Before leaving, Harry looked thoughtfully at Clark and Bruce. For some reason, he had a feeling the two of them might end up fighting one day.
After returning to the multiverse world, Harry stayed in the training room and split part of his attention to observe the situation in the Bleach world. The Bleach world was still developing in an orderly way, and the Spiritual Pressure inside his clone had already reached second-class Spirit Class, close to first-class Spirit Class. He did not need to worry too much about the Bleach world, so Harry returned to his villa, spent some time with Gwen and Wanda, then went to visit Uncle Ben, Aunt May, and see how Peter was doing now.
With Harry's current abilities, helping Uncle Ben and Aunt May regain their youth was effortless. After growing young again, Uncle Ben and Aunt May had been in excellent spirits. When they saw Harry arrive, they quickly cooked a table full of good food, and the family chatted about many things over dinner.
By the time all of that was done, two weeks had already passed.
Two weeks later, Harry returned to his training room in the floating city and prepared to go back to the wizarding world. He wanted to see whether Voldemort had found another way to resurrect himself after Harry had stopped his original revival. Also, his poor senior was about to break free from the basement!
Before Harry realized it, more than a month had passed since he returned to the wizarding world.
During this period, because Harry needed Voldemort to return so he could manipulate Voldemort's former followers and use them to eliminate dissenters, he and Dumbledore had been spreading the news that Voldemort had already come back. In fact, ever since Harry discovered that Dementors were occasionally appearing in Muggle cities, he had confirmed that Voldemort had indeed resurrected himself through some other method, so it was not exactly a lie.
At the same time, because he and Dumbledore were publicizing Voldemort's return, they had attracted Minister Fudge's suspicion. By now, the confrontation between Hogwarts and the Ministry of Magic was something the entire wizarding world knew about. Ever since Harry and Dumbledore began spreading the news that Voldemort had returned, Minister Fudge naturally refused to believe it. He took it for granted that Dumbledore was spreading false rumors to seize his power.
Of course, even if it were true, so what? Fudge would still handle it as if it were false. In Fudge's mind, compared to Voldemort's resurrection, his own position was far more important.
That day, Harry and Hermione were taking a walk through London together. They were already fifteen or sixteen now, and their minds had become much more mature. Because of that, they had also grown increasingly close. Ron had gradually noticed this, so he consciously gave Hermione more time, letting her and Harry spend time alone together.
Of course, Ron had his own romantic luck as well. His date from the last dance, Padma Patil, had been very close to him recently, and it looked like they were about to become a couple. Padma Patil was also a beautiful young witch, so Ron had been happy every day lately, smiling so widely he could barely close his mouth.
London in the 1990s was far less dazzling than New York in the 1920s, but Harry still enjoyed himself. Naturally, that was because of the beautiful girl beside him. As Hermione grew older, she had become more and more lovely. Especially after Harry's guidance, whether in clothing or bearing, she was far ahead of other young witches her age, giving off a confidence that was hard to ignore. If Fleur stood in front of Hermione now, Hermione would no longer feel inferior. Instead, she would lift her chin proudly. The fact that she could rival a half-Veela in beauty was enough to show how striking Hermione had become.
Speaking of Fleur, the two had just walked out of a store when Hermione suddenly asked in an offhand tone, "Harry, are you still in contact with Fleur lately? I heard from Ron that she once came to see you in private."
Harry's pupils immediately contracted, and he silently cursed Ron for being unreliable. There really was nothing between him and Fleur. Back then, Fleur had suddenly ambushed him by coming to his house and asking him out, but he had not agreed at all. However, because he was afraid Hermione would misunderstand, he had not told her about it. He had not expected Ron to rat him out.
Well, this was great. Hermione had definitely misunderstood.
Harry had no choice but to explain patiently to Hermione. That explanation lasted an entire hour. Fifteen- or sixteen-year-old girls really were that hard to deal with.
Near dusk, Harry and Hermione returned to the Dursleys' house together. They did not use Apparition and instead walked back. Under the beautiful sunset, not taking a walk with a pretty girl would have been a waste of youth.
Soon, they strolled near a patch of grass. Harry sensed something and looked to the side, where he saw his cousin Dudley. Dudley was in terrible shape. Behind him, a terrifying black-robed monster was chasing him. Harry recognized what the creature was at once. It was undoubtedly a Dementor, one of the guards of Azkaban.
Recently, more and more Dementors had been appearing, so the number of Muggles in London's psychiatric hospitals suffering from depression had also been increasing. Many unlucky Muggles could not see the Dementors, so they did not know their positive emotions had been drained by them. They simply thought they had developed depression.
Harry had killed many Dementors recently, but their numbers were still rising. Harry suspected this was Voldemort's handiwork. Harry had taken away most of Voldemort's followers, causing Voldemort to suffer heavy losses, so Voldemort had no choice but to rely on other things to replenish his forces. These magical creatures filled with dark power were undoubtedly the best choice.
After seeing the Dementor, Hermione was far more nervous than Harry. She instinctively pulled her wand from her Pocket dimension and waved it hard.
"Expecto Patronum!"
Ever since the Dementor appeared, the entire sky had gradually darkened, and a nauseating smell of decay filled the air. The Dementor chased after Dudley, its ragged robes drifting eerily in the dead air. Wherever it passed, the temperature dropped sharply, and everything nearby was covered in a layer of cold frost.
When Dudley saw Harry, delight immediately appeared on his face, and he rushed toward the two of them as quickly as he could.
At that moment, Hermione waved her wand and cast the Patronus Charm. A dazzling thread of silver light flashed from the tip of Hermione's wand, and immediately afterward, the outline of a silver, translucent creature emerged. It was an otter, Hermione's Patronus.
The silver-white otter charged fearlessly toward the terrifying Dementor. The instant the two made contact, silver light burst open like fireworks. The Dementor let out a shrill scream, a sound that seemed to come from the depths of hell and sent chills down the spine. Its body looked as though it were being torn apart by a powerful force. It began to twist and deform, then quickly retreated, trying to disappear into the darkness behind it.
The Dementors that had once terrified Hermione were now magical creatures she could handle rather easily. Even so, Hermione still could not destroy these strange magical creatures.
