Chapter 95 - Chapter 95 Battle Against the Lewd Trio

Chapter 95 Battle Against the Lewd Trio

Night fell quickly. Without Yu Xiaogang's direction, the students spent the day discussing how to avenge Ma Hongjun.

After a hurried dinner, they headed straight for the brothel where the humiliation had taken place the previous night.

The group of eight drew countless stares as they walked—especially from the rear, where Luo Ling and the three stunning girls, Ning Rongrong, Xiao Wu, and Zhu Zhuqing, followed.

Handsome men and beautiful women always caught attention wherever they went.

At the front, Dai Mubai and Ma Hongjun led the way. Dai Mubai's nerves tightened with every step.

This was his first time hiring assassins—and in last night's anxiety, he'd completely forgotten to ask where to find Bu Le.

After about fifteen minutes of searching, they finally reached the same brothel once more.

"There he is!" Ma Hongjun said excitedly the moment he spotted a familiar figure.

It was indeed Bu Le.

Dai Mubai saw him too, and his heart pounded harder.

The problem was, Luo Ling was here as well. If Bu Le intended to swallow the job alone, it would only be suicide.

In the distance, Bu Le cast a discreet glance toward Ma Hongjun. Seeing the group behind him, he instantly guessed these were the people his client wanted dead.

He looked them over casually—until his gaze fell on the three women at the back. His eyes nearly popped from his head.

He had spent half his life around lowborn courtesans and slum women, never in his life had he seen such exquisite beauty.

His blood burned with lust; he wanted nothing more than to claim them. But first, the job had to be done.

Grinning, he began to hum a tune and strolled toward the alley from the night before, giving Ma Hongjun a taunting look before disappearing inside.

"He's leaving! Hurry up!" Ma Hongjun shouted anxiously.

Tang San's eyes hardened. Without hesitation, he followed. The others moved behind him, Luo Ling and the three girls taking the rear.

Within moments, they reached the narrow alley.

"Little fatty, you really don't know when to quit," Bu Le's sinister voice echoed through the dark lane. "Still eager to die, huh?"

Blood surged to Ma Hongjun's head. "You think I'll die? Today, you're the one who's finished! I didn't come alone this time!"

"There are eight of us—you're just a mere Soul Ancestor!"

By now, everyone had stepped into the alley, eyes fixed on the sleazy middle-aged man before them.

He looked every bit as vile as his reputation suggested. Ning Rongrong and the two girls behind her all frowned in disgust.

But Bu Le didn't seem the least intimidated. Instead, he gave a chilling laugh.

"You brought your friends? Good. I brought mine too. Let's see which side survives."

He clapped his hands twice.

Two figures appeared in a blur.

"Bu Le, you weren't lying! Damn, these girls are gorgeous!"

"When have I ever lied to you, Lao E?" Bu Le grinned.

The two men walked up beside him—one tall with long hair, the other thin as a skeleton, eyes glimmering with perversion.

The bony man licked his lips, his flushed face revealing his filthy thoughts as his gaze fixed hungrily on the three girls.

"Tian Ya, stop drooling," Bu Le said with a chuckle. "Plenty of time to enjoy yourself after we kill them." His voice dripped with malice, eyes gleaming dangerously as they fell on Ma Hongjun.

Ma Hongjun's bravado faltered. When the two newcomers released their spirits, he froze in horror—

Both were Soul Kings.

Tang San and Oscar's expressions turned grim. Only Luo Ling remained calm, his face unreadable.

Seeing Luo Ling's composed demeanor, the three girls relaxed as well.

"T–Third Brother," Ma Hongjun stammered, his voice trembling.

"Don't panic," Tang San said evenly, taking a slow breath as he assessed the situation. "Even if they're Soul Kings, we still have eight people!"

"Hmph. Such big words for a little brat," Tian Ya sneered. "Do you really think a few weaklings like you can challenge Soul Kings?"

The dagger-like short blade in his hand twirled rapidly, gleaming faint green with poisonous light.

The battle tension thickened—until Luo Ling stepped forward calmly, dark energy rising like a tide.

No, not just darkness—his Crow Shadow Puppet had long since evolved into pure evil. The Scythe of Shadows now emanated a malevolent aura that chilled the alley to its core.

The black scythe materialized in his grasp. He cast a cold glance at Tian Ya, then spoke leisurely, "I'll handle this one. The other two are yours, right?"

His casual confidence made the entire group pause.

Even the lewd trio instinctively recoiled a step—the malicious pressure radiating from him was suffocating.

But when Tian Ya noticed there were only four soul rings circling Luo Ling, fury replaced fear.

"A Soul Ancestor dares to challenge me?"

Luo Ling didn't answer. His attention flicked toward Tang San instead.

Tang San stared back, briefly struck by how… commanding Luo Ling looked. He quickly shook the thought away—only to notice Xiao Wu gazing at Luo Ling with shining eyes.

Jealousy burned white‑hot in his chest.

He'd come to avenge Fatty precisely to impress Xiao Wu, yet before he'd even acted, Luo Ling had already stolen the spotlight.

Gritting his teeth, he snapped, "Fine! You hold that Soul King. We'll take care of the other two!"

"Then I'll leave it to you," Luo Ling said lightly, shrugging.

"Are you ignoring me, boy?" Tian Ya roared. "You dare look down on me?"

At last, Luo Ling turned, eyes gleaming scarlet. The four soul rings swirling around him were mere illusion.

In truth, he was already level fifty‑four—a Soul King himself.

Revealing that fact now would only cause unnecessary chaos; after all, it had barely been weeks since he was level forty‑six.

"You'll regret that arrogance!" Tian Ya hissed, lunging forward with his short blade.

Luo Ling moved with calm precision. The Scythe of Shadows swept up, meeting the strike head‑on with a clash that rippled through the air in a burst of spirit energy.

Killing Tian Ya would be effortless—one swing was all it would take.

At level fifty‑four, Luo Ling's physical abilities matched a Soul Sage's; his strength and speed far exceeded Tian Ya's.

But he didn't plan to end it quickly. The show had only just begun.

As he parried, his gaze slid casually toward Dai Mubai.

Elsewhere in the alley, with Luo Ling keeping Tian Ya occupied, the fight between the rest became far more manageable.

The Shrek Seven launched their attack together.

Ning Rongrong, Zhu Zhuqing, and Xiao Wu moved as soon as Luo Ling struck.

Tang San controlled the field, Dai Mubai and Xiao Wu pressed the offense, Ma Hongjun and Zhu Zhuqing supported from the flanks, while Oscar and Ning Rongrong handled buffs.

The brilliant glow of the Nine Treasure Glazed Tile Pagoda illuminated the narrow alley as Ning Rongrong's blessings flowed over them—two beams striking onto Zhu Zhuqing and Xiao Wu, another golden light cascading down upon Luo Ling.
