The man in the white shirt was Professor Brian Dixon from the Veridian College of History, and the one in the striped T-shirt was Professor Isaac Shawcross from the Veridian College of Liberal Arts.
Vera Xavier stood there, watching the game. The two men were evenly matched, though Professor Brian Dixon, playing with the black stones, had a slight advantage. When Professor Isaac Shawcross placed a stone, Vera commented from the sidelines, "Sir, if you make a move like that, you're bound to lose."
'They didn't know her; they were strangers. "Sir" was the most appropriate thing to call them.'
Isaac Shawcross looked up at her. "What nonsense are you spouting?"
Brian Dixon, on the other hand, said, "Young lady, a spectator shouldn't comment on the game. Don't you know that?"
Vera Xavier looked properly chastised. "You're right, sir. I'll be quiet now."
So Brian Dixon made his move, and Isaac Shawcross shot her a glare. She just giggled, saying nothing more.
