Seeing Aurora Sterling's pale face, Mrs. Sterling felt a pang of pity. "Alright, Aurora, dear. Going through something like this, you've learned a painful lesson. You can't be so reckless anymore. Go on, hurry back to your room and rest. I'll have the kitchen make some of your favorite dishes and send them up to you in a little while."
"Yes, Grandma!" Aurora Sterling replied with an obedient nod.
After Aurora Sterling left, Mrs. Sterling finally turned to Timothy Sterling and said in a grave voice, "Come to my room. I need to speak with you."
With that, Mrs. Sterling turned and headed for her room, completely ignoring Joy Dalton and Sharon Sterling.
Timothy Sterling froze for a moment, then turned his head to give Sharon Sterling, who was standing there woodenly, a long, hard look. Ultimately, he said nothing and followed Mrs. Sterling into her room.
