The first thing Sophie did was apologize for Arthur's appearance in her husband's office.
Of course, it wasn't actually her fault. She didn't know Arthur would be there--the alpha had never been there before! She didn't know Allen would tell Arthur to visit him in the office, and coincidentally, she decided to visit the office with Eugene and Hannah.
But, still...if she didn't have a cheeky thought of surprising her husband and told Allen that she would be coming with Eugene and Hannah, he would be able to warn her that Arthur was there. In a way, she felt it was also her fault.
"It's fine; you didn't know," Eugene shook his head. He opened his mouth again without saying anything for a few seconds, before finally speaking in a heavy tone. "Besides...Hannah didn't get hurt because of him."
After Hannah told him what happened that day, Eugene couldn't help but sigh in relief. Between getting found out and his daughter's safety, of course he would prioritize the latter!
