I try to look down—and whoa—the height makes my stomach drop. My palms go sweaty, and my feet curl like that's somehow going to save me.
I knew the Empire was big, but seeing it like this? It's ridiculously huge!!!
From up here, I can actually see the massive hexagon-shaped walls stretching across the land. It's like a giant puzzle.
I can spot the six major gates, each one busy with its own purpose just like the library books said.
There's the trade gate bustling with wagons, the grand gate for royals and nobles, the traveler's gate for visitors, and the strictly organized military gate. I can even see the farmers' gate where all the supplies and taxes come through... and then, tucked away, that one restricted gate.
Whoa, it's just so massive. Even from all the way up here, those walls look like they could hold back the world.
