Chapter 363 - GAM Ch 363: Ghost Rider Disposal Unit

"Orange cat, you are guilty."

Garfield, enraged by the two Ghost Riders' words, pulled out his Meow Meow Hammer and smashed it into their faces.

Thud.

The Hellfire was smashed halfway off one Ghost Rider's skull by Garfield's hammer.

Garfield then moved in front of the other Ghost Rider, trapping him, and aimed at his skull.

"Forty."

"Forty."

"You are guilty."

"Your whole family is guilty."

"What are you so arrogant about being a Ghost Rider."

"I will show you what it means to have trouble with your words."

"Forty."

"Forty."

Ten minutes later, the shop fell silent.

The two Ghost Riders, like defeated dogs, huddled in a corner.

Garfield, grooming his fur, calmly spoke to them.

"Behave yourselves, will you not."

The two Ghost Riders nodded. "We have behaved."

Garfield asked, "Still causing trouble."

The two Ghost Riders shook their heads. "No more trouble."

Garfield patted their heads, which were burning with Hellfire. "I tried to reason with you, but you would not listen. You insisted on being subdued by me. You are not allowed to do it again, understand. If you do it again..."

He opened his all consuming mouth, letting the two Ghost Riders experience what a cosmic beast was like.

"If you cause trouble again, there will not be a next time, understand."

After the two Ghost Riders repeatedly promised that they would behave, Garfield returned to the shop satisfied.

Lilith, Vivian, Alina, and Eleta, who had been watching Garfield subdue them through the shop's glass, witnessed the whole process.

When Garfield returned, the four little ones obediently went back behind the counter, looking at Garfield with adoring eyes.

Garfield pointed to the One Ear figurine in the corner and said to Lilith, Vivian, Alina, and Eleta, "If they try to cause trouble, just activate One Ear and send them on their way."

Lilith and Vivian knew what One Ear was, so they nodded and said, "Yes."

Alina and Eleta looked confused.

They could tell that One Ear was no ordinary item, but they did not know exactly how extraordinary it was.

Alina blinked curiously and asked Garfield, "Master, is this Anubis puppet very powerful."

Garfield nodded. "This is an avatar of Anubis left in this world. It possesses the power of death, making it perfect for dealing with those Ghost Riders."

Oh, I see.

So it is an avatar of Anubis who has mastered the power of death.

The Ghost Riders only rely on the vengeful spirits residing in their bodies, which is pure soul energy.

Anubis's power of death is exactly what counters them.

Alina and Eleta nodded. "Understood, Master."

"You two continue minding the shop. I will go find Howard."

"Yes, sir."

Garfield, having pinpointed Howard's location, opened a portal and went over.

Howard was in Stark Industries' lab introducing his new invention to some military representatives.

Seeing the portal open in front of him, Howard calmly stopped his explanation and waited for Garfield to appear.

Several United States military representatives were terrified, repeatedly asking Howard, "Howard, what is this."

Some even pulled out pistols in case of emergency.

When they saw an orange cat dart in, the military representative with the gun instantly relaxed and cheerfully asked Howard, "Is this magic. What kind of illusion is this."

Garfield glanced at the other man and whispered to Howard, "Who is this idiot. He does not even know magic."

Howard looked at the representative Garfield mentioned, thought for a moment, and told Garfield, "This one. He is new. Seems to have some powerful connections."

"A cat, a cat can talk."

Most of the legitimate military representatives had seen a lot and had reviewed some classified files before coming, so they were only slightly surprised by Garfield's arrival.

They then began to plan how to talk to Garfield, rather than seeing him as a spy planted in the military by some American political figure.

Garfield raised his paw and covered the other's mouth.

His henchman scoffed, "The US military really has no one left. How can someone with this kind of mentality even make it out here."

"Mr. Orange Cat," a slightly older military officer said, his voice eliciting a second glance from Garfield.

"While this person is a representative of our military, he was not selected through our proper channels, so we cannot agree with your statement."

Garfield could not help but look at the officer again.

It was Agent J's familiar face.

In the Marvel universe, the officer appeared to be Colonel Phillips, the commander of the Strategic Scientific Reserve and one of the three founders of S.H.I.E.L.D. alongside Carter and Howard.

Garfield suspected that if the Men in Black universe had any connection with him, J's father might be him, or perhaps his grandfather.

J's grandfather might be more plausible, but Colonel Phillips was already in his forties or fifties when he debuted.

Perhaps Phillips was still going strong.

"Phillips."

Colonel Phillips was also surprised.

This strange orange cat actually recognized him.

The other officials stared at Phillips, curious when he had come to know the cat.

"Would you believe me if I said I do not know him."

Several military representatives shook their heads, indicating disbelief.

Garfield raised his paw and aimed at the other military representatives besides Phillips, striking them with a forget everything gesture.

Garfield was brainwashing them.

"You did not see the portal today, nor did you see me. You were just listening to Howard Stark's explanation."

While the representatives were still in a daze, Garfield pointed at someone he did not like. "This guy is unruly. After you leave, you should jointly remove him."

"Yes, sir."

The military representatives then filed out, as if nothing had happened.

Besides his own abilities, Phillips, who founded S.H.I.E.L.D., also had the ability to seize fleeting opportunities.

He could tell that Garfield had not attacked him, so Garfield must have something to discuss with him.

"Colonel Phillips, do not be so reserved. You must have been exposed to quite a bit of mysticism by now."

In front of Garfield, Phillips no longer hid too much and nodded. "That is right, I have seen werewolves and vampires, but this is the first time I have encountered a talking cat like you."

Garfield replied, "I am not a cat. Alright, let us not talk about this. Knowing about mysticism proves that you should also know that the whole world is far more complex than what you see before you. I have some information here that could change the future of this war and the world order. I wonder if you would like to hear it."

The claim of changing the future of the war and the world order was thrown at Phillips, leaving him a little stunned.

Howard looked equally puzzled. "Cat, what news. I did not know about this."

"Did you know that behind that mustachioed guy in Europe and those short guys in the Pacific is a mysterious organization, and someone in that organization named Johann Schmidt is searching for an artifact that Odin left behind on Earth."
