Chapter 112: Shrek's Bleeding Compensation! Turbid World's Dark Face!
"What in the world did Cai Yue'er do this time!?"
By the time Turbid World Douluo arrived in Tianhai City, Shen Yi had told him everything.
That old witch had attacked a group of children.
Turbid World stood frozen, utterly dumbfounded.
Was she brain-dead!?
Shrek Academy had already lost miserably, its reputation in ruins—and now she'd done this?
Had she personally handed the Federation the perfect excuse to crush them?
Because of the Dean Cai Yue'er's reckless actions, the Federation now saw the matter as an official offense by Shrek itself. The entire Shrek team was detained by Tianhai City authorities.
One of Tianhai's officials stood before Turbid World with a grim, measured expression.
"Tianhai City has no interest in mistreating children," the man said. "Your Excellency may take them. But this matter will not be overlooked. The Federation will seek proper justice for the mental harm caused to these students. The Spirit Transmission Tower will not let it pass either. I hope you understand."
Turbid World nodded stiffly. "I understand. I understand completely."
He gestured for Shen Yi to take the children away and made it clear that no one from Shrek was to harass them again.
To outsiders, Shrek's loss was just a single failed match—they were still Shrek Academy, the most powerful school in the world.
Defeat was normal in competition.
But within the Academy, that defeat was intolerable.
To the rest of the world, it was nothing. But to Shrek's diehard believers, "Shrek's 10,000-year honor" was sacred—and now it had been trampled.
Those who failed would face punishment. Even if the Academy leadership didn't act, Shrek's fanatics certainly would.
That was why Shen Yi needed to protect them.
"Yes, Master. I understand," she said quietly.
Turbid World followed the Tianhai representative into a grand meeting room.
What he saw there nearly made his knees buckle.
The Six-Star Master Duan Xuan, the Seven-Star Saint Craftsman Mu Chen, the Tianhai Branch Master of the Spirit Transmission Tower, Tianhai City's Lord, and East Sea Tower's Master Huo Tiangang.
And seated at the head of the table—Di Tian himself.
Turbid World Douluo's mind went blank.
He wanted to curse that damned witch Cai Yue'er into oblivion. Even Di Tian had shown up in person!
It was obvious now—the Spirit Transmission Tower stood fully behind those children.
And compared to Di Tian, Turbid World's own rank as a Super Douluo meant absolutely nothing.
"Senior Di Tian."
"Sit."
His tone was calm—too calm.
Turbid World inhaled sharply, forcing his voice to stay steady.
"I've come on behalf of Shrek Academy to apologize. Cai Yue'er acted impulsively—she meant no real harm, and her actions do not represent Shrek's stance. This was all just… a misunderstanding. For the mental distress suffered by the children, our Academy is willing to offer compensation."
Di Tian said nothing. His golden clawed hand merely tapped rhythmically against the chair, echoing through the room.
At that moment, the door opened.
A tall woman with flowing crimson hair entered. The other guests straightened instinctively.
The Spirit Transmission Tower's Vice Master, Vice Speaker of the Council, master black-class mecha pilot, and one of the few living four-word battle armor masters—
Heavenwind Douluo, Leng Yaozhu.
Turbid World's heart nearly stopped.
Why is she here too!?
He had seen her fury once before—and he could still remember the scars it left.
If she had come personally, this matter wouldn't end peacefully.
"Heavenwind Douluo," he greeted nervously.
But Leng Yaozhu walked right past him without a glance and approached Di Tian directly.
"Senior," she said respectfully.
Though they both held the title of Vice Master, Di Tian's existence far exceeded hers—even her forefathers might once have had to bow to him. Di Tian would live long after she and her descendants turned to dust.
That was one of humanity's greatest envies toward soul beasts.
"Regarding this incident," she began, "how does your Academy intend to resolve it?"
She went straight to the point.
"Spirit bones," Turbid World answered at once. "Ten-thousand-year spirit bones. Shrek Academy will offer one to each child involved."
Even the lazy Wei Xiaofeng—who'd practically coasted through everything—would receive one.
Ten ten-thousand-year spirit bones, priceless treasures.
But Wei Xiaofeng didn't care about compensation—his heart was broken.
As a fanatical Shrek admirer, he'd dreamed of joining the Academy one day.
After seeing its outer court dean strike at children, that dream had shattered into dust.
He could still accept losing the three-on-three match—those opponents were monsters, after all.
But losing the seven-on-seven? Losing everything? Seeing his beloved Shrek exposed like this?
That shattered something deep inside him.
"W-what… what happened to Shrek…" he whispered blankly.
"Not enough," Leng Yaozhu said coldly.
Turbid World glanced at her, then at the others. No one spoke up.
He sighed, his face tightening. "After the Holy Spirit Cult's attack, we lost much of our precious stock. Even now, Shrek Academy struggles to recover."
He deliberately emphasized Holy Spirit Cult, hinting that Shrek itself was barely holding together.
Leng Yaozhu nodded once.
"Then three ten-thousand-year spirit bones."
"One!"
"Ten."
Turbid World's expression darkened.
Spirit bones could indeed be passed down, even for over ten thousand years—but each one was a legacy relic from Shrek's great heroes.
Giving them to outsiders was sacrilege.
"Three…" he said through gritted teeth. "Three it is."
This was a heavy blow—a bleeding wound for Shrek.
"I've also heard," Leng Yaozhu added, "that Shrek Academy once had the Ice-Fire Yin Yang Well—"
Turbid World immediately cut her off.
"The Ice-Fire Well has always been a Tang Sect secret. We don't know its location. With Tang Sect's destruction, perhaps only that man still knows."
The Ruthless Douluo, Cao Dezhi.
He was still stationed with the Blood God Legion, guarding the Endless Mountains from abyssal invasion—unaware that Tang Sect had perished. The Federation's handling of him remained unclear.
For now, only he might still know that ancient location, and Shrek was quietly searching for it too.
Leng Yaozhu shrugged. "If you can't find it, so be it."
But then another voice spoke up.
"Wait!"
It was Mu Chen—the Seven-Star Saint Craftsman. He looked directly at Di Tian.
"I've heard, Senior, that you've developed a self-created soul skill."
"My disciple, Tang Wulin, carries the blood of the Golden Dragon. What price must I pay to learn your technique in exchange?"
