Marcus deadpanned at his blonde wife, who was showing around the estate to the pair of Ex-Celestial Being's CIC girls. It's like she took the pair under her wing.
Though he was a bit concerned about her plans for the two of them, what is her end goal? He is not trusting that easily after she 'trained' Kinue. That journalist girl was traumatised, that tends to happen with Geass.
"Umm… G-Good day to you…Sir, Emperor sir." Christina noticed Marcus; she immediately bowed to him awkwardly. Feldt did the same; the pair looked spooked.
"Pfff, hahaha, that's just precious, this world is so weird with its lack of etiquette." Milly giggled as she commented on the way they did.
"...T-That kind of stuff is long gone here." Christina tried to explain herself.
"No wonder I noticed how culture was dying off in this world. All that focus on wealth generation caused this world to look quite ugly." The blonde 'smile' didn't reach her eyes as she was in the way, mocking what this world has become.
"That is why I like what my husband has been doing with his empire. Our past and our future together, inspiring the future generation with our achievements."
"...You mean the classic interior snd exterior…" Christina recalled that even at the South Pole, the research facility has a bit of a Renaissance touch.
"Classic? Well, it's not classic for us, we call it Imperial style."
"While it's cute and all, what are you doing, Milly?" Marcus asked his wife.
"Well, I am keeping them as my entourage. What do you expect? I was quite jealous that you had your friends in this reality." Milly puffed her cheeks, showing her jealousy.
"..." He deadpanned at her.
"I was part of the military; I had to have subordinates." He explained himself as he massaged his forehead.
"I think it's fine." All of a sudden, Wang Liu Mei popped her head into the corridor where they were standing.
"These two are trustworthy… besides, they are afraid of you." The Heiress make him look at them fiddling around.
"...Ugh, sure, just do remember we don't have infinite space in this place and you will need to organise extra food, in fact, you will be the one who will be going to the supermarket and buying it."
"...Hmph, you do know that I can bring reinforcements when needed to move shopping bags." The blonde proudly puffed her chest, reminding him that she was still Empress.
"Sometimes I wonder why I married such a headache." Marcus motioned with his hand that he didn't care. His finances in this world are in the tens of digits; he doesn't need more from his World.
"That's because you love me!"
He didn't say anything as he went to his tinkering room.
"...so does that mean that it's fine?" Feldt asked Milly. She doesn't understand what just transpired; to her, it was something from a TV show. Are all Imperials like that?
"I think it's fine." Christina was not sure either.
"He doesn't mind after all, there is no reason not to. There are enough resources and space besides, cute girls are always good." Wang Liu Mei smirked.
"..."
"..."
"Indeed, besides you two being CIC of Celestial Being and programming the Gundams, you can assist him in his little private projects." The Empress said with a smile, making Wang Liu Mei sagely nod at that reply.
"...Right…"
The moment Gundams were mentioned, they looked relieved; those machines were their field of expertise.
"Anyway!!!" All of a sudden, Milly raised her voice.
"Mark! We are going to have a barbecue and a beach party!" the Blonde declared as she walked to find her husband.
"..."
"..."
"This is… one of the Empresses of the world? I am a bit afraid of the educational system in that Empire." Feldt nervously commented.
"It's amazing actually." Wang Liu Mei smiled a bit.
"I was in Academy City. It's an amazing feat of engineering. The mix of greenery and buildings blends with each other; the university grounds are amazing as well." The girl recalled there was a bit of longing in her voice.
"I am thinking of attending the academy there once we are done here."
"..."
The pair didn't expect to hear that from Wang Liu Mei, of all people, though they never knew the Heiress well enough to understand her real desires.
"You two should at least see that place before making your decision." There was a smile on her face as she turned around and listened to Marcus speaking.
"MILLY! You know that you need to marinate it for the day! We can't have a party tonight! Tomorrow at least!"
"But I want today!" The Empress complained like a small child. "Then you can buy prepared barbecue today! We can hire chefs!"
"Don't be ridiculous! No one makes barbecue but ME!"
'Someone is possessive over its grilled meat.' Wang Liu Mei chuckled; the commotion in the house caused other girls to poke their heads from their rooms.
Now that caused the pair of Ex-Celestial Being CIC to notice that in the entire house, there is only one guy…
And that is a bit crazy for them. Was this how a harem in reality looks?
"Then we can have burgers today and barbecue tomorrow!" Milly declared in a trumphant tone.
"...Sounds good. Fine, let's go to the shops." Marcus swiftly caved in. Burgers were great too.
"Great! Then we girls will be going to get more bikinis!" All of a sudden, Milly returned with a grin.
"...wait, hold on! Didn't we buy a lot of them?" Marrybell all of a sudden commented as she realised that something odd was happening here.
"Yes, but these girls don't have them! And I am all up for more shopping." The blonde declared proudly.
"Then we shall split up. I am sure we have enough cars for this." Marcus, with a resigned look, walked over, his hands crossed.
"Yeah! Otherwise, I just pull out my Flidais!"
"Don't do that, Empress, you can't just use your Gundam for shopping." Red-haired bodyguard commented as she was one of the few voices of reason in the whole house.
"Yeah, I guess, this is a pity, this world doesn't quite like Gundam like ours." Milly pouted; she was annoyed that she couldn't use her mobile suit as she usually does. Gundams have huge hands; one can put so much stuff in them!
"...Umm…"
"Does she really use Mobile Suits for that?" Christina asked, no one specifically, but more like all of them.
"Yes, she does. She used her Flidais like a taxi even in her Academy days." Jeanne said to them as she looked at Milly, she recalled Leila complaining all the time about how Milly was misusing weapons of mass destruction like that.
"Hmph, Marcus uses his Tiranis as a mode of transportation as well!"
"Yes, but he is the one who created them, and Tiranis was created with the idea that it would be used for travel." Jeanne sharply reminded her.
"Yes, that… anyway, we are going to shop, and I have things to do, so let's get this over with." Marcus ignored the typical bander he had heard for years now. Thankfully, his Gundams are not fragile and don't need refuelling; otherwise, the bills could be annoying to deal with.
"Oh, c'mon! You can tinker any time you want! It's not like your toys will walk away if you don't play with them!" Milly immediately complained, knowing what he wanted to do. So, instead, she was giving him 'jobs'.
"Who knows?" He rolled his eyes.
~~~~~~~Meanwhile, on Other Side of the Portal~~~~~~~
The blonde man from the Over Flags looked with wide eyes at the selection of Gundams parked in the hangars. They were impressive, but his eyes were on the walls and the banners. This was… well, something he didn't expect to see in modern barracks.
But murals, paintings, carvings, all of that is quite common here. He can see paintings of a Gundam with a cape facing a green mobile suit with one eye, wielding a glowing axe.
'War of World Conquests Before Byzantine Cosmic Era Year 1… Before? So what year is this?'
"Welcome to G-Force, Graham Aker." A noble and proud voice spread through the hangar. A man emerged from the shadows, and behind him stood a red Gundam.
'This is the one I saw in the battlefield… so it was them…' The blonde realised
"I am Duke Jeremiah Gottwald. The Commander of The Gundam Force and the Anaheim Secret Police."
"...Secret Police? Like the Secret Bureau?"
"...Secret Bureau? I do not know what this is; I am responsible for preventing disruptive elements from becoming full-blown rebellions.
His Majesty is far too lenient, allowing people to have such rebellious thoughts."
'Right… he is one of those. I guess, such a position fits for someone so… driven.'
Graham sweatdropped, realising how hardcore this guy was.
"I-I see…"
"Indeed. Regardless, His Majesty told me that you are one of the best pilots in your world. I don't question his judgment, but you see, my G-Force usually runs combat tests to figure out where you stand and what kind of position suits you in combat.
As THE special forces of the Empire, we are the best in the world." Jeremiah's words were already music to Graham's ears.
"Ready when you are, sir."
Jeremiah smirked a bit.
"It's usually, Lord or Duke, you are new here, we can let it slide." The Duke flicked his coat as he motioned to follow him.
The pair walked deeper into the hangar.
"Those are paintings of the wars?" Graham asked, looking at the dramatic, classic paintings on the walls.
"Indeed. What you are looking at is the history of G-Force. In a sense, we are the round table of His Majesty."
"...Round table? Like… King Arthur Myths?" The blonde pilot looked baffled.
"Holy Britannia Empire, which inherited British culture and myths glorification, His Majesty was the Prince of that Empire.
That is why we inherited many of their traditions. Though we don't use Round Table terminology, we are still considered knights, and from what I read about you, you do possess the traits of a Knight."
"..."
"I know, it may sound… strange to you, coming from a world where chivalry is all but dead. In this world, it is still alive and well." Jeremiah proudly declared.
"...So…what do you want me to do?" Graham was a bit confused.
"You will understand, well enough." The Duke smirked a bit at him.
The pair arrived at a location where several spheres were lined up.
"These are simulation spheres. His Majesty insisted that you wanted a Graham Gundam. Such a Mobile Suit doesn't exist. So… we are going to design it."
"...Design?" Graham perked up. This sounds… very nice!
"Precisely, Gundam Thrones, our most powerful suits, wielded by the Imperial Family, they use this specific technology to develop Gundams to their specifications." The Commander explained the perk he got from this.
"My Lord, that is quite the perk his Majesty gave to the new guy." Another male voice said from the side as it revealed itself to be another 'Knight' dressed in a similar G-Force uniform.
"Kewell. You are here." Jeremiah nodded at the arrival of another knight.
"He will assist you, just like the rest of the G-Force, to develop your Graham Gundam." As he said that, Graham noticed more people dressed as the G-Force… among them were even a pair of women.
"...I see…"
"To answer your question, Kewell. I am not the one who is deciding these things; His Majesty does." The Duke said with an eye roll.
"I know, it's just my opinion." The brown-haired man walked over, and there was a confident smirk on his lips.
"I am Viscount Kewell Soresi, pilot of Gundam Buster, the artillery specialist of the G-Force." The man pointed at the mobile suit behind him. Graham could see several massive guns that this machine was holding.
"...Why are all of the machines grey? Last time I remember… they were quite colourful."
"Phase shift armour. This technology is specifically meant to block any physical rounds a machine could dish out. One of the latest upgrades can even tank rail gun shots.
We are already working on the GN equivalent once the technology is integrated into the Force." Jeremiah explained before looking at them.
"You two get into the simulation sphere, let's see what you can do, Graham Aker." The Commander instructed them.
"Sure."
The blonde smirked as he walked over to the sphere. The Buster's pilot walked to his.
"Let's see what the other world has to offer."
