Something weird happened that morning in the kitchen, starting with Hannah's loud gasp.
"Daddy, you burned my egg!"
"Huh?" Arthur blinked slowly, and belatedly realized the omelette in the pan had been charred black. "Oh!"
He quickly turned off the stove, but in the process, he hit the pan handle and sent it clattering to the floor. It made Hannah gasp even more sharply, and everyone ran to the kitchen, including the bodyguards. There, they found Arthur, the lord of the kitchen, frantically cleaning the floor from a burnt omelette.
The kitchen, which was usually filled with the delicious smell of food, smelled of smoke instead. Usually, there would be all kinds of pots and pans because Arthur always cooked a full meal that would fill a whole dining table. And yet, that morning, the kitchen looked empty and messy, like someone who had never cooked before trying to do something.
Arthur was also busy cleaning while apologizing to his hungry daughter. "I'm sorry, Princess--ack!"
