After finishing up for lunch, Hannah Hale placed the organized case files into a drawer. She raised a hand to massage her sore neck, and just as she stood up, Morgan Joyce walked in.
"You should be in your room. What are you doing here?"
Hannah Hale looked at Morgan Joyce's pale face and frowned slightly.
With one hand in his pocket, Morgan Joyce smiled. "I'm hungry. I'll go with you to get lunch from the cafeteria."
"It's so cold out, and you still have a fever. You should go back to your room and rest. I can go by myself."
"I'll go with you. Besides, I could use some fresh air."
Hannah Hale took her coat from the hanger and put it on, casually pulling her hair out from under the collar. "Fine. But button up your coat. I don't want you catching another chill and getting even sicker."
"Alright."
