Yvonne Sloan swallowed hard in terror. In this situation, her only option was to keep begging Dylan Zane. "Mr. Alden, I've truly been framed. You've seen how I've treated Theo all this time."

Yvonne Sloan, her vision blurred with tears, grabbed Dylan Zane's arm, her expression a mess of panic. She was truly afraid.
Dylan Zane pushed Yvonne Sloan's hand away. He had to admit that Laura Lowell had a point. If Yvonne Sloan was truly a person of poor character, it wouldn't be good for a child to be around her.
