Meanwhile, in the spirit world, Han was walking around, lost and unsure where to go. Souls floated by, some staring at him, others lost in their own worlds. He sighed, frustration etched on his face. "How can I stop Mako when I can't even find the apple to heal myself..."
The poison in his body pulsed with pain, and Han fell to the ground, screaming. The last thing he saw was a figure approaching before everything went dark.
Hours later, Han woke up, groaning in pain as he sat up. A guy was burning meat on a fire, back turned.
"Who are you?" Han asked, confused.
The guy turned around. "Han, you're awake."
Han's eyes widened in shock. "Alexander... I mean, Dad."
Alexander smiled sadly. "It's me."
Han's confusion deepened. "What are you doing here? I'm sure you're not dead... I was told you went somewhere to do important stuff."
Alexander sighed, explaining, "I sacrificed myself to bring Taejoon back."
Han's eyes widened. "So Taejoon's... but you're not dead, so why didn't you go back?"
Alexander's expression turned grim. "I wish I could, but I'm trapped. I don't know the way out of here."
Han sighed. "Why am I in the spirit world? It's not safe for me."
Han explained Mako's plan, and Alexander's face turned grave. "I should've expected that. Mako always comes back when he's killed by the wrong person."
Han's eyes locked onto Alexander's. "Who's the right person to kill Mako?"
Alexander's voice was low. "You, Han. Your werewolf powers haven't awakened fully yet, but you'll transform into a white werewolf, representing peace, purity, and oneness. Mako's powers won't stand against you. He'll only die in your hands."
Han nodded, determination etched on his face. "My body's poisoned by Mako. I can't do anything unless I'm healed first."
Alexander smiled. "I know. That's why I've healed you."
Han's eyes widened. "You did?"
Alexander nodded. "When you lost consciousness, I checked your body and saw the poison running in your veins. I went to the garden keeper of the magical apple and requested one from him. Then I made the cure with the apple and gave it to you."
Han sighed in relief, hugging Alexander. "Thank you. I would've taken forever finding that apple."
Alexander hugged back. "It's okay. The remaining cure is there. Drink it and get some rest. After, we'll find a way to get you out of here."
Han nodded, took the cure, and drank it. He lay back down, closing his eyes. Alexander sat beside him, watching over him.
Alexander sighed, his eyes filled with a mix of concern and nostalgia. "The coronation always takes place during the full moon. The moon is about to be full in a few days, which means the coronation will be on Saturday."
Han's eyes snapped open, and he sat up like a shot. "Saturday? Today is Wednesday! I only have three days left!"
Alexander's expression was calm, but his eyes betrayed a hint of worry. "I know, Han. I'll get you out of here before that. But first, you must rest."
Han shook his head, determination etched on his face. "I can't rest. I need to go back."
Alexander gently pushed him back down. "You won't go anywhere, and wise kings don't rush. They take their time to do things."
Han sighed, his eyelids heavy. He lay back down, falling asleep almost instantly.
Alexander watched him, a mix of emotions on his face. He whispered to himself, "Since Han is here, it's time I do the right thing. I should have done this a long time ago... I'm coming to meet you again, my long-time friend."
