Two months went by quickly with Orsted growing more comfortable with his life in this world.
While being capable of doing multiple bounty missions a day, Orsted still refrained by doing a single mission everyday for the past two months - which spread his fame throughout Banan.
His name was most definitely spread through the other city-states too, but it wasn't prominent.
Dragon god Orsted, it was a name known by everyone in Banan now. Many Lizard men who fought with him, began zealously spreading his name too.
In his free time, Orsted mostly stayed in his new house, experimenting with magic and knowledge he acquired from his template.
He focused on a particular aspect of knowledge recently - magical equipment. Orsted possessed comprehensive experience in making magic equipment too. Though it wasn't very advanced, he decided to run experiments with it.
Was it possible to make magic equipment in the world of 'Re:zero'?
Orsted found the answer to be yes.
The only problem was the material required, substitute material was to be found for every blueprint he had in his mind.
Most of Orsted's experimental materials were acquired through Crane right now.
'Even after spending almost half of my profits earned throughout these two months, I could only make a single functional piece of equipment.' Orsted stared at the simple bracelet on his wrist.
Though aesthetically not very pleasing, it was the best equipment he could make right at the moment. It had only two functions, one was a presence obscuring and scent swap. The second was [Rock cannon] - not just a bullet.
It was an upgraded version of [Rock bullet].
Orsted could use both this function instantly after pouring his mana into the bracelet.
The past two months were quite eventful for Orsted, beside hunting bandits, he had killed dangerous witchbeast, wanted criminals and even corrupted merchants.
While doing so, he had come to like sword god style the most among all three of his sword techniques. It provided the most firepower compared to the other techniques.
The original Orsted mostly used water god style due to its lower mana consumption, however, Heil liked sword god style more in the end, with his mana recovery problem solved.
'It's time for me to start preparing for my plans with Zarestia.'
With a lot of time in his hand, in the past two months, Orsted had gone through extensive brainstorming on how he should conquer Zarestia. The more he thought about her, the more obsessed he grew with her.
It was a bizarre experience, Orsted didn't mind dying a few times and going through time loops if he could perfectly conquer her. She was his golden key to break through his current fame too.
'It would be good if I could succeed at my first try. To that goal, first I need to enhance my strength for stability.'
Orsted had grown quite a bit stronger than his past self. The Arcane dragon slayer magic refined his physique further and going through multiple battles increased his experience.
The only prominent change in his appearance from using dragon slayer magic was - that the dragon scales on his cheek grew slightly blacker.

Dragon battle aura - a core part for all his sword techniques and physical strength. Once it awakened, Orsted was confident that he could match the current old Wilhelm physically.
Prime Wilhelm wouldn't be that far off either, though there might still be a slight gap in their techniques.
Saint level attainment would be required to get past Wilhelm's immense experience with sword.
'It can't be helped.' Orsted activated his most versatile ability - [Rewrite] and burnt 100 years of his lifespan onto the template. Even then, profit wise, he might have gained more lifespan while upgrading his template.

At this moment, Orsted stepped into the next level. If before he was slightly capable, now he was a step closer to catching up to the monsters of this world.

Orsted had grown used to the frightened gazes, just as much as the citizens had grown used to his presence here.
In the past two months, Orsted was sought out by few of the merchants too. He discreetly refused their offers of recruitment in the end.
It was surprising seeing the merchants speak normally with him, even while affected by the [Dragon tribe's curse].
'Those merchants really aren't to be underestimated…'
