Julie's Point of View
My entire body went rigid as I looked at the debris scattered beneath my feet. A surge of tension shot through my limbs, and I was completely flustered, my words coming out stumbled: "I told you it was too heavy for me... now they're all broken."
His voice was low and haunting as he stepped over the crystal shards, which let out a sharp crunching sound under his boots. "You broke all the statues," he said.
"It's not my fault!" I tried to defend myself, clutching the fabric of my pink dress.
"It is your fault, Julie," he replied sternly, cornering me with a gaze that pierced through my defenses.
He moved closer until I felt the heat of his body overpowering the room's chill. He leaned down to my eye level and hissed, sending a shiver down my spine: "Are you ready for your punishment?"
