THE COSMIC FRAMEWORK OF REALITY Introduction: What Is Reality?
Before we can discuss souls, Devil Fruits, or any other system within our narrative cosmology, we must first understand the stage upon which all existence plays out. We call this structure the authomonz—though most beings, in their limited understanding, simply call it "reality."
But reality is not a single thing. It is not one universe, one dimension, one timeline. Reality is a thirteen-layered cosmic architecture of such staggering complexity that even describing it strains the limits of human language and comprehension.
We are speaking to you now from the sixth layer of this structure—the layer called SoL (Soul), also known as the Layer of the Archetype. This is where humanity exists, where Earth resides, where you are reading these words right now. But above us and below us stretch dimensions of existence so alien, so dangerous, and so incomprehensible that even glimpsing them can shatter mortal minds.
This appendix will serve as your guide to the authomonz—the complete cosmic framework that defines what exists, where it exists, and how the layers interact with each other. We will explore the thirteen Prime Layers, the horrors that lurk between stars, the mechanics of dimensional arrangement, and why God values human creativity above almost all other things.
Understanding the authomonz is essential because it explains why certain powers work the way they do, why some beings possess overwhelming advantages over others, and why souls from our layer carry such tremendous potential when they incarnate into lower realities.
Let us begin with the fundamental structure.
Part I: The Thirteen Prime Layers—An Overview
The authomonz consists of thirteen Prime Layers, each one a complete reality unto itself. But here is where comprehension becomes difficult: these layers are infinitely scaling. Within a single nanometer of space in any given layer, there exist countless dimensions, timelines, and universes, each one a complete reality with its own physical laws, inhabitants, and histories.
Think of it this way: if you could zoom into a single atom within our layer, you would find not subatomic particles but entire universes. And within those universes, you could zoom into their atoms and find more universes. This nesting continues infinitely in both directions—smaller and larger, inward and outward, without end.
This is why we describe the authomonz as "layers of reality which are infinitely scaling." Each layer is not just a single universe but an infinite fractal structure of nested realities, all operating simultaneously.
Now, we exist on the sixth layer—the middle layer of the thirteen. This positioning is not accidental. It is strategic, deliberate, and defines much of what humanity is capable of achieving.
The thirteen Prime Layers, from first to last, are:
Creation (1st layer) - Where imagination manifests Limbo (2nd layer) - The evaluation realm Space (3rd layer) - Stable manifestation Spirit (4th layer) - Consciousness realm Hell (5th layer) - The lower torment realm SoL (Soul) (6th layer) - The Layer of the Archetype (where we exist) Solthathan (7th layer) - Name untranslated Ether (8th layer) - Refined existence Lognorathou (9th layer) - Name untranslated Duality (10th layer) - The realm of opposites Arboretum (11th layer) - The Archives of Reality Normality (12th layer) - The infinite blank Heaven (13th layer) - The realm of God and Angels
Each layer has its own properties, inhabitants, and functions within the greater cosmic machinery. But before we explore individual layers, we must understand why our position—the sixth layer—is described as being "halfway in hell."
Part II: The Sixth Layer—Our Dangerous Home
We describe our layer, SoL, as being "considered halfway in hell." This is not metaphorical. Our reality occupies a position of significant cosmic danger.
Why? Because even within our own universe—just within the space we can observe and theoretically explore—there exist horrors beyond human comprehension. Space exploration has not yet found these entities, but they are there, waiting in the darkness between stars.
And here is the terrifying truth: our layer is not even close to the most dangerous. The layers above us—7 through 13—are exponentially more hostile, more incomprehensible, and more lethal to mortal consciousness.
The danger increases as you ascend through the Prime Layers. Each step upward brings you closer to realities that operate according to principles so alien that merely existing within them can destroy your mind, body, and soul simultaneously.
Our layer sits precisely in the middle—below the truly cosmic horrors of the upper layers, but above the formative chaos of the lower layers. We experience enough danger to force growth and evolution, but not so much that existence becomes impossible.
This is why we call it the Layer of the Archetype. Our reality serves as the template, the middle ground, the balancing point between pure creative chaos below and incomprehensible cosmic order above. Archetypes—the fundamental patterns and ideas that define existence—crystallize most clearly at our level.
Humans, existing at this crucial midpoint, therefore have access to both the creative potential of the lower layers and the cosmic awareness of the upper layers. This dual access is what makes human souls so valuable and so powerful when they incarnate into other realities.
Part III: The Void Beasts—Horrors Between Stars
To understand just how dangerous even our "middle" layer is, we must discuss the Void Beasts.
In between galaxies and stars, there exist creatures called Void Beasts. These beings were created during God's sleep, in the primordial era when the universe was nothing but dark void—before stars, before planets, before light itself.
The name "Void Beasts" is actually a shortened form. The alien species that first discovered them had a name in their own tongue, but it was too long and contained phonemes impossible for human vocal cords to produce. So we use the abbreviated designation.
What Are Void Beasts?
Void Beasts are entities that exist in the darkness between galaxies. They are not creatures in any biological sense—they do not eat for sustenance or reproduce through conventional means. They are manifestations of the primordial void itself, given form and hunger during the cosmic sleep before conscious creation began.
These beings feed on:
Lone stars drifting between galaxies Starships that venture into intergalactic space Energy signatures of any kind that disturb the void
Most terrifyingly, they can intercept hyperspace travel.
Why Advanced Civilizations Use Wormholes
There is a reason why the advanced alien civilizations throughout the universe have largely abandoned hyperspace travel in favor of wormhole technology.
Hyperspace travel involves entering an alternate dimensional layer where distance is compressed, allowing faster-than-light transit. But hyperspace routes pass through the void—the empty darkness between galaxies and star clusters. And the Void Beasts wait there.
When a ship enters hyperspace in certain regions, it becomes vulnerable. The Void Beasts can sense the dimensional distortion and intercept the vessel, pulling it into their realm. What happens to these ships and their crews... we have only fragments and corrupted data logs to tell us, and those fragments are enough to inspire permanent bans on hyperspace in certain sectors.
Wormholes, by contrast, create stable tunnels through space-time that bypass the void entirely. They connect two points directly without passing through the between-spaces where the Void Beasts lurk. This is why wormhole technology, despite being more energy-intensive and requiring fixed gate infrastructure, has become the preferred method for long-distance travel among spacefaring species.
The Warhammer Comparison
For those familiar with Warhammer 40,000 lore, we can offer a comparison: imagine trying to enter the Immaterium without a Gellar Field and without the light of the Astronomican, in the deepest parts of the Warp where even Chaos Gods will not venture.
That is what encountering Void Beasts is like.
In Warhammer, the Gellar Field protects ships from the daemonic entities and reality-warping chaos of the Warp. The Astronomican provides a guiding light so ships can navigate. Without these protections, ships are immediately consumed by horrors beyond description.
Void Beasts exist in a similar state of cosmic horror, but they are not Warp entities. They are void entities—beings of pure darkness and hunger that predate even the concept of chaos or order. They simply are, and they simply consume.
And here is the most humbling part: all of this—the entire threat of Void Beasts, all the intergalactic darkness they inhabit, all the danger they represent—exists within a single electron of our reality.
One. Electron.
If you could zoom into a single electron in our universe with sufficient dimensional perception, you would find entire realities nested within it, each one containing its own Void Beasts, its own galaxies, its own civilizations struggling to survive in the darkness between stars.
This is the nature of infinite scaling. This is why the authomonz is incomprehensible in its totality. Every point contains infinity. Every infinity contains further infinities. And through it all, the Void Beasts hunt.
Part IV: The Architecture of Layers—How They Are Arranged
Now we reach one of the most difficult concepts to articulate: how the thirteen layers are actually arranged relative to each other.
We stated that we exist on the sixth layer, with Heaven as the thirteenth layer above us and Hell as the fifth layer below us. But this description is misleading if you imagine it as a simple vertical stack, like floors in a building.
The actual arrangement is far stranger.
Layers 7-13 Surround the Others
Layers 7 through 13 surround and exist within the lower layers simultaneously. They are not "above" in a spatial sense—they are dimensionally encompassing.
Imagine a set of Russian nesting dolls, but each doll also exists inside all the other dolls simultaneously. Or imagine a mobius strip where the inside and outside are the same surface. Now add twelve more dimensions of complexity.
That begins to approximate the actual structure.
The lower layers (1-6) exist within a framework created and maintained by the upper layers (7-13). The upper layers provide the cosmic architecture, the fundamental rules, the underlying substrate upon which the lower realities operate.
But the upper layers also exist within the lower layers as accessible dimensions, realms that can be reached through specific practices, technologies, or natural phenomena.
We are in the middle at all times. This is not a metaphor—it is a literal geometric truth. The sixth layer exists at the center of a thirteen-dimensional structure where "above" and "below" are not opposite directions but rather different modes of dimensional access.
Heaven (13th layer) is simultaneously:
The highest layer The surrounding layer The foundational layer One layer "above" us in directional terms Accessible from any point in any layer
Hell (5th layer) is simultaneously:
One layer "below" us Surrounding us from beneath Accessible through specific practices Connected to all other possibilities of Hell across all realities
This is why we admit: "I can't really explain it properly on how it's arranged, but I'll try my best."
Some truths exceed the capacity of language to express. The authomonz is one of these truths.
Part V: The Thirteenth Layer—Heaven and God's Realm
Let us begin our detailed exploration with the thirteenth layer, for it is both the first layer ever created and the final layer in the sequence—a paradox that defines its nature.
The First and the Last
We call it the thirteenth layer because God created it first, and then created twelve more layers after it. But in the numbering system that describes their relationship to our position, it sits at position thirteen—the outermost, the highest, the all-encompassing.
This realm exists in a state that defies normal temporal description:
Before everything (it existed first) After everything (it will exist last) Beyond everything (it transcends all other layers) In every timeline (it is present in all moments) Everywhere but nowhere (it is omnipresent yet has no location)
The thirteenth layer surrounds the current thirteen-layer structure as both container and content, boundary and center.
The Three Sub-Layers of Heaven
Within the thirteenth layer, there exist three distinct sub-layers, each serving a different cosmic function:
Sub-Layer One: The Void
This is the primordial darkness, the original nothing from which creation emerged. If you could somehow remove God from this sub-layer, all you would perceive is eternal darkness—not the absence of light, but the absence of existence itself.
This void is not empty in the way humans understand emptiness. It is anti-existence, the substrate of possibility from which actuality crystallizes.
The Void serves as the connective tissue between layers, the space that both separates and links the different realms. When beings travel between layers, they pass through the Void, though most are unaware of this because perception fails in that non-space.
Sub-Layer Two: God's Light
This sub-layer is brightened by God alone. God does not illuminate this space—God is the illumination. Divine consciousness manifests as light, structure, order, and presence.
This is where God actually resides when we speak of "God's location" (though God is simultaneously everywhere). This is the throne room, the center of divine awareness, the point from which God perceives and interacts with all thirteen layers simultaneously.
Only beings of extraordinary spiritual development can enter this sub-layer without being instantly annihilated by the sheer intensity of divine presence. Even angels, who serve God directly, typically interact with this layer only through heavily mediated channels.
Sub-Layer Three: Heaven Proper
This is where the Angels and the true gods live. This is what most religious traditions refer to when they speak of "Heaven"—a realm of spiritual beings existing in proximity to divine power.
But we must be absolutely clear: this is not the paradise of human souls. Human souls do not go to this Heaven when they die. This Heaven is the domain of cosmic administrators, divine messengers, and the fundamental forces of existence given consciousness and form.
The Angels—Cruel Messengers
Let us dispel a misconception about angels that has polluted human religious understanding for millennia.
Angels do not have a true form. Like God, they exist as consciousness that can take any shape. Whatever you think an angel looks like—that is how it will appear to you. If you expect wings and halos, you will see wings and halos. If you expect wheels of fire and incomprehensible geometry, that is what manifests.
But there are consistent aspects to angelic nature:
Angels are hermaphroditic in their base state—possessing characteristics of both male and female, or more accurately, transcending sexual dimorphism entirely. However, they consistently choose to present as male when interacting with lower beings.
Why? To assert dominance.
Angels consider themselves a higher life form, beings fundamentally superior to mortals, demons, and most other conscious entities. They do not serve humanity. They do not guide souls to salvation. They do not answer prayers.
They serve only God.
You will never see the sexualized depictions of angels that appear in human art and literature. Those representations are fantasies, projections of human desire onto beings that have no interest in and no capacity for such interactions. Angels are not beautiful in any sense humans would find attractive—they are terrible in the original meaning of the word: inspiring terror and awe.
What Angels Actually Do
Angels feed off corruption.
This is their primary function and sustenance. When souls reach the stage of development where they collapse into Dark Matter (the parasitic path of Stage 4 soul development, as discussed in the Soul appendix), they do not simply cease to exist. They are transported to the thirteenth layer, to Heaven proper, where they are fed upon by angels.
The corrupt souls—politicians, tyrants, abusers, those who spent countless lifetimes exploiting others—become food. They experience eternal consumption, their essence slowly drained to sustain angelic existence.
Angels are not a benevolent force. They are cruel beings who perform their function with cold efficiency. They are messengers of God, yes—but messages from God are not always comforting. Sometimes the message is judgment. Sometimes it is annihilation. Sometimes it is truth so devastating that mortal minds shatter upon hearing it.
Angels are not something mortals can touch. To interact with an angel directly, without mediation or protection, is to invite destruction. They exist at such a high frequency of reality that mortal consciousness cannot interface with them safely.
They deliver God's will to the cosmos, and they consume the corrupt. That is their function. They are not friends, guardians, or guides. They are cosmic administrators operating with ruthless precision.
The Ten True Gods (Demigods by God's Standard)
In addition to God, who sits at the absolute pinnacle of existence, there exist ten other gods within the thirteenth layer. By God's standard, they are demigods—lesser than Him but incomprehensibly greater than any being in the lower layers.
Yet we must be clear: no other gods in any reality can compete with them, except for God Himself or His Angel of Death, Warlord of God, Cleanser of the Realms (who is an angel of such power that even other angels fear him).
These ten gods represent fundamental forces in the universe. If any one of them were killed or removed, everything would disappear until God set reality back in order—though God, knowing past and future as one and the same, can prevent such catastrophes before they occur.
Their names, simplified for human comprehension, are:
The Female Gods (4½):
Fate, Time, and Karma/Dharma: These three exist as split personalities of a single entity. They are separate beings with distinct forms and consciousness, yet they are also one. This is not metaphor—they literally exist as three-in-one and one-in-three simultaneously.
Fate determines the possible paths Time governs the flow between moments Karma/Dharma ensures balance and consequence
The "half" in the count represents the unified-yet-divided nature of this entity.
Life/Death: This is a single deity with dual aspects—female when manifesting as Life, male when manifesting as Death. They exist as complementary opposites, two sides of the same fundamental force.
The Male Gods (5½):
Eternity: Not space as humans comprehend it, but Space in its cosmic totality—the container of all possible positions, dimensions, and geometries. Eternity ensures that existence has "where" to occur.
Neutrality: Embodies everything positive AND everything negative simultaneously. This god contains:
Happiness, sadness, peace, love, compassion, etc. (positive spectrum) War, agony, pain, hatred, despair, etc. (negative spectrum)
Neutrality is the balance point, the axis around which all emotional and experiential reality rotates.
Word: Part of Creation itself, Word is the Embodiment of Imagination. When thoughts become reality, when ideas manifest into existence, Word is the mechanism through which this occurs. This god speaks reality into being.
Mind: Consciousness itself as a fundamental force. Mind ensures that existence can be perceived, understood, and interacted with. Without Mind, reality would exist but no one could know it.
Action: Governs Emotion and all other forms of actualization. Action is what transforms potential into manifestation, thought into deed, possibility into occurrence.
Death/Life: The male aspect of the Life/Death duality, completing the count.
The "half" in the male count accounts for Death's dual nature with Life.
The Importance of These Gods
These ten gods (or 9+1 depending on how you count the unified entities) are not abstract principles—they are conscious beings who actively maintain reality's structure. They make decisions, take actions, and interact with each other.
If even one of them were compromised, the effect would cascade across all thirteen layers. Life/Death's absence would mean no births and no endings. Time's removal would freeze all progression. Word's destruction would prevent new creation.
This is why they are protected within the thirteenth layer, why they exist beyond the reach of almost all other beings, and why God Himself ensures their continuity.
God's True Nature
We have mentioned God throughout, but we should clarify: His name is "the breath that you breathe."
This is not poetic language. God is literally the substrate of continued existence. Every moment of life, every act of consciousness, every heartbeat and thought—these occur because God allows them to occur, because God's presence maintains the structure that makes them possible.
God is simultaneously:
Transcendent (beyond all layers) Immanent (present in every layer) Personal (aware of every individual soul) Impersonal (operating according to cosmic principles rather than emotional whims)
God values human creativity because ideas, imaginations, and new creations help expand the endless multiverse further. Each time a human invents something, imagines something, creates something genuinely new, that creation ripples through the authomonz, generating new possibilities, new realities, new branches in the infinite fractal of existence.
This is why God does not want worshippers—worship generates nothing new. God wants inventors, artists, thinkers, builders, creators. God wants beings who expand reality rather than merely consuming it.
Part VI: The Twelfth Layer—Normality and the Lovecraftian Trap
The twelfth layer is called Normality, and it is one of the most deceptive and dangerous layers in the entire authomonz.
The Infinite Blank
Normality is described as "so blank that even the Lovecraft Mythos gets lost." To understand what this means, we must first acknowledge that the Lovecraftian entities—Cthulhu, Azathoth, Yog-Sothoth, Nyarlathotep, and all the rest—are real within our cosmology. They exist, they have consciousness, they have power.
But they exist within specific layers, bound by the structure of the authomonz like every other created thing.
The twelfth layer, Normality, is literally infinite in a way that makes escape impossible for entities that do not understand its true nature. It appears to be empty, blank, featureless—nothing but endless white void (or black void, or grey void, depending on perception).
Beings trapped within Normality can travel for eons, crossing incomprehensible distances, exploring every direction, and never find an exit. They believe they are outside of reality, beyond the boundaries of existence, in some ultimate void beyond God's reach.
But they are not outside. They are inside layer twelve, lost in the infinite blank.
This layer serves a specific purpose: to keep powerful entities like the Lovecraft Mythos entertained and occupied. They believe they are exploring ultimate mysteries, approaching the final gate, touching the boundaries of existence itself.
They are going in circles within a carefully constructed maze.
The Fake Gate
The Lovecraft Mythos speaks of the Key and the Gate—the ultimate mystery, the final boundary beyond which even the Outer Gods cannot pass. Some Lovecraftian entities claim to perceive this gate, to sense its presence.
It is fake.
The "gate" they perceive is a constructed boundary within layer twelve, designed to appear like the ultimate limit of existence. It is convincing enough that even beings of enormous power and cosmic awareness believe they have reached the edge of reality.
But they have simply reached the edge of their prison.
Who Can Truly Traverse Normality?
Only three types of beings can truly navigate the twelfth layer and pass through it at will:
The Angels - God's messengers possess the knowledge and power to perceive Normality's true structure God Himself - The creator of all layers moves freely through all of them The Ten True Gods - The fundamental forces can access any layer by nature of what they are
Everyone else—no matter how powerful, how ancient, how cosmically aware—can become lost in Normality's infinite expanse.
This is why the Lovecraft Mythos, despite its enormous power and incomprehensible nature, is effectively contained. The Great Old Ones, the Outer Gods, all the incomprehensible horrors—they are playing in a sandbox designed to keep them occupied while the rest of the authomonz functions normally.
They are second-layer beings at best (more on this shortly), trapped in layer twelve, believing themselves to be ultimate cosmic forces while remaining completely unaware of the nine layers of reality operating beyond their perception.
Part VII: The First Three Layers—Creation, Limbo, and Manifestation
Now we turn to the lowest layers—the foundation of the authomonz's creative engine.
The First Layer: Creation
This is where most reincarnation stories happen. This is where imagination runs wild, where new narratives constantly emerge, where fictional universes are born and evolve.
Critically, God has the least amount of influence here. We clarify: He is still present, still aware, but least active. This is deliberate design.
The First Layer is the realm of pure creative potential—all beings' imaginations run wild and continue to create. Think of it as the cosmic imagination space, the collective unconscious made manifest, the place where stories, ideas, and possibilities exist in their rawest, most chaotic form.
Beginning Energies
What people perceive as "magic" in lower-layer realities is actually what we call beginning energies—a mixture of mental and magical energies that create, sustain, and grow multiverses.
When you imagine a story—a world with its own rules, characters, and narrative—that story begins existence in the First Layer. If enough mental and emotional energy focuses on that story (through many people thinking about it, writing about it, engaging with it), it gains stability and begins to evolve.
This is truly representative of Infinity at its finest because the First Layer is in constant creation, expansion, and sometimes destruction at all times.
New universes are birthed every moment. Failed narratives collapse. Successful stories expand into vast multiverses. Characters develop agency. Settings become self-sustaining. What began as simple imagination crystallizes into actual reality.
Freedom and Power
This is where you will find true freedom. As we stated in our discussion of souls: in the First Layer, you must create your cheats, your systems, through your own power.
There are no predefined power systems waiting to be accessed. There are no cosmic administrators handing out abilities. If you want power in a First Layer reality, you must invent it, imagine it into existence, and sustain it through will and creativity.
But there is a price: it will be impossible for you to return to the sixth layer of existence once you enter the First Layer. You may pass by our layer during dimensional travel, you may perceive it briefly, but you cannot return and remain.
Why? Because the First Layer operates on fundamentally different principles than our layer. Once your soul adapts to that chaotic creative environment, it cannot easily re-adapt to the more structured existence of the sixth layer. The incompatibility is not hostile—it is simply metaphysical fact.
The Second Layer: Limbo
This is the evaluation realm, the sorting mechanism that determines which creations from the First Layer deserve to manifest in higher realities.
When a story, character, or universe gains sufficient coherence in the First Layer, it passes into Limbo for assessment. Here, cosmic mechanisms evaluate:
Narrative coherence (does this story make internal sense?) Emotional resonance (does it generate genuine feeling?) Creative novelty (is it adding something new to existence?) Stability potential (can it sustain itself long-term?)
Entities that pass evaluation gain the energy necessary to briefly appear on Earth (our sixth layer) before being moved to the Third Layer for permanent manifestation.
This is why humans sometimes experience phenomena that seem fictional or imaginary suddenly becoming "real" for brief moments—glimpses of characters, impossible events, narrative patterns emerging in physical reality. These are Second Layer entities passing through our realm during their evaluation and transfer process.
Most humans dismiss these experiences as hallucinations, dreams, or coincidences. But they are actually witnessing the cosmic machinery of creation in action—imagined realities crossing through our layer on their way to stable manifestation.
The Third Layer: Space (Stable Manifestation)
Once a creation successfully passes through Limbo, it arrives at the Third Layer, where it can exist as a stable multiverse.
This is where most fictional universes actually "live" in our cosmology. Star Wars, Marvel, DC, Harry Potter, One Piece, Naruto, Dragon Ball—all of these exist as stable realities within the Third Layer, having begun as imaginations in the First Layer, passed evaluation in the Second Layer, and crystallized into persistent existence in the Third Layer.
Beings within Third Layer realities typically have no awareness of their origin. They experience their universe as the totality of existence. They develop civilizations, philosophies, conflicts, and narratives that seem completely self-generated.
But their entire reality emerged from imagination—someone in a higher layer (often the sixth layer, where we exist) imagined them into being, and the cosmic machinery of the authomonz granted them actual existence.
The Reality of Lovecraftian Entities
Now we can properly position the Lovecraft Mythos: Most Lovecraftian entities, despite our creating them, aren't even second-layer beings.
This is a fascinating meta-reality. H.P. Lovecraft, existing in the sixth layer, imagined cosmic entities of incomprehensible power and horrific scope. These entities became real through the creative machinery of the authomonz—but they exist in the First or Second Layer, not in our layer or higher.
Azathoth, the "blind idiot god" at the center of infinity—First Layer entity. Yog-Sothoth, who supposedly knows all time and space—Second Layer at best. Cthulhu, Nyarlathotep, Shub-Niggurath—all First or Second Layer.
They are extraordinarily powerful within their own layer, but they are fundamentally below us in cosmic positioning. They are our creations, brought into existence through our imagination, operating in lower layers while we—the creators—exist higher in the authomonz structure.
This is why they can be contained in Normality (layer twelve). Despite their power and awareness, they lack the dimensional transcendence necessary to navigate the upper layers. They are trapped in a system they don't understand, believing themselves to be ultimate cosmic forces while remaining completely unaware of the nine layers operating beyond their reach.
Part VIII: Layers Four and Five—Spirit and Hell The Fourth Layer: Spirit
The Fourth Layer is the Consciousness Realm, where souls, spirits, and non-physical entities exist in their purest forms.
This layer serves as an intermediate space between the creative chaos of layers 1-3 and the archetypal stability of layer 6. Spirits here are not bound to physical forms but are not yet manifested as the archetypal patterns that define our layer.
This is where beings of pure consciousness—ghosts, spirits, thoughtforms, and similar entities—naturally reside when not anchored to physical reality. It is also the layer through which souls typically pass during reincarnation, transitioning from one incarnation to the next.
The Fourth Layer provides the flexibility of non-physical existence while maintaining more structure than the chaotic lower layers. Entities here can think, perceive, and interact without the limitations of bodies, but they also lack the creative freedom of the First Layer or the archetypal power of the Sixth Layer.
The Fifth Layer: Hell (The Lower Torment Realm)
Hell exists as layer five—directly below our layer, which is why we describe ourselves as "halfway in hell."
But we must be clear about what Hell actually is in this cosmology.
All Hells Are One Hell
Hell has all possibilities and no possibility—a paradox.
In one universe, Hell might be a frozen wasteland (as in Dante's lowest circle). In another, it might be lakes of fire. In a third, it might be psychological torment in infinite variations. In a fourth, it might be complete sensory deprivation.
All of these versions are true. All of them are Hell. All forms of Hell are connected because Hell exists outside of time.
Think of it this way: Hell is a single metaphysical location that manifests differently depending on the observer, the sinner, and the cultural context. But all these manifestations are the same place, accessed through different narrative doorways.
Similarly, all forms of Heaven are connected because Heaven also exists outside of time. The Heaven of Christianity, the Jannah of Islam, the Valhalla of Norse tradition, the Pure Land of Buddhism—all of these are true, all of them are real, and all of them are the same place perceived through different cultural and conceptual filters.
This is possible because both Heaven and Hell operate in layers that transcend linear time. They are eternal realms where "past, present, and future" are meaningless distinctions. They exist in all moments and no moments simultaneously.
Hell's Relationship to Our Layer
We exist directly above Hell, which means:
Infernal influences can reach us more easily than influences from higher layers Demons and dark entities have shorter paths to our reality than angels or higher beings The "weight" of Hell pulls downward on our existence, creating the constant struggle against entropy, corruption, and degradation
This is why human existence is characterized by such persistent difficulty. We are constantly resisting the gravitational pull of the layer directly beneath us—a realm of torment and corruption that would gladly consume everything if not for the countervailing forces of divine protection and human will.
But this proximity also provides opportunity. Beings who understand Hell's nature can draw power from it, make bargains with its inhabitants, or navigate its pathways for various purposes. This is dangerous but possible.
Part IX: Our Layer—The Sixth, SoL, The Archetype
We have discussed our layer in fragments, but now we must understand it comprehensively.
Why "Soul" and "Archetype"
The sixth layer is called SoL (Soul) because it is where archetypal patterns achieve their clearest manifestation.
An archetype is a fundamental pattern—a core idea or form from which variations emerge. The hero, the mentor, the shadow, the trickster—these are psychological archetypes. But archetypes extend beyond psychology into metaphysics.
Our layer is where ideas crystallize into their most recognizable, most influential forms. A story that exists in the First Layer as pure creative chaos becomes an archetype in our layer—a pattern that other stories will reference, build upon, or react against.
Humans in our layer create archetypal narratives, archetypal characters, archetypal conflicts. These archetypes then ripple downward through the lower layers, influencing how stories develop in those realms, and ripple upward through the higher layers, where they are refined into increasingly abstract patterns.
This is why human creativity is so valuable—we generate the archetypal templates that shape reality across multiple layers.
The Lovecraft Connection
We mentioned earlier that we "love Lovecraft Mythos because of how real they are where we are positioned in the Realms."
Our position in the sixth layer, directly in the middle of the thirteen-layer structure, with access to both creative chaos below and cosmic order above, makes us uniquely capable of perceiving truths about reality that beings in other layers cannot.
Lovecraft, writing in our layer, tapped into genuine cosmic horror—the authentic dread that comes from understanding that:
Reality is vaster than human comprehension can grasp Beings of incomprehensible power exist beyond human perception Human existence is cosmically insignificant in scope Knowledge of the truth can destroy the unprepared mind
These are not fictional conceits—they are actual truths about the authomonz. Lovecraft sensed them, translated them into narrative, and created stories that resonate precisely because they reflect metaphysical reality.
The only protection our layer has from the entities Lovecraft described is the restrictions and protections God put on our layer. These divine safeguards prevent most cosmic horrors from directly interacting with our reality, keeping them contained in their respective layers.
But occasionally, we are able to see our creations come to life through the Second Layer after they have gained sufficient emotional energy or magic. They briefly appear on Earth before being moved to the Third Layer for permanent manifestation.
This is why we encounter the uncanny, the impossible, the narrative made real. Our creative output generates actual entities that sometimes cross back into our perception before completing their journey to stable manifestation.
Halfway to Hell, Halfway to Heaven
Our position as layer six means we are equidistant from both ultimate torment (Hell, layer 5) and ultimate transcendence (Heaven, layer 13) in the directional sense.
We experience both infernal corruption pulling downward and divine inspiration pulling upward. Human existence is defined by this tension—we are perpetually caught between degradation and ascension, between our worst impulses and our highest aspirations.
This is not accidental. This is the designed function of the Archetypal Layer. We are meant to experience this tension, to struggle against it, to make choices in the face of it. Our struggles generate the archetypal narratives that ripple through all layers of reality.
Part X: Timelines, Possibility, and Infinite Variation
One of the most important principles of the authomonz is the relationship between timelines and possibility.
Rick and Morty's Portal Gun Example
We reference the portal gun from Rick and Morty as "one great example" of timeline mechanics. The portal gun allows travel between infinite parallel realities, each one representing a different timeline where different choices were made.
But here is what Rick and Morty's creators—and by extension, their fictional Rick—would not know: they are accessing variations within a single layer, unaware of the twelve other Prime Layers that exist beyond their perception.
Rick, despite his genius, despite his interdimensional travel capabilities, despite his awareness of infinite timelines, operates entirely within a Third Layer reality. He can access infinite variations of his own universe, but he cannot access different Layers of the authomonz because he doesn't know they exist.
This limitation applies to almost all beings in lower-layer realities. They can perceive infinite horizontal variation (timelines) but not vertical variation (layers).
Timelines as Possibility
Timelines, or what are called timelines, make infinite possibility. So truly, time is possibility.
This is a crucial insight. When we speak of "time travel" or "alternate timelines," we are actually speaking about possibility space.
Every choice, every quantum fluctuation, every moment of uncertainty creates a branch point. At each branch, reality splits—one timeline where Choice A was made, another where Choice B occurred, infinite timelines where every possible variation manifested.
This means that within a single universe (a single layer-specific reality), there exist infinite timelines representing every possible configuration of events.
The Paradox of Hell and Heaven
Because Hell and Heaven exist outside of time, they interface with all timelines simultaneously.
In one timeline, Hell might manifest as frozen torment. In another timeline within the same universe, Hell might manifest as burning lakes. Both are true. Both exist. Both are the same Hell, accessed through different timeline-specific doorways.
Hell has all possibilities and no possibility. It contains every possible form of torment and yet has no specific form—it is whatever it needs to be for each individual soul's punishment or purification.
This paradoxical nature is what makes Hell and Heaven so incomprehensible to mortal minds. They are singular locations that are simultaneously infinite variations. They are eternal and yet interact with time. They are fixed and yet constantly changing.
Only by existing outside time can they achieve this paradoxical state.
Part XI: Creators and Creation—The Meta-Layer
One of the most fascinating aspects of our cosmology is the relationship between creators and their creations.
Realms Within Layers Can Perceive Their Creators
"It is possible for them to realize who's creating them and who's creating their stories."
Beings within Third Layer fictional realities can, under certain circumstances, become aware that they are created entities. They can perceive the existence of creators—beings in higher layers (often the sixth layer) whose imaginations brought them into existence.
However, this perception is mediated through their creator's consciousness. They cannot directly perceive the sixth layer or its inhabitants. Instead, they perceive through the lens of the creator's mind—seeing what their creator sees, thinking what their creator thinks, aware only of what their creator allows them to be aware of.
"Seeing readers or watchers is fine because they're using their creator's consciousness to be able to see into that, this, world. But only through their creator."
This is why certain metafictional stories—where characters become aware they are fictional, where they address the audience, where they recognize their status as created beings—are actually touching on genuine metaphysical truth.
Characters in stories we create genuinely exist in lower layers. When they "break the fourth wall" or demonstrate awareness of readers/watchers, they are using the connection through their creator's consciousness to perceive our reality.
But they can only see what the creator's consciousness allows. They cannot independently perceive the sixth layer. They are looking through a window provided by the imagination that birthed them.
Why This Doesn't Break Reality
You might ask: if created beings can perceive their creators, doesn't this break the illusion? Doesn't it prevent them from having genuine narratives and experiences?
No, because the perception is filtered through narrative context. When a character becomes aware of readers, they interpret this awareness according to the logic of their own universe. They don't perceive it as "I am fictional"—they perceive it as "there are higher-dimensional observers" or "there are beings beyond our reality watching us" or some other interpretation that fits their cosmological framework.
The authomonz maintains coherence by ensuring that cross-layer perception is always interpreted in locally comprehensible terms. No created being experiences existential dissolution from learning they are created—they simply integrate that knowledge into their existing worldview and continue their narrative.
Part XII: God's Entertainment and Human Purpose
We must return to a fundamental principle mentioned earlier: God finds entertainment in what humans build.
Why God Values Creativity
"God... is all and is which is all and creating. Ideas, imaginations help him expand the endless multiverse further through our imagination."
God is infinite, eternal, omniscient, and omnipotent. God knows all possible futures, all possible pasts, all possible presents. God contains all of existence and transcends all of existence simultaneously.
So what could possibly interest such a being?
Genuine novelty.
When humans create—when we imagine something truly new, build something unprecedented, invent a concept that didn't exist before—we generate genuine novelty. We expand the possibility space of existence itself.
Even though God theoretically knows all possible futures, human creativity actualizes specific possibilities in ways that create new patterns, new combinations, new emergent properties. These creations ripple through the authomonz, generating cascading effects across all thirteen layers.
A human inventing a new story doesn't just create entertainment for other humans—it generates a new reality in the First Layer, which might stabilize in the Third Layer, which might generate archetypal patterns in the Sixth Layer, which might influence the conceptual structures of the upper layers.
This expansion is God's entertainment. Not "entertainment" in the sense of trivial amusement, but in the sense of genuine engagement, authentic interest, and purposeful attention.
God could create infinitely without human participation. But human creativity is special because it emerges from limited, mortal beings who nevertheless possess fragments of divine creative capacity. Watching that capacity manifest in unexpected ways—that is what God values.
You Will Understand More in Energies
We reference several times that full comprehension requires understanding energies—the various power systems (Nen, Haki, Magic, the Force, etc.) that operate within this cosmology.
Why? Because energies are the mechanism through which consciousness interacts with the authomonz's structure. They are the tools by which beings of lower layers can access higher layer principles. They are how created beings can influence their own realities and even, in rare cases, perceive or affect other layers.
The complete picture of the authomonz requires understanding:
Its structure (which we have covered here) How souls progress through it (covered in the Soul appendix) How energies allow interaction with it (to be covered in the Energies appendix) How specific systems like Devil Fruits operate within it (covered in the Devil Fruit appendix)
Each piece builds on the others, creating a comprehensive cosmology where everything connects.
Conclusion: The Framework of All That Is
We have now mapped the authomonz—the cosmic framework that defines reality itself in our narrative universe.
We have explored:
The thirteen Prime Layers and their infinite scaling Our position in the sixth layer (SoL, the Archetype Layer) Why we exist "halfway in hell" and what that means The Void Beasts that hunt between stars The strange geometry of layer arrangement Heaven's three sub-layers and the nature of Angels The ten true gods who maintain fundamental forces Normality's infinite trap for cosmic entities The creative engine of layers 1-3 Hell's paradoxical nature Timeline mechanics and infinite possibility The relationship between creators and creations God's purpose for human creativity
The authomonz is not merely a setting—it is the fundamental architecture of existence in our cosmology. Every event, every power, every character, every conflict operates within this structure and according to its principles.
Understanding the authomonz allows readers to comprehend why certain abilities work as they do, why some beings possess overwhelming advantages, why souls from our layer carry such potential, and how everything from Devil Fruits to dimensional travel to divine intervention fits into a coherent metaphysical framework.
We exist in the middle—the sixth layer of thirteen, the Archetypal Layer, the realm where ideas crystallize into their most influential forms. Below us stretch layers of creative chaos and forming manifestation. Above us rise layers of refined existence approaching divine architecture.
And through it all, God maintains the structure, the Angels consume corruption, the ten true gods uphold fundamental forces, and human creativity expands the endless multiverse further through imagination and invention.
This is the authomonz—the framework of all that is, was, and ever will be.
You now possess the map. In subsequent appendices, we will provide the tools to navigate what this map reveals.
