Chapter 125 - Chapter 125: Infinite Noble Phantasms

Chapter 125: Infinite Noble Phantasms

Whoosh!

Garp suddenly closed the distance to Luo Han, his fist wrapped in condensed Armament Haki as he threw a punch straight at Luo Han's head.

Just as the iron fist expanded in Luo Han's vision and was about to land—whoosh whoosh whoosh! Three golden spears shot out from behind him, one streaking past his shoulder.

CLANG!

A flash of gold blinded Garp's eyes. His fist was halted mid-air. Before he could launch a second strike—BOOM!—an explosive shockwave burst out from his fist. Then CLANG CLANG! the other two spears slammed into Garp's chest, just barely deflected by his Haki-covered body, releasing a terrifying impact.

"Damn that ability!"

Garp growled. The force sent him flying back. The distance had been too short and the attack too fast—even his Observation Haki hadn't given him enough time to dodge.

BOOM BOOM!

Two more sonic booms echoed as Garp was blasted downward, crashing into the sea below Roger and kicking up a huge spray.

"Hahaha! The greatest strength of my ability isn't the power—it's the infinite volume of attacks! That is the essence of infinite firepower mode!"

Luo Han laughed triumphantly. Then whoosh! he shot up a thousand meters into the sky, overlooking Garp and Roger from above.

"What's he doing up there? Roger?"

Splash!

Garp emerged from the water and floated near Roger, sounding oddly casual—like they were longtime friends. He looked up at Luo Han with puzzled eyes.

"How should I know? And since when were we that close, Garp? Stay away from me!" Roger snapped, annoyed.

But both of them quickly fell silent.

Because on either side of Luo Han, two massive vortex ripples—each a hundred meters wide—began swirling. Within them, countless golden spears hovered, all aimed directly at Roger and Garp.

Given what a single spear could do…

"This… isn't going to be easy," both men thought in unison.

"Now then… who wants to dance first? Or shall we all dance together? Infinite Noble Phantasms: Spear Formation!"

Luo Han said mockingly, and with a flick of his will—whoosh whoosh whoosh...!—golden spears rained from the vortexes, merging into two massive golden beams, fifty meters wide, that surged down toward Garp and Roger like divine punishment from the heavens.

"This many?! Is this real? Can that brat really use his ability without limit?!"

Garp stared wide-eyed at the descending golden pillars, his disbelief turning into grim resolve. He fully coated himself in Armament Haki, activated Life Return, and launched upward.

A barrage of fists erupted to intercept the golden barrage.

"Such terrifying fruit mastery…" Roger murmured, eyes narrowed.

Gripping his longsword tightly, his muscles bulged as he looked upward.

"Blade of Reversal!" he growled, sending two massive slash waves to clash with the golden barrage.

CLANG! CLANG! CLANG!

Roger's slashes met the spears, triggering a chaotic metal symphony in the air—loud, urgent, unrelenting.

On the other side, Garp's fists collided with the spears, producing a constant barrage of BANG! BANG! BANG!

The battle stalemated midair as their attacks met Luo Han's spearstorm head-on.

"So that's what the top of the world looks like… terrifying!"

On a distant Navy warship, the crew watched with their mouths agape, stunned by the spectacle before them.

"This is bad… Let's move even further away."

Back on Roger's ship, Gaban trembled, his voice shaking. Rayleigh and the others were frozen too, staring up at the battlefield.

From their view, two enormous golden beams descended from the sky like overturned rivers of heaven.

And where they struck Garp and Roger's defenses, golden spears burst outward like meteors.

Some of them, unfortunately, came flying straight at Roger's ship.

"Move! Pull back! Further away!"

Chaos erupted. The crew dodged, deflected, or sliced through the incoming spears.

Luckily, they were powerful enough not to be overwhelmed by the shockwaves.

"Go! Go! Get us out of here!"

The Navy on their warship was no different—fleeing the rain of golden destruction. Fortunately, the sailors Garp brought were elites. None of them fell.

Though when they looked around at the dozens of ten-meter-wide holes left in the sea… no one said a word.

Meanwhile, on Battleship Island…

No one couldn't know Luo Han was fighting.

Those two towering golden spear pillars, and the storm of golden flashes scattering like meteors—visible even from twenty kilometers away. The sound of clashing steel thundered in everyone's ears as if it were happening right beside them.

"Lord Blue Demon is terrifying… Who on earth is fighting him?"

"Is it a Navy Admiral?!"

Speculation spread. Everyone recognized the golden spears from Luo Han's recent displays at the mountaintop, but they had no idea who he was fighting.

"See? I told you it was the golden sparkle! Isn't it amazing? I knew it all along!"

Toki puffed out her chest proudly, beaming as she pointed at the twin golden beams. Her eyes sparkled with smugness, practically begging for praise.

"Mhm, mhm, you're amazing, Toki. So well-informed."

The others gave her blank stares. Only Aishi humored her with a half-hearted response.

"Hmph! Fine! I won't tell you anything next time!"

Toki huffed and turned away, glaring at the golden storm in the distance.

Elsewhere, as the battle between Luo Han, Garp, and Roger unfolded—Sengoku was racing toward Battleship Island.

The ones originally sent to intercept him—Golden Lion's team—had mysteriously vanished.

Now that Sengoku had learned Luo Han was back on the island—and hadn't left—he was coming to settle a score: the deaths of Navy soldiers Luo Han had sunk last time.

"Vice Admiral Sengoku… Are we really going to Battleship Island?"

A communications officer hesitantly approached him aboard the speeding warship.

"Of course. While we're at it, we'll destroy the Rocks Pirates' shipyard. I'm tired of them copying our Navy designs."

Sengoku's tone was cold, his reasoning calm. If not for the flicker of vengeance in his eyes, it would've sounded completely logical.

"But… the Fleet Admiral's orders were to focus on tracking Golden Lion…"

The officer hadn't given up, trying to stick to protocol.

But Sengoku just shot him a look.

"…Understood, sir. I'll report that we're continuing to pursue Golden Lion."

The officer ultimately yielded to authority—and to his survival instinct.

"Good."

Sengoku nodded, turning his gaze toward Battleship Island.

"Three days…" he whispered.
