It took almost the entire day of drilling to create a sizable cavern beneath Marcus' villa, which is built on the edge overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
The Emperor bought this house the moment he saw it. He almost commented out loud on how similar it looked to Tony Stark's place.
Now he has a cavern dug out underneath it. Thankfully, it won't take long for him to have his workshop installed. The spaceships that took out rocks now began to bring in construction materials.
"Are you building a villain's hidden base?" Wang Liu Mei poked her head when she realised what was going on.
"No, it's one of his favourite pastimes." Another voice said from behind her.
"Oh… you are…"
"Marrybell mel Britannia." The woman introduced herself. She looked at the Heiress.
"And you are the seventh." The Princess pointed out.
"...What does that even mean?" The Heiress looked confused.
"Please, don't pretend." The brown-haired princess rolled her eyes at her.
"You are the seventh woman of his."
'Oh wow, she is jealous… wait. Isn't she his sister?' Wang Liu Mei was a bit spooked.
"...Yes, you must be his sister, right?" Wang Liu Mei tried to 'fish' for information. The moment she mentioned 'sister', there was a wild reaction to that.
"...Yes… If you haven't noticed yet. I am the Minister of the World's Economy. A new position that makes me responsible for the world's economy."
In fact, Marrybell was very pleased with this position; she could show Marcus that she is fit for high positions like this.
Sure, in the Holy Byzantine Empire, she is part of information control and holds a high position in A.S.P., but this is a far more open position, and she can flex her abilities in front of everyone.
"Yes, I've been following the news. Though I expected that Marcus would position his family close to himself." Wang Liu Mei smiled, making Marrybell frown.
"...But anyway, what do you mean by him digging underground?" The Heiress asked her.
"He has done this in every place he calls home. Back in Constantinople, his Base in Solomon Islands and even when he was in the Academy, according to Milly."
"...Oh, I see. So he sees this place as important." Wang Liu Mei liked that.
"Of course, I am certain that he doesn't like to live in Palaces; we can often find him in his Tropical retreat in the Solomon Islands as well."
"I see, I see." The girl is building her 'operation' manual with all of this information.
Midway Marrybell frowned as she realised she was feeding an enemy with vital data.
"Regardless, now that conquest is complete and we are consolidating power, I wonder how long we will stay here?" Wang Liu Mei asked the Princess. She wanted to know how long they would stay here. After all, she wants to live in another reality and away from the world where her family name exists.
"I do not know our Emperor's plans… we do what he desires."
'Oh, she has it bad for him. Damn… when one's charm is so strong that even siblings fall in love with him. I am… Impressed and terrified at the same time.'
"That is true."
The pair and Princess' Shadow, her bodyguard, walked into the cavern. There was a temporary platform for planes installed that led to the outside.
This platform is the delivery spot for the resources, as several types of Legion construction bots have arrived and begun to set up walls and, most importantly, power units and recharging platforms.
"Oh… so bright… is that… a sun?" Wang Liu Mei rushed over when she saw a red star in a container, illuminating the cavern with its red glow.
"This is a portable reactor that we use for rapid deployments.
While not as powerful in military bases thanks to its size, it's more than enough to power a modern city."
"..a city!? That more than enough!"
What kind of measurement does this girl use?
"What she means is that the ones in Constantinople and Solomon's base can power entire nations. So what you are looking at is quite weak." A new voice said as Wang Liu Mei turned around to see a pinkette in an office suit. It was the same with Marrybell, who was in an office suit.
"...You are that news reporter…"
"I was, now I am part of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, not for long though, foreign affairs is a temporary job, I will ask Lulu to transfer me back to Internal Affairs once there are no other nations around us."
"...Lulu?"
"Childhood nickname, I am Euphemia li Britannia." She winked a bit while introducing herself.
'Another sibling, but…'
That friendly smile is a bit… terrifying… the overly friendly ones can be the most dangerous.
"Wang Liu Mei." The Heiress introduced herself.
"Yes, I heard you are the seventh one." Euphemia bluntly 'numbered' her.
'Again with the number.'
"I heard that there could be a eighth one." Euphemia dropped the bombshell, causing Marybell to snap her gaze at her.
"Who?" The Brown-Haired Princess asked with narrowed eyes.
"A Princess."
The reply caused the Minister of Economy to swear under her breath.
"But since she is the Princess of the country, she won't leave her place that easily," Marrybell replied to her half-sister.
"...maybe, you will never know how much she has fallen for him." Euphemia wasn't that easily convinced. Last time something like that happened, they got a blonde woman to worm her way into becoming Empress and hold one of the most important positions in the whole Empire!
"..."
'These two…' In the end, she looked at the sun spinning in a container. It was something else, like a sun in one's palm.
"Euphie, Marry? You two are finally here."
The pair of girls perked up when they heard HIS voice.
"Lulu!" Euphemia dashed over and flew into Marcus's hands.
'Yep, and she probably has the worst of it.' Wang Liu Mei's fears have been confirmed as she witnessed a sister having certain feelings for her brother.
"Euphemia, behave, not in front of other people." Marrybell, with a sigh, walked over to Marcus; she smiled nonetheless whe she got close to him.
"I do have to congratulate you on a splendid victory over Celestial Being."
Marcus snorted at that comment.
"I was never in doubt that I would be successful; it was after all an organisation and not another nation."
"That is true. What are your plans now?" Marrybell nodded as she tried to ignore Euphemia, cuddling in his hands.
"I do have plans. Several of them."
He smiled at the girl in his hands before looking at Marrybell quite seriously.
"Though all of that is years apart," Marcus explained as he needed to get out of the way. The Legion Bots were working at extreme speeds.
The girls followed him as they walked towards the metal stairs leading to the exit—honestly, the number of steps they needed to take.
Thankfully, the labour bots were installing a lift.
"...Years… so we don't need to hurry." Marrybell and Euphemia were ecstatic to hear that! So they have years to make it happen, and this time around, there is no world conquest in their way.
"So what are these plans?"
"Fortification in Jupiter." He bluntly replied to them.
"...Fortification?" The group were speechless! What the hell!? It was so random.
"Aeolia Schenberg's plan speaks of 'dialogues to come'. A possible alien invasion that comes most likely from getting invited by the Quantum Brainwaves of an Innovator." He explained to the two… Wang Liu Mei already knew this, but she was listening either way.
"...Innovator… so that's what you wanted all these years…"
The pair of princesses realised what this all means! This is what Marcus wanted all along! Evolution of humanity.
"Hmm, in a way. I WANTED to achieve something like that on Earth, and we did in a sense." He lifted his hand and activated his Geass. He clenched his fist, starting to 'see' possibilities.
"But this is not quiet there, Geass is just a stepping stone, while the Code is a different thing altogether. It's an overload… something even inhuman, between the physical realm and spiritual.
But Innovator? It's truly the next step of humanity. The things I learned from Veda only made me more excited to build the Twin Drive."
"...Twin Drive?" All three looked at him, and even the blonde knight, distance away. Well, Oldrin is a bit nervous whenever Marcus is excited or something major happens, which makes her worried in general.
"Twin Drive is when two GN drives work together in synchronisation; their power is squared."
"S-S-Squared!?" Marrybell looked baffled by that.
The other two looked a bit confused.
"Yes, in the simplest terms, the power is 'stacked' on each other; the more particles there are, the more powerful the machine becomes. The way Celestial Being's Gundams are built is, in a sense, containers of this particle.
Now the Particle's abilities are universal; in many ways, they affect gravity, can be used to produce energy, and when condensed, they can become a beam that can easily even cut nano-laminated metal, even the fancy e-carbon the orbital elevators are built on are not spared.
Regardless, I am ranting now…" Marcus shook his head as he returned to the core of this.
"The most important part is that this particle is mutagenic, it starts evolving people's brains, and in the process of that, it evolves bodies." He explained while looking at them.
The funniest were Marrybell and Euphemia, who were grinning when they heard that!
'I doubt this evolution does what these two were thinking.' Wang Liu Mei deadpanned, though she would be lying if she said that she was not interested, because she indeed wanted to see the culmination of Aeolia Schenberg's plan…
After all she spent billions on this project, the very least they could have sent a postcard or something…

"Where are we going now?" Feldt asked Milly as the blonde was dragging the girls all over the world for the past couple of days.
"Home! I heard that Marcus finished with his meetings and whatnot, and now he is free!"
"...Umm… should you take us there as well? I think it would be better if you let us go to the Academy City." The Pinkette asked; she could tell it would be awkward if they were there.
"Relax, you two are with me, we are going to have a beach party!"
"...Oh! I haven't been in one yet!" Christina gushed at the chance of being at a beach party.
"But where are we going geographically?" Still, the brown-haired girl asked the blonde Empress.
"Malibu, California, it's where the manor is when we bought the house and moved to Union's main territory. The Over Flags are headquartered in this region."
"Oh wow… that is a rich spot."
"I am pretty sure Wang Liu Mei spoiled you girls with nice locations," Milly smirked while saying that she knew where they were, which made the pair a bit nervous.
"She did, we've only been in two spots with her. In Moralia and HRL's China." Feldt explained as she looked out the spaceship's window, which was rushing above the ocean at extreme speed.
By this point, over the two days she had been with Milly, they had been in most of the world's major countries. The blonde wanted to experience countries unaffected by Britannia's culture, whatever it means to the pinkette.
She doesn't even know what kind of culture the Britannian one is to begin with. But that strained smile on Milly's face tells what she needs to know… it was bad.
"I see, then I shall fix it for you girls! We will have a beach party! And Marcus will be cooking for us!"
The two girls and the maid at the back paled at that declaration!
"Y-You want the Emperor of the World to cook for us!? I-I don't want to die, can I skip this party!?" Christina lost whatever excitement she had; now all she wants to do is run away and hide somewhere.
"Oh, relax, you two— three. He is my husband, and he has been cooking for me for years, and I have been cooking for him as well.
He might look terrifying when he is pissed, but most of the time, he is just a teddy bear. You should have seen him with his kids." Milly proudly explained the quirks of her married life.
"...He has kids?" What got the trio shocked was this…
