Catherine swept over, her bodyguards trailing her with a seat cushion and a hand warmer.
"It's freezing out. Do we really have to talk out here? Get in my car."
"I'm afraid your car isn't safe." Joan Shaw smiled faintly and patted the empty space beside her. "Let's just talk here. I don't have much time. If Miles wakes up and finds me gone, he'll get suspicious."
"Hah!" Catherine scoffed. From the bottom of her heart, she despised this self-righteous woman. Her attitude was utterly arrogant, as if even K Group was beneath her notice.
Since she was here to negotiate, Catherine decided to tolerate it for now. She only sat down after a bodyguard placed the cushion on the bench.
"Speak. What are your terms?" Catherine asked coldly, brimming with confidence. 'There's probably nothing in this world I can't do.'
"It's nothing too difficult. When I leave, I want to take two people with me: my stepmother and my stepsister."
