People were evacuating as every officer from the investigation unit was helping them to get out of the dangerous situation, especially with a dragon that was destroying everything in its way.
"Move!" One of the officers within the area shouted as most of the rest stepped aside before they shot out a beam of energy.
The dragon roared fiercely as it tried its best to run away yet more sorcerers and officers from both the investigation and assault unit of Ethereal's Bureau department of both areas.
"Ice Release: Bilazzard Encasement."
A barrier in a form of multiple ice layers had encased the dragon, although it made such little attempt to subdue it as it soon started to crack as the creature was already on its way to escape.
"Sorceress Eunji. Orders?" An enforcer asked as Eunji had commanded them to evacuate any other people within the area as they could not proceed without any precaution knowing that they could harm nearby bystanders who couldn't fight back.
A civilian was about to get crushed by a fallen debris when Sylvie rushed in to push them while jumping away to avoid getting crushed. "Thank you!" The female mother said before running away while the magenta haired girl dusted off her clothes.
Her eyes gazing over to the dragon as she tried to recall the events that happened from the beginning to the current situation that they were in.

She was at the backside along with Jinah and Ha-Eun, wondering what was taking too long for them to arrest the guy until the two girls flinched as Sylvie knew something was wrong. Despite losing her sense of spiritual energy, the pressure and aura of a powerful prowess is still engraved into her body.
"Let's go!" Sylvie shouted as she grabbed the two shaken up girls, running away as they barely managed to avoid the floor that they stood from before had they had now collapsed which would've gotten them to fall off.
A piercing scream shook the magenta haired girl but she pushed herself as they managed to get out before assessing the situation. "Shit! Evacuate the people! The operation went south!" Sylvie said as Jinah had immediately summoned at least two or three shadow wolves while Ha-Eun activated her prowess.
"Jinah! Four people are near the perimeter! Get them first!" The brown haired girl nodded her head before dashing away along with her summons.
"I'll get to the farthest side! Just radio me if it's getting close! I'll keep myself safe!" Sylvie said although Ha-Eun didn't allow it as she continued to tag along with her, warning every civilian as the situation went worse when a dragon emerged from the area that they were at from before.
Everything was in chaos as the two continued to go around trying to try saving as many people as they could before they got separated when a building collapsed.

"I knew I told him that I'll stay safe but shxt…" Sylvie looked over to her sprained ankle, "I guess I should've stayed with her… Rei's kindness and helpfulness is rubbing off me…"
The magenta haired girl picked herself up, limping as she tried her best to run away from the area before she tripped once again. The shockwave from the fight made her stumble as a building was about to collapse on her when she was suddenly lifted up, a shadow around her waist as the magenta haired girl tried to look up from who picked her up although they had vanished into a black wisp of smoke.
"Rei?" She muttered to herself upon seeing a faint red glowing before it diminished.
"Sylvie! Are you alright!" Jonah shouted as she immediately went in to help her get up, assisting her to get out of the area since she was already injured despite the small graze and the sprained ankle.
"Yeah…" Sylvie uttered before going along with her but in her mind was running one thing.
"Rei. Please be safe even if you are here or not…"

"Pretty impressive." Keith uttered into their mental link as Rei was already dashing around before manifesting a glacier to stop the building collapsing as every person that was about to be crushed thanked him before leaving.
"Don't flatter me. I'm still trying to reach that level…" Rei said as the ancient being laughed before things got quiet as the male arrived where Eunji was about to get struck by a hand that was basically the wing itself.
"Shadow Art: Death Eater!" The male chanted in his mind as shadows from him then to the dark parts of the area immediately formed what seemed to be a whip that had a head similar to a skull.
The shadowy black whips immediately wrapped itself around the dragonette as it managed to halt its movement briefly although some were already being ripped off but more whips were manifested to restrict its movement.
"Senior-" Eunji was surprised as the one that she saw wasn't Jinwoo but a hooded figure, it was no surprise although the strawberry blonde immediately knew who he was due to the signature color of his soul along with a certain energy that also resided within him.
His outfit consisted of a long black trench coat similar to Eunji but the only difference was the hood that covered him while a full black fox mask covered his face that had red markings.
"Rei?! What are you doing here?!" She exclaimed as the male stood next to her, "Backup. I'm not here for a long time since I'll have to go back immediately. Senior Jinwoo allowed me to provide back up if needed "
His answer made Eunji questioned herself, after all, Jinwoo would rather be in the front line while letting his intern provide help to evacuating the rest but to let Rei participate in the main line was out of the question.
"Fine. Just don't get too cocky since we're dealing with a dragonette." She said as Rei nodded his head before he reached out, "Death Waters… Bind it."
His tone was cold, serious and straightforward which made Eunji uneasy for a bit although that reaction went up when she saw the whips tightening which at least cut halfway through it's flesh, making the dragonette scream loudly although its movement were still restricted as more shadow whips started to manifest and wrapped itself around it.
"Senior. That should be enough for us to finish it right?" Rei asked which broke her out of her stunned state as she immediately powered up.
"Yeah." She uttered before channeling her attack, "Soul Art: Ice Release: Arctic."
Eunji summoned a singular pillar as it was immediately stabbed onto the dragonette's wing, destroying it completely as the pillar transformed into having more spikes.
"Don't kill him." Rei said before he explained, "The investigation unit needs him for the case. That's William after all."
The strawberry blonde nodded her head as she now understood why the colour of its soul was similar to the physical education teacher from the academy. "I see. So, how should we-"
Before Eunji could even finish her sentence, Rei was gone as she immediately wondered where he went.
"Wha-"
A loud noise of something being punched was heard throughout the entire area which managed to diminish the flames while a hard blow of the wind swept them up for a bit. Eunji looked at the direction as the dragonette had fallen while a figure stood on its head before disappearing in a flicker.
"What the fxck?" Eunji uttered to herself in total disbelief as she started questioning what Rei learned from Jinwoo to become this strong.
She wondered if the male had somehow managed to borrow a bit of power from the ancient being either with or without drawbacks nor just generally training so much that their spiritual energy and prowess had grown to a degree within a short week.
From her shadow, Jinwoo emerged himself as he motioned for her to keep quiet. "This is an order. SS-rank situation. Do not talk unless you're given permission." He said which the strawberry blonde nodded her head before he started talking.
"Make a cover up story. Do not report that Rei was the one who helped you with this. Let's just say that me and my intern had arrived as backups before I finished it off at the last second. If any questions are asked about him, tell them that I assisted him in evacuating him before we joined you. Alright?"
Eunji nodded her head as the official authorities of Ethereal had arrived, helping them clean up while they started to report what had happened to this situation that went chaotic to immediate victory with no casualty at least.

Meanwhile, William was arrested by Tengen who appeared to be furious once they were out of sight as the male leaned in. "You better keep that mouth shut unless I'll have to do it myself!" He said before he punched him in the face.
"Sir… I can't… They might have a memory reader…" William whimpered as the white haired male sigh.
"Don't worry. I'll make sure they don't have the means to have one." Tengen whispered before placing him at the back of the vehicle as the enforcers and official authorities of Ethereal had escorted the suspect away.
"Memory reader… But most of them are low-tiers anyways…" Tengen uttered before dialing someone on his phone. "Search for any people that have a prowess related to reading memories. If you find any, eliminate them as soon as possible."
He ended his phone as Tengen looked over to the situation that was being cleaned up, wondering if he could get a bit of digging as the male could wonder who finished the final blow between Eunji and Jinwoo as the shadow was different from what he had seen when he arrived.
