"Cyrina..." Lucian says, his voice as steady as ever.
"Hm hm!" I hum, leaning in slightly. Come on, Lucian, give me the romance!
"This... journey is very long, and you are taking flight so..." he says, pausing for a moment.
"Yes?" I say, my heart racing a little.
He gently opens his palm between us. I look down at his hand as magical sprinkles glow on his palm, and a rectangular wooden case appears out of thin air.
"Hm?" I tilt my head as he opens it, revealing a pair of high-quality, thick-glassed goggles. They look like high-end aviator goggles but much more stylish.
"Whoaa!!!"
"Wear these," he says. "It will help you to keep your eyes open without irritation from the wind while you are flying."
"Eh... uhm, hm." I nod, a bit stunned. I really wasn't expecting him to be this considerate! He could have given these to me yesterday or last night, so why now? Did he suddenly remember at the last second? Or is this just his awkward way of making an excuse to see me off?
