Aaron spouts out blood as the latter was defeated immediately, the ring glowing brighter as it immediately shattered as the spiritual energy imbued in it started to glow toward Rei whose body was absorbing it instantly.
"Finally. Looks like I'm able to get it done without taking his life." Rei muttered to himself as he looked over to Aaron's defeated form that's laying on the floor.
"Nice attempt at trying to copy higher level techniques." Keith commented through their mental link as the ancient being grumbled and let out a sigh of relief, "Much better… I can feel my power growing again."
Rei took note of it before he noticed the surroundings shattering into fragments like glass in the environment that he was in as he started to see the blue sky in contrast to the greyscale from before.
The male saw Sylvie running up to him while the rest walked towards him. "Is it over?" Keitaro asked as Rei nodded his head.
"The relic?" Eto asked as the black haired male sighed before pointing to himself which the green haired woman to sweatdrop, "Alright. Looks like Jinwoo and I will handle the report for the authorities in both Ethereal and Hong Kong while arresting the principal for obstruction for now. Also, y'all should go back and report it to the headmaster." She said which had the group agree with her as they went their separate ways.

"Dimension wrap?" Sho asked as both Eunji and Rinka nodded their heads after reporting everything to the headmaster. "Now that's more troubling than before. It was only a blight then now it's granting them to use its power to a degree."
The headmaster could only worry if there was a possibility that the world might return back to the dark ages especially when the ancient being had gotten back his power from the relics that Rei had collected from both incidents and work in Hong Kong and Ethereal.
There was only a matter of time until the ancient being would be restored back to its former glory to once again cause havoc in both worlds of sorcery and normalcy. "Alright. Dismissed. Have a three day break with everyone from this mission. Inform them that their grades won't be affected from this and will be receiving coursework assignments that are sent via email." Sho said as the two sorceresses nodded their heads before leaving.
The headmaster was surprised when Eri arrived moments later after the two senior students had just left minutes ago. "Headmaster. I have an urgent report for you to hear." The white haired nurse said as Sho nodded his head as bright symbols and runes went all over the room.
"What is it that you have found?" Sho asked immediately on the point as Eri responded back, "Rei's statement from inheriting the power from the relic."
Sho raised an eyebrow before resuming to listen to her statement, after all, the only way to inherit the power from the Fallen's relic was to either break the vessel or harness from it which would be difficult due to synchronization between prowess level and mentality.
"Rei stated that the relic suddenly broke as the spiritual energy from it immediately went towards him before being absorbed in him."
Sho's eyes widened at the statement, a dreadful feeling crawling up his spine. "Do not write this report. Send this immediately to me after your examination and evaluation with him. If Elliot asks why he can't do it, explain to him it's a special rank assessed to be SS rate. Tell him that he can't say anything related to this or else heavy punishment will be handed out immediately." He said as Eri nodded her head before leaving the room after the symbols and runes that glowed brightly had stopped glowing.
It appeared that the situation was way worse than what he had expected. From knowing the relic being able to boost one's overall level by either harnessing or inheriting the power from breaking the relic nor wielding it to finding out that the relic could break by themselves to return to its rightful owner was frightening to a high level of fear.
There was no doubt that whatever was happening, things would go downhill the moment it got worse than before in the previous years of silence and peace. "What should I do… This is ridiculous…" The headmaster muttered to himself as he looked over to the files hidden in his cabinet, opening it as the papers showed.

Rei had finally gotten his own space after Sylvie had fallen asleep in his bed, her skin looking like it was glowing as he kissed her forehead before closing his eyes.
"Wow. Visiting me after spending a lovely moment with your girl? Quite bold." Keith teased as he playfully mimicked what he saw from how Rei or Sylvie had acted to each other during their intimate session.
The male blushed before shaking his head as he had one thing in mind after the events from today especially with how the relic broke then how he wasn't able to copy Aaron's ability to a degree despite being in the same power level.
"You." Rei called out which brought Keith to stop teasing him although a smirk was obvious with what the black haired male was about to say.
"This Aura Manipulation of mine… It's not mine… it's yours… isn't it?" He asked as he stared into Keith's as the latter yawned before responding back.
"Woah. Finally, Looks like you figured it out sooner than expected." Keith said sarcastically, Rei felt betrayed by his origin since he was proud to wield his prowess upon awakening it but was utterly confused with how he had it in the first place before remembering the relic he had once held when his father gave it to him.
"Why… Why me?" Rei asked as Keith raised an eyebrow before answering seriously, "Why? Think about the difference between you and your father. Are you two strong because you are you or are you yourself because you are strong?"
The black haired male felt confused by his complicated answer before making a difference upon looking over at himself and his father. Both of them were abusive when angered but Rei directed his anger upon learning his mistakes to grow up while his father used that anger as an excuse to diminish his mistakes.
"Looks like you already know." Keith uttered before sighing, "However, now it's the proper time to teach your own prowess since that shadow awakened later than I expected."
Rei raised an eyebrow, still contemplating how his mother knew about Aura Manipulation but decided to put it aside for now and would resume his search later after this important thing that Keith would inform him as usual.
The ancient being before him immediately swung its tails around which Rei noticed a fourth tail. "Oh shi-" He uttered before barely avoiding a punch that he used to be able to expect.
"Now then, shall we start our training?" Keith uttered with a playful tone as Rei activated his prowess since he saw their eyes glowing brightly but his own power didn't activate.
He was confused before being punched right in his guts, making him spit out blood and cough violently. "You'll learn to use your own power without using my downgraded prowess. Brat." His tone now serious which Rei had now feel fear towards his new training, knowing that whatever the ancient being had planned for him will be worse than before.
