastily, glancing at the three demons. He didn't want such a beautiful young lady to sit at the same table with three hideous demons, especially since the demons had only just sat down and hadn't ordered yet. If Bluer sat there, he wouldn't have a chance to sit with her.

Yabemia noticed Bluer's hesitation, it was normal for young ladies to have such concerns. She smiled and said, "Guest, please wait a moment, new seats will be available shortly."

"No need, I'll just sit there." Bluer walked straight to the table where the three demons were sitting, pulled out the empty chair, and sat down.

Constantine opened his mouth, looking at Bluer already seated, and sighed inwardly with a touch of helplessness. This was the first time he had been so decisively rejected by a woman, this feeling of defeat was truly unfamiliar.

"This must be Miss Cheryl's test for me! I absolutely cannot give up like this!" But Constantine quickly regained his fighting spirit. Seeing an empty seat at the table next to Bluer, he hurried over and sat down.

The three demons simultaneously turned to look at Bluer. Their tall, imposing figures, clad in somewhat tattered black armor, were quite intimidating.

Bluer looked at them calmly, his gaze unwavering, showing no fear whatsoever.

The three demons, somewhat bored, withdrew their gaze. One of them raised his hand and said, "I want three Rou Jia Mo, one serving of Braised Chicken Rice, and just give me three bowls of rice."

"Me too." the other two demons said almost simultaneously.

"Okay, please wait a moment. What would you like to order, guest?" Yabemia smiled and nodded, then looked at Bluer and asked.

"Let me look at the menu first." Bluer nodded slightly. He quite liked this half-dragon girl whose smile was very pleasant, but when it came to food, he was extremely picky.

Men also need to take care of themselves, otherwise they cannot maintain their peak appearance. Managing their physique is a very important part of this. Therefore, how much food he eats everyday and the proportion of various foods he consumes are things that Bluer cares about very much. He even measures his food intake down to the grain, not allowing even one extra grain.

"I've heard that human food is quite oily, so I'll just order a little bit as a token. I'll eat again when I get back." Bluer thought to himself, then opened the menu, his eyes lighting up immediately.

The menu's inner pages surprised him, each dish was accompanied by a picture, and each picture was so lifelike, almost real.

What surprised him even more was that, despite seeing these dishes for the first time, but he felt his mouth water. Whether it was the rainbow-colored Yang Zhou Fried Rice, the braised chicken coated in rich broth, or the tender white tofu pudding, each dish looked incredibly unique and tempting.

The air was filled with various wonderful aromas. Looking at these pictures, Bluer, who had only eaten two small fruits for breakfast, suddenly felt his stomach rumbling.

"Calm down! Calm down! Don't let a few pictures cloud your judgment. The dishes that are served might be completely different from the pictures! Besides, human tastes are definitely different from ours as elves." Bluer told himself in his mind, then gestured for Yabemia to come over and asked with a smile, "For elves, what dishes on this menu do you think would suit our tastes? I prefer lighter food."

"Every dish in the restaurant is delicious, but guest, if you'd like something a little lighter, I recommend Yang Zhou Fried Rice and Braised Chicken Rice for your main course, and tofu pudding and ice cream for dessert. These are all light and refreshing options." Yabemia said with a smile, offering suggestions based on Sally's preferences.

"Then I'll have a serving of Yang Zhou Fried Rice." Bluer said after a moment's thought, nodding slightly. The Braised Chicken Rice looked a bit sticky and oily.

"Sister Cheryl, the rainbow fried rice is super delicious. If you only order one serving, it won't be enough." Amy had somehow wandered over to the table and said earnestly.

"I have a small appetite, I can't even finish one serving." Bluer shook his head. If it were the portion size in the picture, he estimated half a serving would be enough, not a single grain more.

"Really? I've never seen a customer leave anything uneaten." Amy looked at Bluer, her little face full of disbelief.

"Little Amy, you'll see in a moment. I, Cheryl, will absolutely not finish it! Because if I finish it, I'll definitely gain weight, and that's something I can't tolerate." Bluer said to Amy with conviction. He was actually being doubted by a little girl, so he had to show his attitude. He didn't believe that any human food could make him give up his pursuits and dreams.

"Okay, I'll keep an eye on it. I believe you'll finish it." Amy nodded, equally confident. She had complete faith in the food her father made.

"One serving of Yang Zhou Fried Rice, please wait a moment." Yabemia nodded and turned to walk towards the kitchen.

Bluer looked around, somewhat surprised. He had expected that a restaurant with people of all races would be noisy and full of conflicts, but the situation was quite the opposite. The guests were all focused on enjoying their food, and those who knew each other were talking in hushed tones, with no shouting or yelling.

At least, the three demons at his table were whispering about where to take a nap at noon, and their armor looked like it had another hole in it. This was the first time Bluer had ever seen anything like it.

"Your Yang Zhou Fried Rice, please enjoy." Yabemia gently placed a serving of Yang Zhou Fried Rice in front of Bluer and smiled.
