Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: Upon arriving in Teyvat, Alice told me to call her "Mom"

"This is my homeland, and its name is—Teyvat."

Surtalogi sat on the disk atop the Orion Giant Spider, speaking to Orion.

Just now, the Orion Giant Spider was flying at sub-light speed, but The Wicked Knight complained that it was too slow, and then used that black power, the so-called Abyssal Power, to make several jumps to arrive here, hovering above Teyvat.

Orion looked down; it was a planet encased in a massive, deep crimson curtain, like a sphere inside an eggshell.

The two of them were currently hovering above a giant moon.

"Huh?" Orion questioned internally: "Shouldn't the moon be inside the False Sky? How did it get outside?

If it's outside, it must be unwanted, right?

I'll just swallow it."

Hey, it's just a simple task.

The Wicked Knight high in the High Heavens was somewhat speechless. Why were this child's little hands... not very clean?

"How do I find your disciple?" After eating the moon, Orion looked at the outer contour of Teyvat, which he had never seen in his Remembrance, and asked The Wicked Knight.

The Wicked Knight shook his head: "That's not my concern. You just need to go find him yourself."

*How irresponsible,* Orion mused inwardly, but outwardly, under the deterrence of The Wicked Knight, he had to pretend to be obedient and ask, "Then how do I get in? Isn't it wrapped in an eggshell?"

"I'll send you down."

"Oh, how are you going to—WHOA WHOA WHOA WHOA AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!"

Before Orion could finish his question, The Wicked Knight actually picked up Orion's 150-meter-tall body and threw him toward the eggshell wrapping Teyvat.

Orion's massive body was quickly captured by Teyvat's gravity, hurtling toward the planetary eggshell at a speed sufficient to cause a mass extinction event.

The immense mass, combined with The Wicked Knight's enormous power, broke through the False Sky using sheer force. From the air, The Wicked Knight's voice echoed:

"Heh heh, opening a door for that girl is enough; as a man, rely on your physical body to break through this place! Kid, until next time!"

"You Old Bastard, may you die a terrible death AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!"

Before plunging into Teyvat, Orion finally swore his first curse word at The Wicked Knight.

Then, his 150-meter-tall massive body was pulled into a wondrous white space.

In that space, a Witch Miss, dressed in red and wearing a hat that served only as decoration—barely recognizable as a hat by its outline—was sitting there, playing Chess with a blue floating witch hat opposite her, which was wrapped beneath a starry sky.

"Oh my! It seems we have a guest. However, the power contained within this one seems... a bit too strong. It appears we don't have the ability to suppress him, do we?" The red-clad, golden-haired witch said to the Starry Cluster opposite her, while looking up in Orion's direction.

Orion stood to the side, staring blankly at the two figures.

To be honest, I'll lay my cards on the table: Orion was a veteran Genshin Impact player from the start of the game in his previous life!

His reason for playing Genshin Impact was simple: when he played *BotW*, the strongest masterpiece he revered, he couldn't control pretty girls, and without researching extended gameplay like 'Moonwalks,' the game was finished once it was finished.

The phrase he most often said back then was, "I really want to wipe my Remembrance and play *BotW* again!" Coincidentally, he happened to catch the Genshin Impact closed beta test, so he followed it and played it ever since.

Naturally, as a veteran ACG enthusiast, his Character Box contained only female characters, apart from a few male characters he liked. Regardless of how much he liked them, he wouldn't miss a single female character.

It was natural that he recognized the identities of these two witches instantly.

The golden-haired one goes without saying. This is the mother of the nation's daughter, little Klee, who has the only designated PVP immunity in the entire game: Ms. Alice, Witch A!

What? You're asking why Klee can't be your wife?

Hello? Knights of Favonius? Arrest everyone who commented and liked the above statement.

As for the blue witch hat wrapped in the Starry Cluster sitting opposite Ms. Alice, it's most likely the teacher of the Great Astrologist Mona Megistus, Astromancer Barbeloth Trismegistus, also known as Witch B.

Both are members of Teyvat's mysterious organization, the Hexenzirkel.

Ms. Alice is one of Teyvat's Border Administrators. She probably pulled me in here because of this matter, so the current procedure is likely an entry security check.

Orion curled his limbs, lowered his body, and greeted them politely: "Hello, Great Adventurer Ms. Alice, and Great Astrologist Barbeloth."

"Eh? This child is so polite! And his voice sounds so young!" Alice was clearly interested in Orion, who presented a huge contrast in voice, appearance, power, and personality, but Barbeloth had a different attitude.

"How do you know our names and identities? Did the person who brought you tell you?" The Nebula Cluster floated in front of Orion and asked.

Orion couldn't exactly say, *I'm a veteran Genshin Impact player from launch*, could he? He had to lie: "I can achieve a certain degree of future sight, which I call Clairvoyance."

"I see, that's truly amazing!" Alice tried touching Orion's limb; it didn't feel as terrifying as it looked, and the blue flame wasn't hot.

Afterward, Orion briefly explained his purpose for coming here. To be honest, he couldn't wait to descend onto the Teyvat Continent; his mind was entirely focused on "Open the door!"

Barbeloth sighed deeply after listening: "I knew none of Rhinedottir's old colleagues were easy to deal with. The Wicked Knight sent over one disciple decades ago, and now he sends over another Poison Pet. Thankfully, even though this child looks rough, he has a good heart, otherwise, it would probably be another great catastrophe, like the return of the Second Descender!"

"That's true!" Alice rubbed her chin: "Little Orion, can you transform into a shape like ours?"

Orion was stunned. To be honest, he wasn't sure, but in his previous life, the ORT he played in FGO Chapter 7 possessed many forms, including one where it analyzed the existence of the Throne of Heroes on Earth, forcibly invaded it, molded a saint graph similar to a Grand Descender for itself, and completed the summoning.

Of course, the Descenders in the type-moon universe are different from those in Teyvat. The former refers to extraterrestrial life forms, while the latter specifically refers to a group of people with special statuses.

So Orion tried analyzing Alice's body, and surprisingly, he succeeded!

A blue light flashed, and Orion's body size continuously shrank.

Finally, after the light completely dissipated, a young shota about 1.25 meters tall appeared before the two witches. (He will grow taller soon, but he can also revert.)

With white, slightly yellowish hair, fair skin, elf ears, and a pair of orange-red eyes, he bore about a 50-60% resemblance to Alice.

""Eh?""

The two witches were stunned for a moment, but immediately afterward, Alice burst forth with an incomparably brilliant maternal radiance!

"So cute! Just like Klee when she turns into a little boy! Barbeloth, look, look! Isn't this child adorable! Come here, little Orion, try calling me 'Mom'?"

"...No."

"Just say it! Just say it!"

"No, Auntie Alice, I just came here to find someone. Auntie, please just let me enter!"

What happened next was the scene at the very beginning of Chapter 1.

Finally, after half an hour of wrangling, after Orion humiliatingly acknowledged a godmother, Alice finally let him go.

Fortunately, Orion, who was an orphan in his previous life, didn't mind acknowledging such a beautiful mother.

But it was too terrifying, the Mom Weirdo was too terrifying!

What kind of mother hugs her child with the intention of suffocating them! He was currently in a human body!

Next, Alice and Barbeloth together introduced many precautions regarding Teyvat, leaving Orion utterly confused.

He had played the game, so he was very clear about some of the world-view settings, but there was absolutely no mention of, "If you really can't control the tyrannical power inside you, you can go to Dadaupa Gorge to kill Hilichurl for fun, but make sure to kill a balanced number from each tribe, otherwise one tribe will become too strong and annex the others."

Are you two normal? Don't you know that Hilichurl are transformed humans? Barbeloth, why are you just watching?!

"Well, when you see Klee later, please take good care of her for me! And Albedo, technically, they should be considered your older brother and younger sister!"

"So, you already consider me your biological son?"

"Also, take care of Mona for me. In a while, she'll hide in Mondstadt to avoid my sharp edge. Keep an eye on her so she doesn't starve to death."

"I will do my best, Auntie Barbeloth."

"Also, little Orion, your true body's power is too immense. It's best not to fight with full power casually; using just a fraction of it should be enough for you to walk sideways here."

"Don't worry, my main goal is to learn how to control the Abyssal Power, so naturally, I will primarily use the Concert power. As long as no one provokes me, I won't cause random destruction."

During the conversation, Orion had already edited his character design again. Now he looked about 1.8 meters tall, with broad shoulders and a slim waist, roughly eighteen years old.

Combined with the appearance of the two witches, it looked just like parents sending their child off to college.

Orion looked at the wide-open door behind him. Once he stepped across, Teyvat would be on the other side.

"Don't worry, Mom Alice, Auntie Barbeloth, I will convey your regards to them!"

Orion turned around, filled with excitement, and walked toward that great door!

Walking toward Teyvat!

"Wait, little Orion, let me make you some clothes. Otherwise, you might get arrested when you get there."

"Ah? Oh, I forgot that after transforming, I wasn't wearing clothes."

He put on the clothes and walked toward Teyvat once more!

...However, passing through the luminous doorway, the other side of the door was—a vast ocean!

"AHHHHHHH! Holy crap, I don't know how to swim!!!"

The Giant Spider naturally wasn't afraid of water, but the problem was that Orion couldn't swim. He currently possessed only a human appearance, and the fear of water etched into his soul made him momentarily forget what abilities he had to pull himself out!

Submerged and helpless, yet this small amount of seawater couldn't drown him. For a humanoid ORT who could play breath-holding games in magma and had no concept of death, Orion was truly just flailing frantically in an environment that couldn't kill him.

Fortunately, by chance, he grabbed hold of a small, soft body that felt like a child's, and then, together with that body, he was suddenly pulled out of the water by a great force!

On the shore, a beautiful girl with short blonde hair and delicate features looked down at the unidentified flying object and the white-haired elf boy huddled on the ground, coughing up water.

Then she looked at the fishing rod in her hand and the ocean nearby.

"Have fish evolved to this extent now?"

..."Did you calculate anything?" Alice asked, resting her chin on her hand, watching Barbeloth constantly fiddling with the Astrolabe.

"I figured it out, but I had to use a different method," Barbeloth replied. "First, he is considered the fifth descender, and he is not recorded on Irminsul.

Second..."

Barbeloth showed a strange expression: "This kid... has quite the strong romantic fortune!"
