Chapter 276 - ★ 275 (STAR WARS VII, IN THE BEGINNING XII)

★276

ACAMAR'S POV

Eternity passed, and through countless meetings, including those with the Supernovaes, much had been established.

The Pond had grown more populous than ever, with Stars now required to master Mega Arts as a standard. From the depths of the Abyss, a new Dark Star emerged.

It was Mors, a striking, feminine figure clad in black knight armour. Her white hair fell freely, contrasting with her crimson eyes, and she stood as one of the few who could rival Elara in beauty.

Speaking of Elara, a Star named Phoenix was created within the Garden. Draped in pure white, with long crimson hair and matching eyes, he carried a presence similar to hers, along with the same tendency to take on the role of a mortal.

By this point, billions, perhaps even tens of billions of Stars, had been confirmed to exist within the Pond.

Elara also suggested we name this first generation of Stars and we came up with one, O-Class.

(NB: I used star classes, with O-Class being the first, which represents the hottest stars in real life. It extends all the way to M-Class, which has yet to be established. M-Class is the group that contains the cold stars. The First Light also mentioned that stars become weaker over time, so this seems to match. Xd)

We've also made ranges for a generation and the small time it takes to form another generation. A billion years is the maximum for a generation and Belenos, the second Star, is already 968,718,937+ years old. So, the O-Class is coming to an end in exactly 31,281,063 years.

And as for the interval, Belenos created a rough number (444,666) years. It was short, but a lot can happen within that range. And the same thing can be said of the pending chaos that no one was aware of.

Elara, as usual, came up with suggestions of Stars who have the power to interact with the Hyperworlds.

The First Light predicted this but I postponed the official announcement of the title till the next generation. This will allow them to prepare more and also create a boundary between us Omnis and the upcoming Gods in the Pond.

Upon hearing this, Belenos increased the interval from the hundreds to a million years on the dot.

For now, there were seven Omnis, each maintaining the Pond within their own Domain. Kenos remained confined to the Abyss, while Algol and Mors roamed freely across the Pond.

Their Domains were barren, holding no life at all, and they made no effort to change that. Algol had already admitted he was not suited to guiding others, and Mors showed no interest in doing so either.

Let's not forget our old friend, Vyrakos, the Star Dragon. His World, Kalidor, was swarming with Dragons but none made an attempt to descend down to the Pond at first but with time, that changed.

Naturally, the dragons came to be seen as symbols of life, carrying a faint divinity of their own, especially with the Grand Lord's avatar taking the form of a dragon. Some of the lesser Stars began to regard them as gods, though that belief was left to individual perception.

As time passed, Vyrakos released several mature Dragons into the Pond, allowing them to explore freely. Some chose to remain, settling within the growing expanse, while others eventually returned. With each passing cycle, more Dragons appeared across the Pond, their presence becoming a quiet constant.

For a time, there was peace. But for how long?

THIRD POV

"It's almost time."

Algol left the Abyss after laying out his strategy, offering Kenos a final reminder before departing.

Later that same day, Phoenix arrived at Elara's Domain, his gaze fixed on her palace in the distance. The world itself was naturally radiant, untouched by cycles of day or night, as such distinctions held no meaning within the Pond.

The moment Phoenix stepped into her Domain, that changed.

Darkness unfolded at his will, spreading across the sky as night took form. Stars emerged one after another, scattered across the void above, not out of necessity, but out of intent, shaping the world into something far more beautiful than it had been before.

"Oh my, Phoenix, what brings you to my Domain at this time of the day?"

Her voice echoed as he entered the palace. The energy is diminishing from his body.

"Something personal of course."

"And what will that be?"

She asked, appearing behind him. She was dressed in a white silk dress not her casual robes. The nature of the dress was designed to stir wild thoughts in the minds of men and women alike.

Phoenix glanced back, their crimson eyes locking at each other, his grin never leaving his face. Poof! With a sound, a rose and a bunch of alien flowers appeared in his hands and he offered them to her.

Naturally, each Drop under her has a garden housing different species of flowers. Her eyes sparked and she gladly accepted them.

"O...where did you get these?"

She asked, her eyes starry.

"I've come to love flowers so I had my underlings work on a garden."

"Another thing we have in common. Thank you, I'll add them to my collection."

The interior shifted bringing upon her garden of collection.

"So what brings you by, you didn't just come all the way to deliver flowers did you?"

She asked, arranging the flowers in a vase before the interior shifted again to what appears to be her living room and sat, gesturing him to do the same.

"I've been working on a special Art. A seal Art."

"You need help with something?"

"Yes please."

He spread his arm and a small red moon appeared.

"I call it the Crimson Moon."

"How does it work?"

Curious, she asked.

"It absorbs energy both internally and externally to ensure perfect enclosure. The target is trapped in an abyss unbound by any laws of existence."

"You carelessly took a fraction of the Abyss below the Pond to make this? How stubborn."

'I didn't. Everything here was made from my sole contribution. Except for what I need from you right now."

"Anything within my power."

"You've heard about Energy?"

"Energy?"

She repeated, before answering.

"Yes."

"Yeah, the power too.."

"Listen, Energy isn't something that can be easily interacted with. Heck, it shouldn't be interacted with. A complete force beyond all norms. Not even the real me can do much with them."

"The real you?"

"The Goddess of Creation."

"I thought..."

"Life is the title I use here. Creation is my main role."

"I see. Here's the last thing. Do you think a hybrid of a Star can be made?"

"Huh?"

"Yes."

"Are you working on something like that?"

"Not exactly but yeah."

Elara lets out a sigh,

"Well, that's a coincidence. I'm also working on it. The Deity of Sun is also working on something behind the scenes."

"There we have it, a competition. Let's see who gets to create the first hybrid."

"I'm game. Is that all?"

"Of course, I'll be leaving."

He got up, the moon rotating slowly, humming in a reddish glow.

"Mind if I see your... Crimson Moon?"

She asked and the moon drifted slowly to rest on her palm.

"Oh my, you're even gorgeous in that dress."

Absorbed in the beauty of his creation, he throws her a compliment.

She chuckled softly, embarrassed.

"You think so, if you like it then I'll be wearing it each time you come."

"I'd love that."

She giggled softly, hiding her face.

"Are you planning to keep the night, now that you've brought it here?"

"Oh, that?"

He gave a small shrug, a faint smile tugging at his lips.

"It's just for show."

He winked.

"We can put up a show that's only allowed at night."

She winked back, her voice low and seductive. He only chuckled, and a hand mirror materialised before him, its reflective surface turned his way.

In the next instant, he was beside her close enough that his breath brushed her ear as he leaned in to whisper.

"Maybe next time."

He replied softly, his breath brushing against her skin, drawing a slight flinch from her. Pleasure rippled through her, the moon hanging motionless above as she steadied herself, her right hand resting against his head.

"Until then, keep this safe for me."

He murmured. The mirror in his hand shifted, its reflective surface turning toward them. Her half-closed eyes widened as she caught sight of its contents.

Inside the mirror, the world was crimson, a sea of red, and within it, Phoenix stared back with an evil grin.

She spun around, and in an instant, everything was consumed by scarlet light. A soft giggle echoed from above. When she looked up, he was there, Phoenix, suspended in the blood-red sky.

"Sayonara, Goddess of Life."

He smirked. She darted upward, but the exit above was gone, unreachable, swallowed by the crimson void.

'The Abyss?'

"Be lost in the abyss."

He said before sealing off the glass on the hand mirror and kept it on the table.

"My hands are wiped clean."

He murmured to himself and a voice replied telepathically.

'Good. Have your way before the next step.'

It said that it was none other than Kenos, the Void Emperor. Phoenix walked towards the balcony and the night cleared revealing a blood red moon.

It was none other than Kenos, the Void Emperor. Phoenix moved towards the balcony, and the night he had summoned began to thin, revealing a blood-red moon hanging in the void above.

In a fluid motion, he drifted beneath the cosmic body, his back turned to it as he hovered in place.

"Shine upon Elyvra for eternity, Crimson Moon."

He spoke as he spread his arms wide, his aura flickering

and the moon responded. Its glow intensified, spilling crimson light across Elyvra, its radiance touching every world within its reach.
