Chapter 362 - GAM Ch 362: I Don't Know You

Seeing the bewildered look on Archangel Zadkiel's face after Garfield revealed the name of the Father God of Silver City, Garfield was curious.

Was this archangel a fake.

Had his eyes and nose deceived him.

Garfield asked Archangel Zadkiel, "Are you not an archangel from Silver City."

Archangel Zadkiel patted his chest. "Of course I am the archangel of Silver City. I am Archangel Zadkiel."

Zadkiel.

Garfield searched his memory carefully and found that he did not recognize him. "Sorry, I do not know you."

Among the angel sisters Alina and Eleta at the counter, Alina raised her hand and spoke. "Master, Archangel Zadkiel was sent to Earth by the Father God many years ago and has not returned for thousands of years. He should be unaware of the Father God and Master's affairs."

"I see."

Archangel Zadkiel was initially annoyed by Alina calling Garfield master.

After all, she was one of his own, and in his eyes, no one could enslave an angel from Silver City.

But when Alina mentioned Garfield and the Father God, it seemed that he had not been back for many years, and the shop owner had made a deal with his Father God.

The name Garfield sounded familiar.

He seemed to have heard of him recently.

After retrieving information about Garfield from his memories, Archangel Zadkiel realized who Garfield really was.

He was the disciple of the Ancient One, the Sorcerer Supreme of Kamar Taj, the third son of Odin, the King of Asgard, and the rightful guardian of Earth.

According to the agreement, Zadkiel himself needed to report to Kamar Taj before he could move around on Earth.

The Ancient One's attitude toward the angels of Silver City and the demons of Hell was essentially more inclined toward Silver City, so she knew that Archangel Zadkiel had been on Earth for many years.

She would occasionally observe him with magic but never actually intervene, even secretly helping him at times.

This was something Archangel Zadkiel was unaware of, and Garfield knew even less.

Through the introductions of the angel sisters Alina and Eleta, Garfield and Archangel Zadkiel formally met.

Zadkiel understood that his Father had made a deal with Garfield, using him as an entry point to another Silver City on Earth.

Since Garfield was not his enemy, Archangel Zadkiel slightly lowered his guard and began carefully examining Garfield's Oddity Store.

Gold and exorcism tools were considered worthless trash in his eyes.

Only the scrolls summoning angels and demons were worthy of his attention.

What surprised him even more was the time portal Garfield had created.

Pointing to Garfield's time portal, Archangel Zadkiel exclaimed, "A stable time portal. Kamar Taj's magic is truly remarkable."

"Oh, indeed. The light magic of Silver City is really powerful."

This kind of commercial flattery brought the cat and angel, who were initially unfamiliar with each other, closer.

Since Zadkiel had a mission to complete, he did not linger at the shop and left quickly.

He did not mention anything about the demonic goods in the shop.

Garfield gained a new understanding of this angel named Zadkiel.

Having stayed on Earth for so long, he had become much more tactful.

He knew some things could not be done directly.

Just as Garfield had expected, a new tenant moved into the shop across the street the next morning.

Garfield did not need to investigate himself.

The doorman, Lilith, told him that the new tenant had a scent that their kind disliked.

Since they did not like their own kind of demons, there was only one other creature.

Ghost Riders.

Archangel Zadkiel, who oversaw them, naturally had connections with them, so sending two Ghost Riders to monitor those who bought demonic items from his shop was a good idea.

Garfield actually thought he was overthinking things.

The angels in Silver City were not just Zadkiel himself.

Even if they could not kill the demon warriors, dealing with unclaimed demon weapons and projections would not be difficult.

He initially wanted to persuade them, but then reconsidered and decided to let them be.

Having a bunch of Ghost Riders blocking his shop was a good thing.

If he went out and encountered some unruly demons, they could lend a hand.

Of course, Garfield also had to be careful not to let their neighbors purify his two succubus employees.

That noon, while the shop was still under renovation in human form, Garfield opened the door and entered.

The Ghost Riders who entered were a man and a woman.

Garfield did not know their names and did not ask.

The male and female Ghost Riders stared at Garfield warily.

Although they knew Garfield was the shop owner with a complicated background, their instincts told them they did not like him.

The power of the vengeful spirit within them immediately warned them that the orange cat like creature in front of them was extremely dangerous.

"Who are you," the male Ghost Rider asked Garfield first.

Garfield pointed to his shop. "I am Garfield, the owner of this shop. You were sent by Zadkiel, were you not. I guessed his intentions. You can operate here, and even seek help in the shop if you encounter difficulties. But I want to remind you of something, and I hope you will remember this in your souls. If the thing inside you dares to lay a hand on my shop or my family, I will make you wish you were dead, and even in death you will not find relief."

As he spoke, Garfield released the pressure of his cosmic beast and summoned lightning powerful enough to destroy everything.

Suddenly, under Garfield's pressure, the two Ghost Riders revealed their true forms, two burning skeletons, but they only slowly protected themselves, a defensive posture born of instinct.

"Unknown powerful being, what do you want," the vengeful spirits within the two Ghost Riders spoke simultaneously.

While continuing to exert pressure, Garfield announced his identity. "I, Garfield Odinson, disciple of the Sorcerer Supreme of Kamar Taj, and the Third Prince of Asgard, hereby warn you. This is my shop, and inside are my employees and family. If you cross the line, I will make you regret ever being born. Whether you are Zarathos or the Spirit of Vengeance, you will both die."

The two faced off for a while before Ghost Rider nodded and whispered, "Understood, but perhaps you will regret it in the future."

Sure enough, the Spirit of Vengeance, being a vengeful angel, was single minded, and after merging with the madman Zarathos, his mind went even further.

They thought themselves immortal beings, only to be sealed away, but they had never encountered a Flerken capable of devouring everything.

Faced with these two young, ignorant bosses, Garfield did not mind teaching them a lesson.
